On A Roll in Lisburn

First visit today.. I know it's crazy but there's always been a que when I drive by and haven't had time to stop. So today I decided it was time to wait and I'm so glad I did. Friendly staff, fast service so I wasn't waiting long at all, fresh ingredients and amazing Christmas Sandwich to get into the festive spirit!!! Will defo be back.. Thanks guys 👌🏼

Who knew that sticking a fry up in a bap was a thing... and that it works so well?! Christmas breakfasts had this morning. A lot of happy people. Thick cut bacon was divine, yummy sausages, fresh egg ... just great. They were even happy to add/ take stuff out. We’ll be back 😃

I have been going to on a roll for a long time now. The staff are lovely and Kevin always has a smile and a joke. Everything is so fresh and tasty. This place has kept me sane over these last few months. Kevin has delivered my coffee and lunch which has been great as I have been shielding. Visited today for the first time for lunch as we wanted to try somewhere different from our usual place in the town and we got lovely sandwiches freshly made to order. Wide variety of fillings to choose from. They also do wraps, paninis, toasties, baguettes, salad bowls, filled belfast baps, soup, sausage rolls etc. Would come back again as sandwiches were lovely and fresh.

I visited this Takeaway (Cafe?) early this morning for a breakfast snack - with the intention of "sitting-in". However, there was only one small table - and it would have been like sitting in a "Goldfish Bowl"; too intrusive/open and draughty beside the front entrance. I ordered a sausage roll and because there was only one other customer, I was served very promptly. The price was more reasonable than I expected. The gentleman "server" was personable and friendly - and the Takeaway hygiene seemed to be of a high order. Decor - appropriate for a takeaway. I decided to eat the sausage roll in my car, which was parked close by (the takeaway has a free, small car park and is "on the level" - suitable for wheelchair users). The sausage roll was very tasty - one of the best that I've had from a takeaway or cafe; however, it was "luke-warm" when I started eating it - and cold by the time that I had finished it! I phoned the "server" (Gavin?) when I got home - and he was very understanding/apologetic (and customer-orientated); he offered to give me a FREE sausage roll - the next time that I was in. "Full marks"! It has a wide variety of sandwiches, subs, filled rolls and baps (e.g. "breakfast in a bap"). All "top quality". The locals use it a lot (it's very popular for "takeaways"). T/N 028 9267 7486. Open 8 am - 3 pm (M - F) 9 am - 5 pm Sat. Closed on Sundays. Recommended.

Came across this little gem today because we took a wrong turn and were we glad we did. Small sandwich, sub, panini place. Have to say neither of us had ever had a sandwich and a panini like it. Absolutely filled to capacity and bakery fresh bread. Judging by the number of office staff, drivers and manual workers coming and going seems we were the only newbies.
