Had a fabulous meal tonight, piping hot when delivered and great customer service when asking for changes to dishes. Beef curry made extra hot with fresh chilli Absolutely fantastic, Made fresh with his own Spices and not some commercial paste. Cantonese special chowmein, Brilliant packed with flavour and lots of meat and seafood. Good portion size. Cantonese chicken in batter mixed in sauce Excellent, lots of flavour good portion size and a flavour to remember. I Have to say the oriental experience in Chester road is one of the only traditional Chinese takeaways left in Sunderland that still producers a high quality take out service and value for money, after trying most other takeaways around this region. We never go anywhere else for Chinese food. Plenty of it and great quality. Never had to wait too long for delivery .Highly recommend.

We’ve been using this takeaway for over a decade now. Have tried others but no one else meets their standard. Absolutely lovely food every order and the owner is very friendly, great service. I adore their Szechuan dishes and despite their great menu the family also have their favourites. I would encourage everyone to try Oriental Experience!

I've been coming here for years now, tried other takeaways and none as good. Always good portion and friendly personal service. I highly recommend salt and pepper dishes, you'll not be disappointed!

Take always come and go in terms of consistency. Oriental Experience has been consistent in the all the years we've been using it. Portions are huge and excellent value. Starters are of the best we've ever had. PROPER WONTONS, succulent and plentiful filling, Prawn toast likewise. Unreservedly recommended

Tried this place for the first time recently and we were very impressed with the fast, friendly service and the quality of the food. We wanted to try the chicken wings but sadly they were all gone, which means we'll just have to come again! We will definitely eat from here again.

This Chinese is like dying and going to Chinese takeaway heaven. Everything ordered From there over the last 2 years is just absolutely amazing. Taste is bang on and the quality of ingredients on another level. Literally get high 5's off your taste buds when you order from here ...Happy Days! By the way I recommend the salt and pepper chicken AND order a tub of curry sauce AND ask for it EXTRA spicy .....boom!!

We think this is a very good Chinese takeaway - have tried a few locally but this seems to be by far the best - the chicken curry is nice and we also really like the vermicelli Singapore fried rice noodles. Its good value for money and the deliver if you live not too far away

They upgraded the menu, now there's more to choose from! Even if what you'd like isn't on the menu they are happy to make your order the exact way you ask for, who can beat that?!! I treated myself and hubby to house special crispy noodles, house special black pepper dish, and salted fish with aubergine. Always happy with their generous portion and reasonable price! Not forgetting they now have a massive tv screen to keep you entertained while they prepare your food to perfection ;)

We have used this takeaway for many years, either call in, but mostly delivery. Service is friendly as the same guy has worked there a long time. Food always very good

Always loved them! My usuals are Singapore fried vermicelli and salt and pepper dishes, or house special fried rice. Today I was a bit more adventurous, I tried their salted fish with rice and tomato beef - lush! I can't wait to visit again! Try this place out, you won't be disappointed :)

Used this take away for over 20 years and still the best in Sunderland for authentic Chinese food .The prices are very good and if your favourite dishes are not on the menu they will make it for you.

I've been highly recommended by a friend at work about this take away and she was right about amazing food they offer. We tried the Salt and Pepper Spare Ribs and it was the best that I've tasted for a long time. My husband and I shared the Crispy Aromatic Duck with the kids and really enjoyed it.

i used to go to the oriental experince all the time for my take away but then went off the place. the egg foo yung had no taste.
