We ordered take away for the family and friends before game night. The food is excellent, the best kebabs and nan breads arounds and curries are good too. The staff are friendly and delivery is usually quick. Definitely recommended.

Ordered Bhoona Lamb desi, not having high hopes as 1 at time visiting and other reviews were not too kind. I was actually pleasantly surprised. Yes, the curry used the range c bar stock as probably all their other curries (but so do most takeaways). It had lots of freshness about...fresh ginger julienne , really slice of green chillies, visible onion and garlic. And fresh herbs... well done. Lamb was tender, and v their was thankfully an absence of tomato halves to "pad" the dish . Large chapati was also made... Nice, looking forward to trying other dishes, hope they are as good...

I ordered a curry dish with vegetables as I am vegetarian, and I was delivered CHICKEN. When I called to say this to them, I could hear them in the background acknowledging it “ah yes the rogan josh, the one that slipped?”. If you know that you sent out chicken instead of vegetables, why not call your driver back and contact me to let me know about the delay? I would understand, as long as I am being sent the correct order. Instead of enjoying dinner right now I am sick. I haven’t touched chicken in over 5 years. Not to mention the Kashmiri curry with lamb for my partner was anything but Kashmiri. The sauce was IDENTICAL to their Mirchi Korma I ordered from them before, which was also anything but Mirchi. Yellow, sweet coconut sauce. The lamb itself was a disaster as well. It all went in the bin. The only good thing about the order was the fried rice. Might help with the sickness! I am incredibly upset, I loved ordering from here. Never again, not after this. If it was just the chicken mistake I would give then another chance. But you knowingly let your driver deliver me the wrong order. Shameful.

I used to order from this restaurant all the time but stopped a few months ago as I ordered a £40 meal from the restaurant on just eat for delivery as per normal but on this night I ordered the meal at 10pm at night and waited hours only for the meal not to arrive to only then get a phone call from the restaurant at 11:58pm to say that if I’m available to pick up my order (which I had phoned to be delivered) only to tell them I had ordered a delivery and then they refuse and say they are closing and I must collect, then I proceed to say ok I will come and pick it up if I must and then the restaurant replied with actually never mind it’s too late we have actually shut the shop. So infact they had realised they had messed up and forgot my order to then lie about it and say it was an order for collection (which it wasn’t) and then have the cheek to not even refund my money. It’s this that has put the nail in coffin for me ordering in future, a mess up on their end turned into them deciding it was a mess up on my end and then not even having the honour to refund my order for their mistakes, for this reason this restaurant that I used to love have now lost my business permanently

Ordered off of Just Eat, pizza was a little greasy but all round good, pakora tasted a little undercooked however was all quite enjoyable, will consider ordering from here again

First time ordering so was not sure what to expect. Ordered through the Just Eat App. Ordering was easy. Delivery was fast for a Sat night (35 mins). I had tandoori prawn and my husband had the chicken bhoona with rice, nan and spicy onions. Everything was delicious! Not greasy and full of taste. Very impressed and will definitely order from Original India again.

After ordering and waiting over 1 hour, food was stone cold. When called was told they would send order again, however after looking at the quality of the food, and not wanting to wait another hour, decided to ask for a refund. Was told no refund, and when told I would report to trading standards, was told “tell who you want” and they hung up. Absolutely shocking how they get away with this, robbed of my money, food looked awful. AVOID at all costs!

Do not order from this take away. They stole my money. I order a takeaway (it's not the first time they got my order wrong). I ordered a chicken briyiani, it did not arrive with my order. I called them to be told I was lying. They stole 8.95 from me. These are horrible thieves: do not order from them.

Absolutely disgraceful waited 2 hours near enough for a delivery despite being told every 10 minutes the driver was on there way. When the order came it was absolutely cold and inedible, never again. Take heed please

Went here for a takeaway on a Friday night. Ordered a cheese and tomato pizza and a mixed nan kebab. Both were fresh, tasty and hot. Would return.

Very disappointed tonight, been phoning this place for years and I’m afraid it may be time to try somewhere new, king mixed kebab no tandoori lamb in it {probs the reason I order iT} samosas cold had to microwave them and what seemed like half a naan bread for my kebab base, not good! Get ur act together or I won’t be the only one going elsewhere!!

Went back here after several months but sadly my pakora def wasn't fresh and was more like burnt offerings as it clearly had been reheated most likely from the night before.Additionally we asked the delivery driver for a receipt and was told to call the shop!! I was under the impression a receipt should always be delivered with the food, we won't be calling the shop again as this is an experience that won't be repeated.

Original India is fast becoming my favourite Indian to eat from. The portion sizes are large and the food is bursting with flavour. I believe it’s under new management. The naan bread is the best I’ve ever had. Nice and doughy and not burnt!

Para llevar ordenados para la familia, a través de la página web eatout. Llevo 3 llamadas de teléfono y más de 90 minutos para llegar. Cuando no, la comida estaba tibia y un plato que falta! ! Llamado tienda. . Telefónica siempre comprometido!. En un supongo, habían adoptado los teléfonos del gancho. Saltó en el coche (punto de entrega no era tener que salir! ) Cuando llegué, mi esposa había logrado, teníamos ahora decidimos que queríamos un reembolso como si era ahora más de 2 horas desde la llamada. I ordered 2 pizza's, the Americano Base was not fully cooked and to be honest not very nice, the donner pizza was really good, the chips were not fully cooked as they were hard in the middle.

The best tandoori chicken tikka I've had in a long time. I don't order a lot of take out because I haven't found anywhere that is consistently good but this place is - simply fresh and delicious food at reasonable prices. I'll be ordering more often having tried it twice now!

Delivery time given 8.25pm got a call at 8.30pm to say would be 15 minutes later but turned up at 9pm. Disappointed about this but the food was really tasty and hot.

Honestly every single time I order a pizza and I specifically ask for thick it comes like paper. I don't know how it happened but I got a pizza tonight and the base was burnt and the cheese was barely melted. Definitely not getting a pizza again. Partner had no complaints though

Wasn't to my taste but that is not a slight in original India, I just didn't like the sauce and salad in my hogie, would prefer it dry. Love original India tho everything else is so fresh and tasty!

6.15pm on a Saturday night decided to phone out for a curry for the family. Used the just eat app. and was told 50minutes for delivery. 1hour 30minutes later called Original India to be told it had just left. 20minutes later it arrives. We start unpacking the carry out (£35 order) to find out that there is a curry missing. Not only that but the food was luke warm We decided to give the shop a call to get the other curry sent to us and we could micro the rest. After 20minutes of waiting for the phone to be answered I jumped in the car and went to the shop.Imagine my surprise to be TOLD that the food was in fact hot and did I not realise that they were the busiest shop in the area at this point my patience was gone. I demanded a refund and was told I would have to return the food !! I duly got back in the car , drove home , gathered up the food and returned to Original India. By this time I have lost the will to live , I told the owner that the service was a disgrace and I should not be running around trying to get my order right. My refund was thrown at me. The owner took exception to me telling him again about his shocking service and started screaming and yelling to 'get the **** out of his shop' didn't think it could get much worse and then...the icing on the cake from the owner 'if you don't get out I'll rip your ******* jaw' What a lovely way to spend a Saturday night. It may not come as a surprise , but we will never be back in Original India. Think carefully when you want take away food in Bridge of Weir , there are some much better alternatives than Original India

Placed order at 17:10 and received it at 19:25, after calling at 18:30 to ask how long it would be. They said they didn't get the order from Just Eat until 18:05, despite me getting a message at 17:25 to say that the restaurant had received my order and had delayed the delivery time by 10 mins to 18:05. The food did not arrive at 1855 it arrived very late very cold and short of 2 items this is a very poor service and just eat would not refund my order as it was too cold to eat never would I use them or just eat again and have already advised lots of people to use either service and these people agreed I am also disputing payment with my bank and reporting the mater to trading standards and would love to see this company on watchdog soon

after 3 attempts finally got order right but food very poor standard.usuall curry powy quite good but thats two in a row of awful food.never again.curry sauce same in both dishes, jst xtra curry powder added to 1.chic tikka lumps of dried out chicken and no salad.

The app had said that the food was delivered at 18.55 which was not the case . When I phoned, the manager said the driver had just left, however it taking 2hours to arrive is not acceptable. It was a bank holiday monday, but they are usually good any weekend we use them so i cant understand how today was any different. I said i was not happy to pay for it as it took so long so didnt even get any food in the end as the driver took it back .

I've been a customer for a long time I recently places an order through just eat and within seconds something urgent came up I had to leave my house due to personal circumstances I called the restraunt apologising saying something important has came up and I have to leave ( this was all within seconds ) he proceeded to be rude and tell me that this is the third time I have cancelled. When I have never cancelled. Out raged at the redness I got and it's not been the first time they have messed my order up I phone politely to tell them and they are rude on the phone. Never again will I eat from here.

I am never disappointed here I sometimes order set meal b that is 2 curries rice spiced onoins poppadoms pacorra but every week when I am working nightshirt I call in for chichen tika kebab extra large with salad and sauce yum it's a takeaway shop

Ordered to pick up. Had to wait another 20mins after time I was told it would be ready. Was given a 10" munchy box when had paid for a 12" had to ask for my naan bread after paying extra for it. First time using here. Don't think I would order in a hurry again

There was a portion of chips missing as it says on the menu the calzones are served with salad, sauce and chips. Due to the sheer taste of the food and the party it had in my mouth I would definitely order from here again! The meaty meatiness of meat in the calzonè more than made up for my wandering chips. I was left with heartburn at 3am but I'd blame it on the 4 pints even though I know pints are good for you! Well done original India. You made a hungry drunk man happy!
