Oriental House in Manchester

I had filled my stampcard and was just about to order it dosent run out until april and now its not here. Its totally dissapeared.

place is standard but still good value for money

worth every penny and more, big portions and freshly battered fish. if you haven't tried this place. I urge you to do so.

Food was delicious & so much too go round shared between 3 of us

Really looking forward to a take away all day and was quite disappointed. Ordered at 5:10 arrived 6:25. Didn’t get any free prawn crackers which is usually a given from a Chinese. Duck pancakes - wasn’t the shredded duck it was more like a breast and sliced which wasn’t too bad but unfortunately it was 75% fat. BBQ sauce didn’t really taste of anything, quite oily. Won’t be ordering from here again.

Great dry bbq ribs, roast pork satay was meaty not fatty, it also had a mild kick, not too spicy but the spice was there. My partner had chick and mushroom and he said it was 100% only he wanted larger chips next time! Thanks Oriental House.

chips seemed warmed up several time chewy not the best

Hands down best chippy around. Delivery driver always lovely. The food is always hot and very tasty. I live in Northen Moor and it amazes me how it arrives still piping hot. I wouldn't go anywhere else now.

Never been let down by Oriental House! Food is always high quality, delicious, piping hot, and delivered either on time or early! Definitely recommended!

Always good. I’ve tried cheaper and this place is the best to my taste. Lovely hot fresh food. Maybe more veg in the chicken curry, but perfect otherwise

Food is very poor. 2nd visit gave it a second chance after first visit was very disappointing. It lacks flavour, and cooking skills . Theirs no pride in there food. Wont be going back for a third visit . plus made me ill for 3 days.. am guessing too much msg or a stomach bug . Not happy ,

I ordered from this restaurant via UberEats, but after waiting for 2.5 hours, my food still hadn’t been delivered. I tried contacting the restaurant multiple times, but received no response. Ultimately, I had to reach out to Uber customer service to cancel the order. This experience was completely unacceptable. I highly recommend not ordering delivery from this restaurant.

the food was cold, all the chips were scrapings. if i had a car, i would’ve came back with it all.

Lovely from here, very tasty - on time and hot Only down fall is don’t get prawn crackers when spend over certain amount on order and that’s what look forward to with most Chinese places

the food was actually cold had to warm it up in microwave, 1st time I've actually experienced this from here usually hot when I receive it

Top quality food. The meat wasn’t chewy or fatty, it wasn’t greasy and it wasn’t really salty. The best Chinese takeaway I’ve had for a long time.

really disappointed my vermicelli was inedible as the shrimp were very off. I had to put it in the bin.

Incredibly generous portions and really great quality. Never expected to have great fish and chips from a place that also makes great roast duck and Singapore noodles! So many reasons to like this place!

ordered salt m pepper chips. they was warmup from dinner time

we normally order from Joy's but after being let down on delivery and portion size on 3 occasions it was time for a change. The food was great. Good portion size and great tasting. From now on it will be my go too.

I got food poising from a chicken curryy

I wasn’t keen on the crispy beef but each to their own apparently from that the crispy chicken was tasty as well as the fried noodles, delivery time was perfect and the driver was polite as well

Food was tasteless. Waste of £18 for 3 items

Soggy undercooked fish with bones in. What is going on, You have been the best fish for miles around for years, But the lase 3 times I have had them from its been very bad. New cook? cost cutting? This is hard for me to say but as a customer of yours for over 10 years I think I am done. 3rd time in a row the food was not good.

I wouldn’t usually leave a review but I’ve been here on many occasions and every single time my food is ready quickly and delicious, the staff are very friendly, what more could you ask for.

To be honest I had a very bad experience with Oriental. Their service and atmosphere was okayish but the food was horrible. Had ordered Roast Duck Chow Mein and it was the worst Chow Mein food I have ever eaten today. Had a bad stomach ache this morning. Also the food was not cooked properly and I struggled to eat it last night. I hope I had eaten Chinese food somewhere else.

Very late, cold, tried to contact them 3 times, got through to someone on the 3rd call to be told there just waiting on a driver

unfortunately the food wasn't very hot at all and took over an hour for delivery. Can only assume driver did a few deliveries and we were last. Usually great so hopefully a blip.

food cold when delivered. sweet and sour chicken balls the sauce pot is so small it doesn't cover 2 off chicken balls. never order from them again.

Food was absolutely awful, all the fish tasted of was oil, were completely inedible, the chips were dry , biggest waste of almost £30
