Oriental City in Aberdeenshire

Was my first experience and was horrible the food was way past the app time I called he said it was out for delivery my house is 4 minutes drive away and took 15 minutes longer to arrive and it showed I payed 48+ for cold chips cold special fried rice the skewer sass was cold the shredded chick was thick and cold the peeking shredded beef was cold only thing that was hot was the chicken sweetcorn soup and the spring rolls won’t be back there

I have been using Oriental City since 2008 when I first moved to the area. It is the best in the area if not Aberdeenshire. Simply the best

Was a fan of this place, ordered often, but recently on my last order the food was horrible. My wife got sick on the curry sauce and special rice and my meal was fake chicken (used to be real now frozen fake in the rice) and the rest of my meal was tasteless and was not of the old good quality.

Ordered chicken curry and really enjoyed it.

Had a take out on Frid it was cold & disgusting chicken was slimey at£22 its not cheap but you would like food thats nice wont be back. They were busy & not taking care but charging enough.

Ordered at 17:45 was told would be 45 minutes called after an hour wait the girl said be 20 minutes then called again after an hour and a half was told they are away to pack my order girl was rather rude when i asked why so long wait in total an hour later that arrival time and luke warm won’t be ordering again

Terrible service! Which is such a shame as the food is very good. Phoned in order at 17.20 was told it would be 30mins turned up at 17.55 to collect and was told it wouldn't be long. Stood waiting 30mins then I asked how long it would be and was told again not long then after another 10mins I asked how long and she said it was being bagged up, after another 10mins I asked where my order was and she said they were just waiting for one more dish. After standing waiting for an hour my order was finally brought out. All that time my 2 young children were sat waiting in the car with my mum. If they cannot make orders on time they should be turning away customers instead of lying to us and making people wait an unacceptable amount of time.

Been using oriental city for many years now. Granted food is always late but hot and tastes great. Last night however I placed my order early with the hope that it would be ready and delivered on time but again was an hour late. What was worse was the food was all freezing cold. I had called 40 mins before it arrived to be told it was ready and waiting on a driver so it had obvs sat around all that time. Had to reheat everything. Called and the owner told me is was lying and the food wasn’t cold ! Nice customer service !!! Won’t be using again !! £62 spent and thrown in the bin !

We have been using this Chinese for past 3 years now .. we prefer to travel from Fraserburgh to peterhead for their food ... however tonight something has changed and changed to the point that we will not be returning.. that meal was the worst meal.we have taken home ... very salty and the duck was just full.of fat and thr chicken tasted as if it had been reheated from hours ago ..... we will not be returning after this ... terrible meal .

Just had great takeaway. Every dish was gorgeous. One of the best I've had. Plenty of food as well. Thoroughly recommend

The food from here is really nice, no question however the waiting times and staff attitude really let this place down. Waiting an hour and 10 minutes for my order and when I went in the staff didn't really have a clue what was going on. If you complain about the fact you've ordered an hour and 10 minutes ago they roll their eyes. I was really disappointed and by the time I drove home the food was cold so it had obviously been sitting for a while. Management need to take a look at why waiting times are so long and speak to staff, it's not professional.

Phoned down an order... told 30mins still waiting an hour later 😴 Hopefully the food is nice 🤔🤔🤔🤔

Great customer service and the food I ordered was spot on.

Very enjoyable and if you love chicken fried rice like me well worth a visit big bits of chicken .

This is our go to Chinese takeaway each and every time. My whole family enjoy the starters mainly chicken satay, BBQ ribs, spring rolls and wontons, main courses normally Peking Chicken, beef in black bean sauce etc Food always hot and most times we get a freebie starter 😁

Spent ages waiting in the cold due to a mix up and part of the order was still missing 😠 will not use again.

Saturday night called in order at 17.45, was told be ready for pick up at 18.15, arrived at 18.15 had to wait outside until 19.05 in the freezing cold, people arriving after me, some 20 mins after me and getting thier order before me. Asked 3 times if my order was ready and was told it's getting bagged, still waited ages, finally got order, arrived home to cold food, had to micro the food to heat it up, food was substandard and nearly tasteless, Ended up in the bin THIS HAS HAPPENED 3 TIMES TO US NOW, WE WILL NO LONGER USE THIS TAKEAWAY. AFTER YEARS OF USING THEM EVERY 2ND SATURDAY. I know we are in a pandemic, and under uncertain times but this is no excuse

Food is alright but it's a long time to wait for it...

Got a takeaway tonight delivered asked for roast chicken and beansprouts with BBQ sauce and I got duck 🤮was about sick 😡 get orders right

Absolutely disgusting!! Cold food, raw chicken it was awful!! Phoned to complain and they hung up, went back down with it and they said that the food didn't come from there but somewhere else!! So if you want food poisoning and bad service this is the place for you

I asked for a breast of chicken , I was told this would be sliced . When got home it was small individual bits of meat that was like jelly and was definitely not chicken breast
