This is a small coffee shop right in front of the British Library. The coffee is really fresh, short and strong, like true Barista coffee. There are a few bar style seats inside and also two tables outside. They didn’t have soya milk in terms of non dairy, instead they just have oat or almond neither of which I like, otherwise I would have given 5 stars. Overall a nice small coffee shop. It is also right near the train station.

Uanset hvad du skal i London, så gør dig selv den tjeneste at hente kaffe her. Jeg kommer forbi hver gang jeg er i London.

Had a latte and a jam doughnut - both were great. Coffee was aromatic and didn’t have that sour tang at the end. Jam in the doughnut was generous and the doughnut was fluffy. Would definitely come again if I was near St Pancras / Kings Cross station.

Was walking from my hotel to St Pancras train station to get the train to Luton Airport and needed my early morning coffee fix. Origin Coffee Roasters was coming up as being near by so popped in to grab a coffee for on the go. Freshly prepared and good prices. Excellent for grabbing something in a rush when needing to get a train.

I always drink my coffee here whenever I visit the British Library; the beans they use are very aromatic. The place is cozy enough that you can sit for hours. It is well soundproofed from the noise of the main road outside.

I'm so glad to have come across this gem of a coffee shop on my way to the train station. it's quite a small place, but i found the way it had been decorated to be really visually satisfying, simple and chic. I ordered an oat latte, and I was really happy to see that there was no extra cost for oat milk, I appreciated that a lot. It was also so lovely sitting facing the window, really making me appreciate the calm space where I was enjoying really great coffee, while the fast pace of London life continued outside. The woman who made my coffee was very kind and calm, I would definitely go back again, a great place to wind down and appreciate the little things. Coffee has never tasted so good.

A small but chic coffee shop outside the British Library. They serve nice coffees & pastries. They have a few breakfast items on the menu of which the avocado on toast was good & yummy. It was not cheap but worth the money. Worth to spend some time here to chill out.

If you’re looking for excellent-tasting coffee (including decaf’), do try this place. The sourdough bread, generous slices of cheese, & roasted pepper is delicious! More importantly for me, the staff gives superb (this word ‘dates’ me 😃) Service. Thank You

I just love this coffee shop. They do everything you'd want - batch brew, pour over, espresso, etc, but I generally order a flat white as it's the best I've had and they are consistently good regardless of which barista makes them. All the baristas are friendly and passionate about coffee.

Coffees are good. Sandwiches are good (really). Staff is friendly. Coffee types are being alternated quickly enough to make things interesting (not like other places where they keep the same kind of coffee for 3 months). They have all sorts of coffee (v60, kalita, aeropress and other weird words) and their baristas are passionate baristas. BUT you don't go there to sit for 2 hours. Not enough seats.

I was greeted by incredibly friendly staff and a chilled and cool atmosphere. I got talking to Josh, one of the baristas who later came over and asked me how my coffee was, picking up on the fact I was here for the flavour and not for the caffeine. We chatted for what must have been about 15 minutes about water, grind profile, James Hoffman and lots of other nerdy coffee stuff. He gave me some great tips when it came to brewing at home. My filter coffee had a cinnamon like dryness which was accompanied by the sweetest tip of the tounge first sip you can imagine from a coffee. The initial taste was wet wet wet, but began drying out long after you swallowed. The body was medium and syrupy with a very clean finish. As the coffee cooled, more acidity came through towards the back and sides of the tounge, similar to under ripe strawberry or black currant. The tip of the tounge sweetness without a doubt is best described as mango. It hits you like fruit juice! The best coffee shop I have ever visited without a doubt. Simply the best and most interesting tasting coffee you can find. With a seasonal range, you’ll get something different and unique on every visit. Five stars. Anybody looking for flavourful, unique coffee in a brilliant setting, this is the shop for you.

Situated in the entrance hall to the British Library, Origin served us a couple of excellent cups of coffee, hot and strong. Friendly service, reasonable price for central London. Very limited seating; at busy times I suspect it would be standing room only.

This coffee shop has the privilege of serving me the worst cup of tea I have ever had the misfortune to buy or be served. It was served Luke warm and was so weak that it was tasteless. I could still taste it two hours later. Will never go there again.

Knowledgeable staff and great coffee selection (both to drink and buy as bags). Had a washed espresso, a (Chinese!) Honey filter, and a Geisha pourover. All fantastic, perfect coffee stop next to the station/library.

Worth nipping out from the British Library for a short break and have coffee that actually taste like coffee. They don’t do chocolate sprinkle, but... they do coffee art instead!!

We loved our lunch at Carrots and Daikon yesterday. I had the garlic tofu Banh mi and my husband had the tofu lunch box. The baguette forming my Banh mi was the perfect combination of crunch with a soft centre and the tofu was nicely garlicky. What really made our day were the ice creams! The chrysanthemum and mango ice cream was such a fantastic combination and the matcha and pistachio was delicious too. We then bought one of each of the other flavours and I must admit that the combinations are creative genius! Who would’ve thought that mint choc chip would go with coffee and raspberry and jasmine tea with its floral notes would hit the spot?! I thought that the coconut and lemongrass was super refreshing too. Thank you to the friendly folk at C & D.

Friendly neighbourhood pub - good selection of beers and have started doing good food again! Outside area is great on a warm day - generally tends to be a good atmosphere.

Opened last year or early this year..very pleasant and airy bar / cafe, which if you're arriving early for a meeting or finishing early, is a nice place to chew over the errors in your recent ritual meeting! As usual in London all a bit pricey but very convenient after a meeting in the Temples. Very bright and tastefully decorated with the usual good staff.
