Just had a lovely takeaway from here.

Amazing food, large portion, best Chinese food we have had for a while, dillivery to Langdale Lakes whilst we were away was on time, will definitely be ordering again when we come back

Delicious Chinese food, love their chicken curries and vegetable curries. Cash only, so be aware before you buy.

Over priced. It cost 41 pound for special fryed rice deep fryed shredded beef prawn toast and sweet sour chicken balls. I can get all that for 25 altho it nice food. Will definatly. Not order from there again

Have been fairly satisfied in the past but I had a prawn chop suey that had a dozen prawns one chopped spring onion and the rest was bean sprouts. Its now have past midnight and my stomach is grim.

Used to go here all the time when I lived closer and loved it but this time it was really bland and the sweet and sour was thick and gloopy. Will not be ordering again.

This Chinese has gone down hill in every way possible. Such a shame as used to be amazing food. Every order we have had in the last few months has been awful and incorrect, we have made excuses like oh they must be busy etc. But regardless of the choice of night the food is always grim. Such a shame they have let their standards slip so much. £51 for a takeaway that is more of a chore to eat than a treat. Won’t be ordering from here again!

I have a Chinese takeaway from here every week. It never disappoints. It is lovely and hot when I get it back home. The change of staff are pleasant and chatty. Food Brilliant but then I do go when it first opens.

The food was nice good, gets very busy after 6pm on a Saturday so order early for quick service. We ordered at 530 and were told 20 minutes and it still took about 35. This wasn't a problem as we appreciate that it's a busy village takeaway. It's always been nice and would recommend

Awful in every way, saw a chef smoking a cigarette in the doorway to the goods in/ kitchen area , wouldn't use or recommend if it was the last takeaway in the universe... Yes it's that unpleasant... save your hard earned money and go somewhere where else, after my review a former member of staff left due to numerous complaints regarding issues with food and angry ex customers

Found this lovely Chinese at the rear of the co.op in Nettleham by accident. The food was lovely had Kung po chicken, sweet and sour chicken Chinese style and duck with ginger and spring onions with of course chicken fried rice and egg fried rice. Can not fault it. Very tasty and the rice was very good. Will be back

Great food and service but it is a cash only establishment, which I find a proper pain. I am cashless nowadays.

It's impossible to get food unless you order through Uber or the like. We called in last week for one portion of chicken fried rice and were told it was an hour wait and nobody else was waiting!

Good food but prices totally wrong on website meaning bill substantially larger than expected. Staff claim they can't do anything to correct the website, which I suspect is illegal.

Second time I have ordered from here and for the second time the order has been wrong.

I pass one takeaway on my way here & there’s another 2 or three closer to home ! Normally a very nice take away - this time it was just as nice - other than the fact it was 15 mins late & 2 of our items were missing from our order - On speaking to the individual behind the counter on the phone - she offered them free next time - but the it sounded like the owner came to the phone (accent) and it turns out I’m lying & the food was all in the bag ? She had definitely put them in there ???? She was adamant that I had done something with the missing items. After reading various reviews it appears I’m not the only one to of been treated this way - Apologies but I won’t be using you again -

Love the food from this takeaway my grandsons begged their mum to travel from Northampton to visit me but secretly they wanted to have the best chinese takeaway they've ever had . Amazing food .

Treated myself to a Chinese takeaway after a really difficult week. What a disappointment it was! The curry was tasteless, the vegetables weren't cooked, the chicken in the satay was slimy and horrible and again the sauce was tasteless, the rice was dry and hard. I did try to eat more of the veg curry tonight with a packet rice but I couldn't eat it, just awful. Can't tell you what a disappointment it was especially as i have always been happy with the food at this Chinese takeaway. £20 thrown away just like the Chinese and I hate waste, so must of been bad.

Food was last 1 hour 45 minutes waiting it was cold not not good on the phone did not get what i order will never go back 2 that original city for food again×10

Food is always up to standard, but delivery times are hit and miss. Sometimes it breaks the landspeed record, and other times, it feels like they are doing an around the world adventure to deliver.

The customer service is beyond awful. They made a mistake on our order and instead of accepting this, they spent 20 minutes arguing with us down the phone. Absolutely disgusting

Food arrived an hour earlier than we ordered it. (As we were waiting on family to arrive) They then deliver at correct time but the food is stone cold so obviously our original order reheated. They then offer us 10% on our next order... no thanks we'll use Wing Wah next time.

Food was cold on delivery, items missing from order, person on phone very rude kept putting me on hold! Wasnt willing to replace missing items as they were too busy despite me having paid for them! And a £4 delivery charge This used to be my favourite takeaway...I wont be going back

Looks like a good place for a tasty meal, just discovered it, open even on Easter Sunday! Good comprehensive menu, very reasonable prices. Very tempting for another occasion near Lincoln. Travelling the country as a Rock'n'Roll Singer from the early 1960s I used to say "Every Village should have a Chinese, & Indian, Restaurant! > now it's come about. Yum Yum🙂

It was nice with friendly service and assistance.

Called in on a Saturday before Christmas and they were busy. Despite this, front of house was welcoming, friendly and efficient. Food came out of the kitchen ahead of time (told 40 minutes, actually came out in 20) and was fresh, tasty and not too much MSG. Recommended.

Don't get complacent as it could all end soon. Advertise free prawn crackers on orders over £15 you do not recieve them , major fail oriental city , keep your returning custom happy first. Good food though

Got home with an incomplete order so called to see what could be done. Eventually got them to replace the whole order (less than £15 so not exactly going to bankrupt them) rather than have what I did have go cold, but only after they'd suggested I had actually received the whole order and was lying - why would I do that? If I'd had it all I'd have eaten it! They then charged me for delivery despite this being their mistake. Lessons learned: always check the order before leaving; don't visit this place again.

They announced on the phone tonight that they wanted £8.00 to deliver to Wragby despite having delivered free for at least two years. The youth answering the phone was rude and disinterested, and would not let me speak to the manager about it. £8.00 is extortionate!!! We had to place our £50 order tonight as friends had arrived for the meal, but Oriental City have now lost two sets of regular customers.

Finally found a Chinese that delivers too my village and it was lovely definitely will be ordering again :)

Ordered from here this weekend. Food was OK but the prawn crackers I was supposed to get were not in my order. When I called the shop I was told they were in the bag when it left the shop so must be now. They weren't and when I told the employee this I was called a liar as she apparently put them in there herself. When I said I would post this review she changed her tune, said it must be their mistake and that she would give me something free next time. I don't expect to be called a liar when I order a meal and clearly from her change of tune they were in the wrong. Will not be using this restaurant again.
