Beautiful fresh food , starter of duck rolls which was filled to the rim with duck and my personal favourite of salt chilli slow cooked ribs - must say absolutely beautiful..Main course of super combo , a mixture of pork chicken, beef nem nuong, spring roll and fried egg served with noodles lettuce and cucumber all served in a bowl . This was very flavoursome and totally delish. As with all meals the local drink should be consumed do a couple of ice cold Hanoi beers the perfect complement. Totally recommend the whole experience with Oren Pho
Just got back from an incredible blowout lunch and now can barely move but thought I would share my experience. Booked a table this Saturday as soon as they reopened after covid to fix my craving over the past few months. Nothing like eating in for a proper dining experience! Ordered the summer rolls, salt and chilli squid, chicken wings, banh xeo pancake and then a wonton soup with prawn and pork dumplings.Every dish sensational, but the wonton soup has to be the best I've ever had, the broth and mushrooms were fantastic and full of flavour.Sloshed it down with a lovely mocktail smoothie called the Hai Phong summer which was made with strawberries. So delicious and refreshing I had to order 2!My partner had the homemade lemonade and it was so good we instantly ordered another one of those as wellBy the end of it was so full, couldn't order anymore but will be returning every month to get my fix.I've eaten at a tonne of Vietnamese restaurants and Oren is one of my favourites.Ordered the super combo and the banh mi baguette to take away for some starving family members back home which made me very popular indeed. The menu is incredible good value for money and the food prepared was deliciousThere's a hand sanitiser as you walk in as well, and the tables are well spaced out and apparently there is seating outside too but it was a hot day so we stayed inside instead. Something to note - the car park is a bit finicky, and no longer accepts cash or at least when we went it didn't. No biggie and its fairly reasonable 1 hour is 70p and 2 hours is £1.30. Its an unfortunate necessary evil but not the restaurants fault as the car park is privately owned by those typical greedy companies. I'll accept it in order to get my viet fix!
