Had a great meal and lovely friendly staff. One of our party has a prawn allergy and the chef changed the dish to suit her.Excellent service and beautiful meal. We will definitely return.

Fantastic food and staff! Peter and his wife were at the restaurant this evening and made us feel incredibly welcome. Would highly recommend this place.

Sunday dinner was ok, two roast dinners a bit basic and could do with a bit of a boost. Other meals were nice but the roasts let them down. Room for improvement here but great customer service

Food was absolutely outstanding. Recommend the pasta which was delicious and very filling. Service was amazing very friendly and attentive. If your ever in the area would recommend stopping by you wont regret it!

Super cozy spot with amazing food for a good price

Had a wonderful date night experience at Oliver’s. First time here, super cute place. The outdoor area was adorable! Will have to sit out there next time. We were served by Curtis and he was 10/10 amazing. Gave great recommendations on food and wine. Told him we are new to the area from the states and he gave us great recommendations on Northern Ireland. He was a GEM. We both had fish and chips (delicious) and ended the night with a great creamy espresso martini. Enjoyed our time. Thanks for having us :)

Came in with my son for dinner. He had a kids fish and chips and I had the special (steak pie). Both were beautiful. I’m looking forward to coming back for an adult portion of the fish. Thank you!

Table was not clean asked two different people if it could be cleaned food was not great girlfriends food was cold then when we asked for the bill we where offered complimentary drinks or dessert but the waiter never came back to take the order so we had to go in and pay the meal.will never be back very disappointed

My son was treating me for my birthday. We have had many lovely meals here in the past but tonight was a disaster. My starter included asparagus except there was no asparagus when it arrived! My sons short rib beef was tough to the extent he couldn’t cut into it. He ordered a burger which was very average. My fish was thin and the batter far from crisp. The chips were excellent. When the bill arrived the short rib was charged for and no wine was included in the bill. A total shambles.

I am reviewing our latest visit only as normally we enjoy a nice evening here and things go well in all aspects. However, staff are the making of a hospitality business. The staff here are great but they were totally overwhelmed. Felt sorry for them, but we left as it became embarrassing. We will be back, but not for a while.

I really wanted to give this place a good review because the service and employees are nice. That's why it's 2 stars and not 1. The food on the other hand... Let's start with the carrot and ginger soup. 0 taste of carrot or ginger. It tasted like Lidl brought 90p generic canned soup. No amount of salt helped the taste. Veggie burger: very boring and bland burger. The patty was awful and tasted weirdly sweet. The cheese was a 0.1mm thick slice. No tomato, no onions or gherkins in the burger. It also tasted dry. The chips were fine. Battered fish: VERY oily, but otherwise fish tasted acceptable. I get better in a chippy. Sticky toffee pudding: again, keeping with the Lidl theme it felt like I ate a pudding from there. Very boring presentation, the pudding was "okay". My wife had stuffed mushrooms as well. It was again soaking in oil, and tasted bland. Not sure what else to say. The staff was accommodating and very kind, but the food was awful. Please change either the recipes or improve the ingredients. We'll not be back in the foreseeable future, there're better places around.

I chose here because reviews said it was excellent for vegan/vegetarian options. We found this true of the starters, but not of mains. The food was good, but not exceptional.

Staff are very easy-going and friendly, I asked to change a few things on my dish and they were so helpful! Very conscious of my dietary / allergy requirements. Staff were also very chatty with customers so they definitely have lots of regulars. Food was absolutely delicious. I ordered the Duck Breast and my friend had the Burger. “Best in Belfast,” in his own words. The restaurant itself is nice and cosy, well-decorated both inside and outside. Honorable mention to the music too, which is always right for the occasion. A real gem this side of town, must try if in Belfast!

Excellent 🤩 from cocktails to desserts, 3 courses each of us, everything was delicious, staff welcoming pro and friendly, service super efficient we didn’t wait about for anything. 🍸Started with a pineapple punch and carried on with a cosmo The soup 🥣 of the day was great, the mushrooms toast was amazing and I’m not usually a big fan of mushrooms 🍄 but if you are like me give it a go. Got the duck 🦆 for the main and my partner got the chicken 🍗 . The portion of fries on the side was salted and crispy ✨ Finished with an apple 🍎 crumble for dessert and 🍰 sticky toffee pudding for myself. Honestly I don’t even know how I ate all of each plate but everything was delicious and didn’t event felt heavy leaving the table. Well fed and happy tho 😊 Nice indoor / outdoor space 🌹cozy and romantic 🥰 with these wee patio guirlande lights and outdoor heating if chilly temperatures 🌡️

Me and my wife had a lovly time there on sunday. Food was excellent complent to the chef alex i think and wine was amazing from stephiney lovly wiaiteress and a big thank u to the lovly jorden the manager

The go to place for a girly night out dinner. Early evening menu is good value and you can swop the complimentary glass of wine for a coffee if you are driving. Staff very helpful and friendly.

Sunday lunch with family was really good value and good quality. The roast beef special was the nicest roast beef I have had in a long time. Soft and tender. The potatoes, veg and gravy were also fantastic. Desserts were lovely although my mousse seemed to have a dollop of cream cheese on top instead of clotted cream. Staff were polite and helpful and seated us in a spot convenient to keep our buggy alongside the table. Highly recommend and will be back for many more Sunday lunches in future.

This is the second time we’ve eaten here. Had the Sunday roast it was absolutely delicious.

Recently went, food was great! We were eating during a lull period but staff were very friendly about it, explaining why. Never got a chance to photo the beef or scallops, demolished. But the bread was super tasty, the Wheaton especially.

Food was overpriced for the small portion size and nothing special in my opinion I eat all my food in less than 5 mins I had one glass of wine and a main and it was £30 the main was smaller than a starter

Fantastic food and great atmosphere and service

Brilliant service and food in a beautiful restaurant. The chicken burger was incredible and the honey butter fries a revelation. Staff couldn't do enough for us and had lots of fun with our two little girls. Highly recommend and will be back

I haven't been to oliver's for quite some time as I find the food mediocre at best. A family member booked it for a special occasion and I couldn't really decline. We where seated at the kitchen door which opened and closed throughout our meal which isn't ideal. I had the curry which had a few pieces of chicken., loads of sweet corn, green veg and for some bizarre reason lettuce. It was presented in a bowl and was tasteless. Definitely won't be back far better food in other establishments

I would have expected a restaurant to serve fresh chips not frozen ones. Cutting corners to save money costs more in the end.

Was so disappointed in the food. Had the lamb burger and it was swimming in sauce and cheese. For the price I was expecting so much better.

Pub grub menu at restaurant quality price. Main course choice very limited to mainly burgers and fish and chips. Overpriced, won't be back.

We all had the salmon and it was perfectly cooked,only complaint could have done with a bit more! Lovely glass of Shiraz wine. Waitress was very nice.

Got a chip still frozen in my parmesan fries and a hard disc of burnt rice on the bottom of the bowl in the salmon special. Disappointing.

First time to dine here. From sitting down to paying the bill we had a first class experience. Food was superb, really tasty and well presented complemented by great service. My only slight criticism was menu choices were limited. More options would have been good. Overall a great experience which I would recommend to others and will do again myself.

Excellent meal, great service Back may 23, service same high level, lost two stars as meal at a much reduced quality level with poorer choice. Also appreciate we are in financial hard times but charging 15p for hot milk for my wife americano us a first and reflects how the restaurant is now run Not be back for a while that's for sure

Visiting N.I and wanted to go to our friend's Sunday roast spot because of the hype. Certainly didn't disappoint! The toast beef was superb as was the nemesis for dessert. Completely recommend - if the owners ever fancy opening in Glasgow then it would be much appreciated!

First time eating here, three of us had a beautiful meal and delicious drinks, staff are really lovely. The restaurant has a number of indoor and outdoor sections, although we sat outside it is enclosed and heated, very welcoming and comfortable. The food was delicious and plentiful and the cocktails were, not only tasty, but hmm strong. We will definitely be back.

Last minute booking on a Sunday afternoon . All 3 mains dishes were delicious, particularly the Sunday roast brisket. Spacious restaurant able to accommodate our pram.

One of our favourite Ballyhack restaurants, Oliver’s always delivers excellent dishes using locally sourced ingredients matched with an inventive cocktail list, and quality wines, all at affordable prices. We started with a couple of great cocktails, a treacly Veda Toast Old Fashioned, and a blast from the past, I’m Blue ( Da-Ba-Dee-Da-Ba-Da)! You’ll be humming that all day now!! To start, the Asian Crispy Shrimps with Bok Choi, & Sesame Wasabi Mayo were a spicy delight, and the Smoked Salmon & Mackerel on Potato Pancake with Fromage Blanc & Cress, and the Sweet Potato Croquettes with Pomegranate, Balsamic & Sultanas were also delicious. For our mains, we had Chicken Supreme with Carrot Purée, Balsamic Onions, Pancetta & Sauté Potatoes, Duo of Salmon & Cod with Broccoli, Spinach, Tomato, & a Clam & Prawn Beurre Blanc, and a Sunday Roast Special of Slow Cooked Brisket with Yorkshire Pudding, Roasties, Mash, Seasonal Vegetables and Jus. Great food, great service, and great value for money.

I come from Poland, I've been here for 7 years and I haven't eaten such good food yet in Northern Ireland, I have never eaten such a good steak! Plus a beautiful restaurant, very nice ladies who work there! Even though I live far from this place, I will visit it!! I recommend it with all my heart! Well done to the cook!💪

Went in for dinner tonight. I had the sea bass my husband had the ham, both really enjoyed our meals. Service was quick and friendly. Espresso martini was lovely.

Olivers is a lovely restaurant to sit in for a few hours and relax. It is a great escape to sit back and relax in, along with an amazing meal. Olivers provide a good list of courses, numerous which can be 'veganised'. The staff are also extremely nice and are fun to communicate with and are very helpful if you need any assistance or if you want to customise an order to your own preferences.

Had fish cake from lunch menu. Whilst it was lovely there I feel it was really small for the price.

Just been for bottomless lunch. Food fantastic (burger is absolutely huge) service and staff even better! We were never stuck for a top up on prosecco and staff went out of their way. Highly recommend. 🥂

Varied menu, well delivered. Covered area meant we were happy to eat there. Table quite near to heater worked well - pleasant temperature but not blasted by heat.
