My favourite Chinese around have been going to it for years. When I moved to Essex I couldn’t find a good Chinese. So now I get my mum to bring one over as it can’t be beaten and we enjoy it so much. 5 stars all round.

I recently ordered from Oriental Express , and I was thoroughly impressed! The food was absolutely delicious, bursting with authentic flavour's and perfectly cooked. The staff were amazing—friendly, attentive, and really made the experience stand out. On top of that, the service was incredibly fast, with a quick turnaround from order to delivery. The worst Chinese I have ever had… ordered chicken satay, it was more like a chicken stew..with no taste at all.. Pancake roll was like nothing I have ever had before.. I can’t even describe it in words.. Ordered a peking sauce and got some kind of ribs??? I thought ok, but no, tough and over cooked so they went straight into the food recycling bin! Where everything should have gone… Beef with ginger and spring onions… again beef stew… not ginger flavouring at all but did have lots of onions.. not spring… Best thing about our meal was the free prawn crackers… Can say … I won’t be going there again… If I could give no stars then I would…

Top quality food and quick delivery, even when busy

Quite possibly the best Chinese takeaway we have ever had, it was delicious. We ordered the set meal for 2 (easily enough for 3)and some additional ribs (bbq sauce). The meal was delivered on time, (£2 extra ) it was well packaged and still very hot. All in all, exceptional VFM at just over £30.

By far the BEST Chinese restaurant in Hatfield, Welwyn Garden City, and St Albans area. Order on regular basis 3 times per week. Happy with the variety of meals, consistent quality and fast delivery. Highly recommend!!!

Very neat and convenient spot. They offer big portions and for fair prices. I enjoyed the meals very much and the waiters were super welcoming and chatty. Will definitely recommend this restaurant.

Hit and Miss 😕 Crispy Duck is perfect every time, prawn crackers great but the main meals do not come up to par. They blandly lack flavour. I’ve tried and tried with this place but those main courses don’t sing as they should.

Great food far exceeds the standard of other Chinese takeaways in the area for eg the drivers carry card machines when most other takeaways accept only cash the food is good and not the slop that a lot of these takeaways just throw in a box hoping that nobody will notice and who's standards are woeful these days if you like Chinese that was good like the old days when it was a real treat this takeaway is for you it's scrumptious.

They need to get someone proper on the phone the woman doesn’t understand English and assumes things constantly messed order a few various times argued about changing and said I had to pay delivery fee when food was exchanged food that came was absolutely rubbish to say the least rice was over cooked and hard beef tasted off or cheap wouldn’t recommend only things that’s satisfied me were the chicken balls to be fair better off going potters bar (regency Chinese) over this crap! will never be using again!

Find them to always be delicious and fresh, they even accept our cleaned out metal containers to refill them reducing our waste which is simply amazing!! Their range of tofu dishes is great and super tasty which can't be said for many other takeaways. Always enjoy our food from here no matter what dishes we get.

Very good value. I tried the special fried rice with sweet and sour pork Cantones style. The rice was very filling with lots of "special" added to the rice and good quality as well. The pork was good, not fatty as in other establishments. Surprisingly busy for a Sunday teatime. An added bonus for Slovakians interested in interior decor, the magazine rack has several Slovakian magazines specialising in that very subject.

Ordered from here Friday night, I was the last order of the evening. When getting the food out at home I noticed some of the cucumbers for the duck were mouldy which is completely unnaceptable. Was not in a position to call back that evening as they were shut! I have taken photos and added these to images, but cannot believe an order has been sent from here with mould on. If able to give 0 stars I would.

3.12am puked guts up... first time ive had a bad experience from here. Shame Update: The owner contacted me and has come and picked up the food that wasnt eaten to have it tested, I have not wanted a refund on this food I just dont want anyone else to have fallen unwell, I have been ordering chinese from here for 12 years so they are my local and they do the best chilli beef, I am happy with how this is being dealt with and this wont reflect on the good meals we have had from there.
