Couldn't fault it... lovely flavours on ever level... service was spot on all in an chilled out atmosphere 👌🏼

This was our second visit to Otto after waiting a while to try it, and, we will definitely be coming again. Spoilt for choice with the menu and a great selection for gluten free. Each dish is full of flavour and so tasty you are torn, you don’t want it to end but then you do because you can’t wait to try the next dish! Staff are excellent, helpful and friendly, if you are unsure about any items on the menu they will tell you what it is. Lovely ambience, great food, brilliant staff, what’s not to like. This place is well worth visiting.

Edit. Visited again and had the badassbadass potatoes again with the sexy pie, the pie was lovely the potatoes really let it down, barely cooked which is a shame. My friend had the Sunday roast and again the potatoes really let it down. Lovely place, love the decor. So much to choose from on the menu, I'm not good when there is so much choice. The young lady that was serving us was lovely. She was very helpful and recommended a few dishes to us, which was very appreciated as they were so tasty. I enjoyed every bite. The pudding was out of this world. Good prices as well. I will definitely go back again and recommended.

I've been here a couple times now and my only regret is not going more. The food is amazing and so full of flavour, the atmosphere is great and the service was superb. I believe our server was Ben and we felt well looked after. I couldn't recommend Otto enough!

CANT RECOMMEND ENOUGH - JUST GO AND TRY IT. Amazing food which far exceeded our expectations. Even as a vegetarian I hadn’t expected to be wowed by vegan food as past experience of vegan food has been awful but OTTO’s was fantastic and that’s the words used by my friends and hubby who are all serious carnivores and only tolerated a change from Indian food for me. We had a sharing mezzo to start with a variety of hummus, delicious curd cheese, babaganoush & fatieh (yogurt) with warmed bread. For main course we shared qurma (roasted veg curry) & veggie koftas all accompanied by lemon and herb rice and bad-ass badadas potatoes and WOW,WOW, WOW. The balance of flavours and textures were amazing, the food was filling and absolutely delicious. The waiter who served us was helpful in advising us of best choices and the service was the right balance of helpful, attentive and patient as the style of food was new to us.

My friend and I have been to Otto Vegan Empire a few times now. The atmosphere is lovely,the decor is very tasteful, the staff are kind,courteous, efficient,knowledgeable about the food and are a credit to the establishment. The food, wow!!!! it doesn't disappoint. We have tried a few different things on the menu and have been delighted with every single thing we'vehad. The vegan roast is out of this world, words alone cannot describe this wonderful dish. I heartily recommend this fantastic restaurant and am so happy we found it. 5 GOLD STARS and compliments to the chef.

If I could give this place 100/100 I would. Everything was spot on, the food, atmosphere and staff. I thoroughly enjoyed my meal and highly recommend to anyone in the area!

I have been wanting to come here for ages, do not be put off by it being vegan, there’s plenty of protein and you won’t go home hungry. Presentation epic, every mouthful is a taste adventure. I had the insane wrap, that took me on a journey through the Middle East with each mouthful. The badass potatoes are so unbelievably good, luscious crisp potatoes with pickled veg, lovely sauces, taking loaded potatoes to a whole new level, the frickles are the best I’ve ever tasted. In fact it is so hard to choose as the whole menu is inventive and sounds electric, but no picture or description can do this place justice, you must try it. If you like Middle Eastern food and street food, there is no better in the region. I will happily drive the 25 miles to visit this place again and again. Seriously deserves recognition from all the top awards beautiful rustic surroundings, great service, reasonably priced. It couldn’t have been any better

The food here was incredible, and the restaurant is really nice too, looks lovely inside - service also spot on. Took me ages to convince my husband who refuses a meal without meat to come along but he finally did and he said his meal was delicious I couldn’t actually believe it!! For anyone with a similarly difficult (when it comes to food) loved-one in their life, he had the sexy pie. We came with friends and they also thought the food was great. Really so impressed. Best restaurant in Bramhall in my opinion and I am not veggie or vegan.

First time visiting this place. We loved everything about it. The food was flavourful and portion sizes were very good. Staff were attentive and catered to our needs. The only downside, although not through fault of the restaurant, was that we were the only table in there at 7pm, so it was very quiet. Overall a brilliant experience. Will be returning.

Otto is one of my favourite places to eat, the food is incredible. Today was the first time we've tried the Sunday roast and it was delicious! So much flavour and variety and what a treat to have vegan yorkshire puddings! Excellent service as always, thank you!!

This was our first visit, we both had the Sunday lunch which was the best we have ever had and we cant wait to go back and try other things off the menu with more friends.

This place is OUTSTANDING! the food is delicious, warm and homely with loads of flavour and it’s amazing to have so many all vegan options. Meat eaters would still love this food. The staff are friendly, helpful and attentive. The aesthetic is perfect, it feels relaxing and cosy but elegant and upmarket at the same time. My husband and I are not “desert” people but we had 3 courses and polished off every single thing, the pudding was delicious and we can’t wait to return!

I have been vegan for 6 years and this is the best roast dinner I have had. My partner who is not vegan was also blown away with how lovely the roast and dessert was, all washed down with a bottle of Merlot. Lovely venue and great staff. Will definitely make the 45 min journey to eat there again

Had Otto-men deliveries during the Pandemic - absolute lifesaver - but this was our first time at the restaurant. Lovely ambience and great decor, and utterly delicious food. We had 3 small plates to share, 2 main courses, a salad and desserts, everything felt very fresh and 'clean', delivered by two pleasant staff. Good wine list from around Europe at reasonable prices. Lovely flavours and ingredients, and so great to know the whole place is vegan - nothing here is pretending to be meat, which is a welcome change in vegan restaurants these days. Will definitely come back for the Vimto cocktail and to sample the rest of the menu.

My friend and I came here for lunch, the service was friendly and professional. The food was amazing, really tasty and lots of flavour. Will definitely come back.

Went here for lunch today while visiting a friend and the food was absolutely amazing. We ordered the Meze platter and 4 starters alongside an additional bread board at the suggestion of the waiter. There was the perfect amount of food for lunch. The waiter was polite and although we were only one of two tables eating, the decor and atmosphere was lovely. Would highly recommend!

Beautiful food, lovely decor and super friendly staff. Loads of gluten-free options and staff are very knowledgeable with allergies. Food is reasonably priced, although the drinks are a little expensive. I will definitely be returning.

My son and I were absolutely blown away by just how delicious our lunch was today. The sauce in the kofta dish was to die for ! I would thoroughly recommend this restaurant and if you usually shy away from vegan food then give it a go, you will be pleasantly surprised. An excellent range of desserts too and the service was friendly 🤗

Wow this place is sensational and I’m not vegan or vegetarian. I went with friends who love it and had fabulous food, fantastic wine and an all round superb experience. If you like Middle Eastern food the starters and mezze are very much classics done to a high standard. The mains are great and I can personally recommend the Kofta (first picture) which had I not known otherwise wouldn’t have thought it was vegetarian. Highly recommended.

Delicious food. My partner and I visited on a Sunday evening. We had a three course meal which altogether came to £75 including a tip. The food was absolutely delicious, the Daal was especially tasty, as was the Meze sharer to start. The portions aren’t huge but I almost preferred that as we weren’t overfaced and could just about finish the full three courses between us. The atmosphere and the decor of the restaurant was really nice as well. I especially loved the toilets. The staff were really attentive. Overall I really enjoyable meal. I’d definitely recommend visiting.

Otto provided the venue for my wife’s 40th surprise birthday celebration. They catered for around 40 people and the food tasted as good as it looked. The staff were incredibly helpful and the whole team was really responsive from the initial enquiry until the day. Delighted to find this middle eastern style vegan restaurant in Bramhall. A great range of distinctive tastes carefully blended in each dish. We had the veg qurma and insane wrap. The staff were friendly and helpful. The upstairs room has a view of the street without the noise and fumes of constant traffic

What a delightful little place, food was spot on we had the Sunday roast definitely recommend, ended up having one scoop of ice cream did intend to have more dessert but the roast was so filling. We are definitely coming again

Wending our way back from an anniversary weekend in The Lakes we had pre booked an early slot at this recommended vegan restaurant; sold, if nothing else, on the extremely promising Yorkshire puddings adorning their “Sunday Roast”. (Though we’ve tried many an attempt nothing has got anywhere near a light fluffy egg based Yorkie). The restaurant itself is warm and inviting with an eclectic mix of photos adorning the walls, a hash up of different clothed tables and cushioned bentwood chairs alongside painted wood furniture and a moorish dresser (with wine bottles stored in a towering terracotta honeycomb). Topped by a ceiling of raw wood planks with an opening to the colourful painted eaves. The menu is an extensive array of Middle Eastern/levantine inspired dishes that sounded fantastic and hugely tempting but as we had targeted a swift vegan Sunday roast and we’d only hours earlier had an excellent plant based breakfast we stuck to our guns. (Though we may organise a return visit via our Manchester-based daughter to try a more diverse meal in the near future.) Ben, who looked after us, was excellent. As we booked a table when they first opened there was no-one else there when we entered but another couple soon followed and then it began filling as we finished. I’m sure if it was buzzing the atmosphere would be as warm and enveloping as the food on the menu. The Sunday roast comprised, on our visit, a generous slab of nut roast, mashed sweet potato, roasted carrots and parsnip, seared hispi/sweetheart cabbage, roasted potatoes, perfectly cooked broccoli and the aforementioned (large) Yorkshire pudding then topped with lashings of great tasting gravy. The portions were generous and the quality of all the components great. I thought it was also stunning value in these testing times. As we had several hours of driving ahead of us we avoided any sleep inducing drinks and settled instead for a large pot of Otto double mint tea. MrsC and I both polished off our plates to the extent that we may have endangered the washing up staff’s future employ and voted the vegan Yorkshire the best we’d had. Slightly embarrassed by the speed we both got through the food but hopefully it was seen as a compliment! In summary this is by far the best vegan “roast” we’ve had and has to be heartily recommended and was sufficient a pull to make us want to make sure we came back to try a wider selection of the main menu. Cracking place. Hoping Otto gets to extend the tendrils of his vegan empire towards the East Midlands 🤞 Top spot

I was in this super restaurant with my Dad last night (I'm vegetarian, he's not!) and we had a fantastic meal. It was so hard to choose because it all looked so enticing. Every dish was delicious and we had a fantastic meal at a reasonable price in a lovely atmosphere with good service. It's the best restaurant I've been to in years.

Went here last night with my non-vegan partner and we both loved it. The food was unreal! I've been vegan for a long time and this was easily one of the best meals I've ever had. I'm not used to having so much chioce on a menu but we decided on 2 sharing plates, 2 mains and a rice. All were delicious and we didnt want the food to end. My partner absolutely loved it too and couldn't believe how good it was. Highly recommend!

The most incredible restaurant ever. The food was the tastiest thing ever, service was perfect, prices were reasonable considering the quality and portion size. Exquisite healthy food that does not compromise on quality, everything seemed handmade - place was also very cute and cosy and even their soap smells extraordinary. A dinner/lunch to remember!!

We’d nearly gone a few times to Otto’s but never got round to it. We finally went as a couple just on the off chance looking for something local. Cozy atmosphere and really friendly staff serving up a genuinely remarkable menu. The cheese curd was amazing, quite the highlight of the mezze starter, had you blind taste tested us I’d not have known it was vegan. I’d recommend having a main with a salad or additional dish as the portions aren’t huge but they are full of flavour, the kofta (more meatball than expected) were brilliant, again I could serve those and no one would know it was veggie. Would and will readily go back to try some of the dishes we were tempted by

I would like to see authentic Moroccan mint tea recipe served here as opposed to plain dried mint tea. You could even add rose petal or saffron as an extra twist. Served in Moroccan style tea pot. Menu could do with changing every now and again and more dessert choices.

Lovely food, my only gripe was the young lady serving us seemed stressed as she seemed to be alone, which made her a little flat serving. Food was delicious though so all good, we all have off nights

Came here with my boyfriend the other week for tea. Had the £40 deal which was exceptional value. All the food and the wine was delicious. Couldn’t finish it so took the rest home for my lunch the next day. Fantastic place

What an amazing place, recommended to us and it did not disappoint. Lovely warm welcome. Excellent food - the vegan Sunday roast was amazing, a vegan yorkshire pudding! The sauce on the broccoli was gorgeous, the way the carrots were cooked was another delight. It was so good - no need to call it vegan food, it's just food everyone can eat and enjoy.

Not ashamed to admit we’ve become regulars at Otto! The food is delicious and there’s always space no matter when we go. We particularly enjoy the vegan Sunday lunch (best vegan Yorkshires I’ve had) and the Supangle is a real treat. Thoroughly recommend!

Really lovely place with an amazing roast. Possibly the best I've had. Unfortunately I couldn't have the nut roast aspect due to allergies but they were very accommodating and was offered the roast without it. Decor and service are also amazing. We'll definitely be back to try everything else

Do it, go, don't hesitate! Visited Otto Vegan Empire this weekend and it did not disappoint. Food was exquisite. Very flavoursome and a delight on the tastebuds. I always love to find a place which offers me new flavours and this place did. The atmosphere was very cosy and thought our meal was excellent value for money for the 5 of us. Will be visiting again!

Fantastic place, the food is unbelievable. The badass (or whatever they are called 😀😀) are just unreal, highly recommend to give it a try.

This divine vegan place deserves to be far busier than it is, even on a Sunday evening when it shuts slightly earlier. The food is certainly 'Yottam Ottolenghi standard' with complex balanced flavours that dance on the palette and is replete with aroma, colour and texture served with style. The menu was charming in it's use of short stories to create a picture to frame some of the dishes...we loved it! The menu options were also very innovative with rarities like Manakish, Frickle, Black creamy Hummus and Sinconta Mezzes all contributing to a fantastic meal at a very reasonable price. Kofta, Qurma, Sexy Pie and a very generous Vegan roast were all firm favourites as main courses. Not a mouthfull was wasted! Atmosphere couldn't quite justify 5* as it felt more like a bespoke private dining experience as it was quiet. Our friendly waitress wasn't excessively attentive but gave excellent recommednations when asked. The tip we left was a reflection of that. Only one of us was vegan, but this food was very satisfying even to meat--loving flexitarians.

What a find. Neither of us are vegan, but we were intrigued by all the 5* reviews. Food was simply excellent, I'm still salivating thinking about it. My steak loving partner swallowed his pride to say it's his new favourite place. What an achievement! We can't wait to visit again. I just hope this restaurant gets the hype it deserves.

If you are a vegan then this is definitely the place to be. We are not but this places food is fantastic as are the staff. We went on a Saturday night so booking is a must Highly recommend.

Recently left a 1 start review due to issues with communications and booking. Ottos did get in touch with me and were EXTREMELY apologetic and so I agreed to 'give them another chance' . We went a few days ago. The food was excellent (neither of us are vegetarian or vegan). The service was also excellent and when we got the bill, they had knocked off the price of the bottle of wine due to the booking issues we had. A great example of good customer service turning a bad experience to a good one - well done !

Wow!! Just wow!! Such a fabulous gem of a restaurant! Sampled the Mezze menu and couldn’t stop eating! Had more food than we could handle too! Each dish prepared with love and very very tasty, would highly recommend! Friendly staff and lovely setting!

Lovely, intimate, vegan restaurant in a cute space above the Crown and Conspirator pub. You get to it by going through the pub. There are signs. Best to book in advance ideally as it's pretty small. Incredible food. So imaginative and tasty. I would love it even more if they had a draught lager available, but very happy to recommend and keen to return.

Lovely restaurant above the Crown and Conspirator pub (hopefully they'll get separate access sorted soon as it's not clear you have to go into the pub to access and it's above it, although the friendly person working in the pub pointed us in the right direction). The food was different and really fresh to most vegan food I've had before and was presented well. We went in between lunch and dinner and it was empty but I can imagine the atmosphere is better when busier. It's decorated well with good crockery. The lady who served us was friendy and helpful in recommending and describing the dishes. Would definitely go back. 😀
