great food, great staff and easy to talk to, had no problems with the service and staff were polite and respectful.

The food was absolutely lovely, I really enjoyed myself and they serve quite large portions of food and I couldn’t even finish it. The staff were amazing and respectful towards my dietary requirements, they engaged with me and didn’t seem bored so overall, very polite and friendly staff.

To the management of Oriental Chef. I totally agree with you Cash Is King. Keep up the good work.

Came cold and I found not one but two hairs in! Absolute disgust. Reported them to Uber do not eat.

Purchase 2 egg fried rice I returned them for a refund it taste burnt and just wasn't right awful tbh just avoided big panda is the one a little more but worth it tbh I havnt Brough from hear for years we were regular customers until 2019 and they Ince forgot my chicken balls when we called and told them they Brough it but they black listed us we we havnt Brough from them since until today due to bank Holiday and everywhere being closed. I did get my refund the man said it was the soy sauce and that you get the chance to ask for white or black rice

Rubbish service never accepts my Uber order idk why they are even on Uber don't buy from here.

I ordered food from here oh my word I’ve never taste Chinese food so yummy with so much flavours I really loved it. Honestly recommend having a nice special fried rice from here its succulent and full of blasting flavours. Good service and quick delivery if you live local in Edmonton they close late and honestly for £10 you can get a big portion of rice and spring rolls that’ll fill you up !!

Amazing place to take away. The food is cooked in front of you so you know what you are getting. Great value for money and the manager is amazing. Highly recommend and well popular by local residents.

best Chinese takeaway in north london (in my opinion) great quality food the owner is very knowledgeable about the Quisine. i would highly recommend this to anyone who wants to try chinese food for the first time or even if they have had chinese food before always come to Orifental chef opposite Edmonton green Police Station.

Ordered food 2 days ago for collection. The person who picked up the phone was super friendly and patient, and helped to give me a good first experience of the shop. The rest of the good experience came as soon as I walked in and found my food being prepared to leave with me on time. The food was as nice as the customer service was. Definitely recommend it for people who havnt tried it before!

This is best oriental chef ever!!! Been a customer for years and now my kids are customers too! Moved to Waltham Cross and tried the oriental chef there..sorry but food was awful.. now I drive to Edmonton to get food from here.Friendly staff and the food is absolutely amazing. Would highly recommend this place especially the fried chilli beef, king prawn fried rice and curry sauce 👌🏽.

Ordered beef chow mien , poor presentation, beef was slimy and not fresh , could not eat it at all. Had to put it in the bin.

i have very good experience in this restaurant, the food is all clean smells nice and is very delicious i always get food from there and the food is enjoyable

So I decided to check this place out after an interesting mix of reviews - some saying how great it was whilst others stating it was the worse. My experience was good. The food was fresh and tasty. The rice was as good as expected and my tofu with black bean sauce had a good amount of tofu with a tasty sauce. I will eat from here again. The main course and a large rice gave me enough for 2 meals.

Worst Chinese food eaten the chicken balls were full of salt burnt and old was vomiting all night from the food chow mein noodles soggy and like it was reheated awful will be making a complaint to the food health organisation

Prepared fresh, tasty food and quick service at unbelievable prices. I've gone to far more ' premium ' Chinese restaurants and they are not half as good as this place. A real local gem.

If I could I would rate it 0 I will give my honest opinion I placed my order over the phone all fine I waited for my food 45 mins I was really hungry but I was really disappointed my food came lukewarm not hot hot just lukewarm so I started eating I took a couple of bites but the smell was putting me off it tasted like old used oil little seasoning on my chicken 🐔 🍜 noodles I just couldn't eat anymore Curry sauce was not good at all overall really disappointed with the food First and last time ordering from there Wastes of money 💰

Worse take away ever. The pork balls were full of chunks of fat. The sweet and sour sauce like water. The food was cold and took over an hour and a half to arrive. They ignored my calls. Awful. Won't be using them again.

Actually the worst food I've ever ordered! There is definitely someone who doesn't care and is jeopardising the business.

The food was okay. Prawn cracker was very fresh and that was a plus. The food was average. i would say it's slightly overpriced for the quality of product. What I find slightly annoying is that the takeaway would selectively give freebies to its customers. It does not create a good customer experience when some gets something for free whilst other have to pay for it.

Please bring back the fresh and zingy taste in your Singapore noodles as made by previous team.

I've eaten here off and on for years. I just had a burned, tasteless meal from there. The sweet and sour sauce was just sour. Terrible food. I won't be back

My regular Chinese restaurant, the food is cooked by professional chef. The owner is very friendly specially the lady owner. Always will recommend there food

This place is amazing, fantastic food great value. i can't have gluten or dairy and they special make my rice for me with gluten free soy sauce.

Staff very friendly. Im very fussy with my food , and so i go past 2 different chinese takeaways/ restaurants just to use this one as i no the food is top quality and its cooked in an open kitchen in front of you.

omg i would never order food again from them i had to write this to warn other people buying from them they need a food inspection to attend more often i ordered nuddles and they had very bad smell with old cooking oil and grass everywhere i took some photos and called made a complain they offered me another one i said no thank you i would never order again from them when you buy your food guys smell it it will smell burned and over cooked paid and waited my money try other restaurant are much more better this one is one of the most disgusting chinese restaurant in Edmonton i vomit it after i wish I can report it to the health food organisation .

Sad story. We live under two miles away but they refused to give us delivery as our postcode isn't in their system. They promise free delivery up to three miles according to their leaflet :(

We went straight after lockdown and we paid £17 but everything we were given was old and reheated. It was absolute rubbish. We had chips and noodles that were all black and dry. We couldn’t even eat it and we had throw away everything we paid money for. Definitely not going there again!

Our usual Chinese was closed, so the missus took a chance with these guys. She got me a shimp fried rice and all I can describe it as is oily garbage. The rice was mushy and stuck together and tasted like chemicals. Never again will I eat from this place

I have been using this restaurant for a decade but since the old man that originally started the shop no longer stays in the shop the service is rubbish I have had Singapore fried noodles made which was overpowered with salt and when I complained I was given abuse but I went there again because i have been using this place for years and food ok but then I had another incidence where they gave me cold food again abuse and i got no refund .so food can be good but sometimes the food is rubbish and then you will get abuse i will never go back to this shop again.

Had order delivered. The rice was very hard and grainy difficult to chew. The rice noodles was ok but too salty. The sweet and sour chicken inside was tough, had to chew and spit out, and the prawns with vegetables tasted like soapy water. One of the most disappointing chinese takeaway orders.

Manageable local Chinese takeaway

Chicken curry was green and runny... in fact looked more like puke...egg fried rice was burnt brown with no sign of an egg...it was all stone cold and completely vile...it was thrown in the bin ...never eat here ...worst we have ever had ...ive had to give it one star purely for the fact it wouldnt let me post unless i did!!

Best shop in the west ( were in south) but its the best in the west and better than the rest so yeah i think its real cool very respectful and nice food and uhhhh yeah (im single)

Went into the shop tonight 24th Jan Stood their for 5 mins but the man and woman were to engaged into their phones . I asked can we be served and was ignored twice . Their phones were more important to them than us ! Check your cctv management 9:45pm . We left and went to another takeaway . Very disappointed indeed .
