As always the food was amazing and the staff are always welcoming and friendly. The portions were just right and the food was full of flavour. Highly recommend this place.

I'm not local but was in the area and fancied some curried chicken , luckily I found this place . The place was clean, friendly with a nice vibe and the food was as good . Presented well, a really large portion with loads of meat and sauce . A couple of slices of free plantain on the side , nice touch. If I was local it would be my go to , really good menu too . If I'm passing again I'll be back.

My go-to spot and I’m lucky enough to live just down the road. I switch between the oxtail and curry goat w/ rice and peas and a portion of festivals and they’re so consistent, never a bad batch. I’ve tried other spots in the nearby area and none compare! Great flavours and such value for money!

I have eaten in so many restaurants in the UK especially London but One Love has amazing taste. The Food is always fresh, portions are great, customer service is excellent and delivery is always on point. I highly recommend this place.

Jerk chicken rice and peas delicious

Went out for dinner with the family for a birthday celebration and the food was so nice. We had to preorder our meals for our reservation which made our experience in the restaurant so much more easier and pleasant. The food was amazing and filling, the portions are worth your money and the staff are so welcoming. Definitely will be going back.

Poor customer service and they lie a lot, to me it’s shocking how they have no shame in lying about delivery times and how they have 0 accountability when they mess up. Whoever works there now won’t go far in life with this attitude and it’s sad. I waited 2 hours for my food last week after I got told it would take maximum 1h30minutes and they told me to call them back which I did today and they said that they tell everyone that it can take up to 2 hours and the best thing they can do it’s that if I order again that they will deliver within one hour and 30 minutes. I just feel second hand embarrassment because people like this are painting a very bad picture for us black people. They need to do better!

Very disappointed in the food that I recieved. Over priced as a small piece of fish is £3.50 potion of rice was £10.50 whereas other west Indian food shops you can get a whole fish with rice and peas a lot cheaper and tastes a lot better.

Accidently bumped into this place today , foods amazing and will definitely be returning.

Really disappointed visited London for day , brought my Sunday dinner, brought ackee & saltfish, and jerk chicken, massive portion of rice, with an insulting portion of ackee & saltfish I have ever recieved, 6 small pieces of chicken which was all bone, never been so disrespected in my life,

Had a lovely experience at One Love and whilst the food was lovely (the jerk bagel with plantain in particular); the real standout was the staff. I did not have a chance to ask for names but also felt there was no need as every single member of staff I encountered was kind, friendly and very accommodating. I had a lovely experience and cannot wait to visit again!

The food is made with so much love. So a couple of months ago I went to this restaurant, only to find out they had ran out. However, the ladies behind the counter were so helpful, told me to ring on the morning so they could save what I wanted and then let me take a menu. Roll on to today, called up and spoke to a lovely lady who took my order, told me that the lovely Jermaine would be serving us that evening. Jermaine was just the nicest person to have ever served me food, honestly looked like he loved his job. The food was unreal, you could tell it had been made with so much love. The flavours were unreal and I left with a full and happy belly and it was very reasonably priced. I will defo be going back. Thanks Rebecca

I ordered 3 large chicken soups, this is the first time I’ve been to a carribean shop where the staff was friendly, with right amount of chicken, dumplings and potatoes. I waffed down the food so fast I forgot to take a picture. I live in Wanstead and will definitely be making the journey frequently to have their food. Pls don’t change!

We all had a lovely time and really enjoyed the tasty food 😊 at One love, the waitress who served us (I don't know her name unfortunately but I'm sure she knows who she is 😊) was really nice, patient and always had a smile on her face plus nothing was too much to do when we asked her, she also kept making sure we had everything. We went there for Mother's day and we all had a amazing time, the table was nicely done up and there were balloons all above our seating area which was a lovely touch. I certainly recommend going there for a lovely experience and delish food!! they also do delivery so if you are within their delivery zone try some of their food!! We will certainly be back for birthday celebrations throughout the year!

I would like to give one love in Romford a very big thank you. For seeing 100 people was feed. After we only gave them 24 hours notice to catered for over a 100 people.. The food was so nice that everyone went back for second helping.. Will aways go back to them for all my functions in further. A big hands up from all the Greaves and Mathurine family.

I have been eating in and taking out from one love for years and can honestly say its the best authentic Caribbean food iv eaten. I booked them for a very special occasion last week and from start to finish the service was unreal. Extremely professional, helpful and sympathetic with the circumstances and was an unbeatable price considering it was for 100 people. When they arrived for the service I didn't hear a peep out of them, they set up and served with no fuss or problems. You made it all that easier. Your team and food is impeccable. Firstly I would like to say the One Love owner is a lovely lady and the customer service here is great. I have been coming to One Love for many years so would like to call myself a regular customer. Unfortunately the last few times I have ordered the food standard has changed, I am a huge jerk chicken lover so tend to always order this, recently I have found the chicken to be dry and does not taste like it has been cooked on a Jerk Pan which I have always appreciated, the portion size of meat is not the same and I am always given breast whereas in the past it was always a leg and thigh (which is my personal preference). The BBQ wings are great and I'm sure many other things are too. I would give a high rating because I genuinely believe this may be a change in chef or ingredients so I hope this is seen as constructive and wish the business all the best always x

we love this place. Do recommend calling in advance to check what’s on the menu for the day as popular items sell out fast or not offered and there is no notice given unless you ask. Given the quality of food it won’t stop you from coming back. Only done takeaway.

But boy, If I could give One Love Caribbean restaurant more than five stars, I absolutely would! How am I buying a large curry chicken then it come like one kids meal, cool she fixed it and put more rice. Get home now me and my 3 year old son eating then his saying it’s very spicey dad, tell me why some put me extra chilli in my food the ting was HOT FOR MY mouth imagine my son. All because I ask for proper large lol try be wicked and put extra extra chilli. I won’t ever be buying food from you one love. Remember jah knows what wickedness you done.

Some of the items on the menu were no longer available (18:30)...therefore having to choose from a reduced menu and selecting what was not your first choice. Having said that the food was of a good quality...the fried dumplings were far too "sweet".

First time ordering from One Love, the Oxtail is amazing, cooked perfectly. The rice and peas taste just like home made. My son wasn't enjoying the hospital food and now he has tasted this he wants more. Portion size perfect and the price is good too. 10* The girl who took the order was so nice and patient as my reception was poor. The delivery driver was kind and friendly. Can't get better than this!!!! Will 100% order again before my son gets discharged from here.

Staff so polite food simply the best

We've ordered from here quite quite a few times since discovering in January 2023. We've also highly recommended to loads of people! The jerk chicken has always been lovely, until our most recent order yesterday. Which completely ruined things for us. All past orders the jerk chicken we have received was boneless thigh pieces with skin - this was not specifically requested so we presumed the normal standard and style of the restaurant. The meal was also served all together in a large black container with the jerk chicken, sauce, rice and peas and steamed veg. Absolutely nothing to complain about, it was honestly lovely! This time around we received the chicken in thigh/ leg pieces and chopped in a way that made getting the chicken off the bone extremely challenging. It was not tender or melt in mouth as has been our previous experience. Also, the jerk chicken was served in one container and the rice and peas/steamed veg in another. This meant the rice was extremely dry - and unfortunately hard in some places. We always order extra jerk sauce to wet the rice but even this wasn't enough. Also the jerk sauce with the chicken and the extra sauce ordered were a slightly different colour and consistency- nor did they taste the same. I'm writing this review in the hope the restaurant reverts to their previous standards as you really had nailed your jerk chicken!

Mix up over this takeaway order meant a wait of over an hour. Still, the food was good when it arrived.

First time ordering from this restaurant. Call handler was pleasant over the phone, unfortunately they didnt have the oxtail or curry goat so i opted for the jerk chicken and rice. Customer service was also good in person which iwas a bonus. The chicken and jerk sauce was full of flavour and the rice and peas where made just right. The whole meal was delicious. The dumplings were also great. Definitely coming back here and highly recommended for this area⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Just had two Fish Cakes at £1.50 each. I cannot begin to explain how EXTREMELY tasty these were. Compliments to the chef. Genuinely one of those best treats (if not the best) I've had in the last 20 years of living in East London. I won't lie, if it wasn't for my diet, I'd eat 6 of them. My mouth is still watering. Ordered the jerk chicken and oxtail. Was really tasty and good portion size. Was disappointed that plantains were not available on the day, and the meal didn't come with any sides, just rice. Also difficult to find parking nearby.

I recently used One Love Caribbean catering services for a funeral wake. The staff and service provided were very professional, well organised and the food was received well by attendees.
