O'Neill's Sutton in Sutton

Came into O’Neill’s today for some lunch. Ordered a couple small plates, the calamari and chicken quesadilla. Food was really good and cooked by the chef, Meoir. I was served by Ryan on the bar. Very good customer service and very welcoming atmosphere. Will definitely be coming back

Visited O’Neill’s yesterday with some friends for some food and drink. We were served by Paige on the bar who made us feel very welcome. Our drinks were made and received efficiently and the food we ordered was delicious. The chef who made our food was Zaneta. Would definitely recommend O’Neill’s. We can’t wait to return!

Another brilliant Saturday in O'Neills watching the Quinns match, I've say it before and I'll say it again this pub has the best pint of Guinness you'll find in London & affordable at £5.10 a pint!!! Really well run with friendly customers and great bar staff!!! Thank you & will be back soon for more of the Black stuff!!

I have been coming here for lunch for years, and the service and food have consistently been very good. Never a long delay in being served or receiving food. Always light music on during daytime to create a nice atmosphere when sport is not on. Recommend this as one of the best chain pubs I've been to

Very welcoming by staff members! There is always something on every week which is so lovely. I got served by Kerri and Ryan on different occasions and they were very welcoming and had a lot of banter with me which made me feel even more welcome!!

The food in Oneils is fantastic, its the best in town and John is very helpful and friendly. All the bar staff are friendly and kind. It's a very pleasant pub to eat and drink in. I think I need to add that I've been in many times and all the staff are amazing, but Drew is outstanding and I would like to thank him for his fantastic assistance. The food is amazing in Oneils so I would also like to thank the chef and all the kitchen staff.

Reasonably priced for an O'Neils, great for the football and love the roof terrace. Staff are legendary and has a good community feel. Will definitely come back!

Been drinking in O’Neills for over 12 years and it is by far the best pub in Sutton, it has brilliant staff and a friendly bunch of regulars. Highly recommend!!

Just had a few beers in O'Neills, Sutton - it don't get much better for a chill out afternoon (sport of your choice) great beers, great staff, friendly atmosphere - "probably the best pub in Sutton" (even though they don't sell Carlsberg)!

Also as a female I feel very safe to come in on my own if waiting for a friend. We went last night and had an amazing evening with my partner. There was an incident as to where a heavily intoxicated woman came in and was immediately refused service in a professional manner. Hopefully she never plagiarises this business again with the nonsense she was spouting. Really friendly staff, great atmosphere and great tasting beer. Not much more that you could ask for except for except the exemption of your neanderthal type people (explained above) coming in trying to get served, which obviously the business is not at fault for in the slightest.

I was unprovokely attacked by member of staff, please investigate

I am writing a review as I have seen a lady has said she was attacked by a staff member last night and it’s completely ridiculous. I was standing near the bar and could hear her shouting abuse at John for not serving her as she was too drunk and she started shouting about Gaza. Then for some reason she tried to start filming John who was trying to get the phone out his face and telling her to leave and she only left once he threatened to call the police. Oneils is the best pub in sutton with the friendliest staff, I definitely don’t want lies spread about people.

Updating in recent years, I truly love this pub, A venue I've only been coming to in recent years after covid, and I've never felt more welcomed. Food is sublime and well crafted. Staff are welcoming and attentive, always aware of allergies with an efficient work ethic to compensate for the high traffic of patrons. The beer is highly suitable for your average punter and passerby. All keg, no cask beer unfortunately. Though alternatives are served via bottles. All in all, a worthy high street pub with plenty of entertainment and friendly demeanor.

Nice atmosphere. Has a small roof terrace which is great in the summer. Dog friendly until 19:00. Visited a few times, bar staff are also nice to chat with. A nice option for O2 free drinks Thursday.

I have moved here in the last year and it is such a great welcoming pub every time from the staff. The atmosphere is always great. Karaoke on Thursdays and good Bands on Fridays and Saturdays. I highly recommend this place for newcomers as a local now

Highlight: Dog friendly! Great little pub. Especially liked the hidden roof garden! Perfect chill time on a warm day. Staff friendly and served quickly. Will come again. Update 03/02/2024.... back again as in the area - last visit in the summer.. 100% happy and warm welcome received. Football is on, and it's busy but no wait at all, atmosphere is spot on... really need to come in more often! Spotted just before time to leave... this place is animal friendly... fantastic! First O'Neills I've ever been in that activley allows and even has treats for the furry friends. I hope to see dogs in here! 🥰. Really made my night seeing this - will have to return with the dog!

Last Night i had my Christmas Meal, there were 10 of us and we had the pre-ordered menu, The Food was good, my steak was really nice and cooked to request. The Brownie dessert i had was also very nice. We had 'Drew' serve us who was lovely - The Karaoke in the evening was good fun, Its a nice venue and really can't fault the evening, - Thank You O'Neill Team -

The pub was clean and the ambience was lovely for a quick afternoon catch up with my friend. Both staff (Barni & Lisa) were extremely kind and welcoming.

The wife and I were walking up the high street one day and suddenly became peckish, and I was feeling a pint of the Irish dark stuff. Where better to go than an Irish pub. Being my first time going in there I had no expectations other than a half decent Guinness. Firstly the Guinness was great, a smooth creamy pint of magic. However, I was more surprised about the food. The selection was great, the wait time was short and my taste buds thanked me for making the decision to go for a big burger with a side of nachos. The wife also loved her fish and chips with a nice crisp cider. The staff were lovely and accommodating. We got chatting and they told us that they have live music on the weekends and also play sport all week on their wide selection of TVs, something we will definitely be coming back for. Overall a cracking experience.

Really nice pub, lovely staff and great food and atmosphere. Me and my friend were sat in the beer garden upstairs and were given our food and drinks very promptly, and the staff were all very friendly.

Sad to say as the pub is nice and has a reasonable atmosphere but the draught lagers are rotten , it’s not hard to clean the lines , we moved to bottles as both Heineken and Camden hells were rotten, I’ve been a publican for 27yrs , 2 hours a week and this issue is sorted , denial is a sad excuse, own it and clean your lines,,,, We gave it a week and tried again last night !! Sadly the lager was even worse than last week , we won’t be coming back again , it’s a staple of Pub management to clean the beer lines , there is no excuse for this ! The Heineken was disgusting we returned the first two pints and the barman barely blinked , didn’t even speak when he replaced them with two equally bad pints , you may want to contact Tech services and get some Blitz line cleaner as your lines more than likely have a bad yeast infection , own up and get them cleaned

This is a really great pub with some really great bands on Fridays and Saturdays.

Great service and lovely food. We were a large group and expertly looked after by Andy and Ryan. The kitchen did a great job, the food was delicious and hot. Atmosphere was really good and karaoke great fun. One of the best places in Sutton in an evening.

No fireworks, but if you're in search of a decent place to plant your bottom to buy time with good company, decent cold beer on tap, then this place'll do.

Always enjoy Oneils. Good for a lunch and a pint or a great evening. Decent food, great drinks selection and the staff are brilliant. One of the few pubs you can actually still see some decent live music too

Went there Sunday to watch the football , people vaping in the back bar and not being challenged, had to leave and watch at a different venue

Hi went in for a Birthday Lunch treat from my partner. The only Gluten free was Cider not much of a choice didn't want a spirit. Had steak not to my liking. Staff offered to change meal. Will try again as only my 1st visit.
