Olivers Kebab House in High Peak

Phoned explaining wrong kebab sent was told they don’t do kebab ordered .Who would know you can only have what they send and not what is on the online menu,fries atrocious,never again

Ordered over the phone and got a different order. When I called back to explain they were completely uninterested and refused to rectify the mistake. Food rubbish also. Do not order from here

my qualifications for this review? I eat takeaway all the time and have eaten everywhere in town except one place if you think I'm wrong please reply so we can discuss further anyways on to the review the chips are probably the best in town the mozzarella sticks are pretty good but the pizza (in my experience) was pretty much just cheese there was a tiny bit of bread and pretty much no sauce and SO MUCH CHEESE I love cheese but this was just absurd like take a pizza pie and then turn 95% of the bread and sauce into cheese but the sides are so fantastic so if your out and looking for some chips or mozzarella sticks or like pretty much any side get Oliver's if your looking for a pizza I would recommend charcoal grill, charcoal grill has in my opinion the best pizza in town and fantastic potato wedges SUMMARY: if you want pizza go to charcoal grill if you want chips go to Oliver's and if you want potato wedges go to charcoal

Served me a gone off chicken buger, it was genuinely grey! I went in the next day to question the manager and he stated that "there out of the freezer meat doesn't go off in the freezer" my compaint was laughed of. It made me very poorly. I think the staff need to do a food hygiene course. Also in the front counter as he was telling me all the meant was fresher I noticed the burger mince had started to turn brown, but felt to cheeky to take a picture, Also alot of flys in there and no food efficiently covered.

Honesty can't say I've ever had a better cheesy chip. Puts those hooligans who don't melt their cheese to shame. One of few good things about Buxton.

Ordered chicken bacon and pieapple pizza. Friendly on the phone. Arrived quickly and was piping hot. Plenty of toppings and a nice crispy base. Will defo order again. No complaints.

Ordered pizza from Oliver’s whilst staying at Longnor Wood Holiday Park. Pizzas were lovely and lots of it - similar to a pizza pie than deep pan, we couldn’t finish it all and had it for lunch the next day! Also ordered fries, onion rings, and garlic sauce which was all also really nice. Free garlic bread was a great added bonus! Service really nice, rang before they were leaving and arranged to collect from the driver at reception.

Ordered a garlic bread and they basically gave me a slap of doh, absolutely inedible and will never visit again

Met a mate of mine in Buxton for a few bevvies and we decided to get a kebab (like you do), so went to Olivers on the Market Place. This is the first time ever I’ve not been able to eat a kebab. Awful meat that tastes like it is made of mainly meal. Will never go back.

Chicken was thin slices and dry and over cooked. The salad was very lacking just lettuce and onions dumoed on top of chicken and wrapped in paper making poor salad soggy.

Olivers is for sure the best pizza place in town. Pizzas are large and filling with generous toppings. Unlike dominoes where you have to pay for each topping.

If you are hungry with not much money in your pocket then Olivers is for you. Good food and big portions. The pizzas are fat, the kebabs are fat and very filling. They are also usually the last place open in Buxton too and deliver so great for late night food.

The best and biggest kebabs ever. I get a special kebab on naan bread. Absolutely massive and gorgeous with chilli sauce on. A good belly filler for a good price.

Olivers are certainly great value with decent portions. Located on Buxton market place they do take away and deliveries. They are not the highest quality around but they are the best value and you get a lot for your money. Their kebabs are lamb meat and very tasty.

Frequently visit this place post pub and the food and service are always great. Veggie pizza is great value as is the chip naan!

Working unsociable hours ata local restaurant sometimes when I finish work I can't face cooking food, and Olivers are always on hand. Their Mega cheeseburger is nothing but mega, and we love their cheesy chips. I'm not sure what they put in their garlic mayo but it's by far the best I've ever tasted. The food (burgers, kebabs, chicken wings) is always great and so are the staff. Thank you

Decor leaves a little to be desired but Olivers is a long-standing favourite in Buxton for Kebabs and Pizza. Popular at mealtimes and with the 'after-pub' crowd. They deliver free in Buxton if your order comes to more than £7. Prices are good, portions are substantial.

Called for a 14 inch fully loaded pizza. Blooming marvellous. Really great food and loved it. Even got some left for tomorrow lol. But, the free garlic bread needed longer in the oven. It was inedible. Such a shame when the pizza itself earned max points. Ttfn.

Ordered a pizza and kebab to feed the family whilst staying at Lime Trees Caravan Park. Service was polite and quick. Food was lovely and reasonably priced. Need a marked delivery vehicle as I saw the Delivery guy keep driving round the site but I wasn't sure if he was the pizza guy.

Después de haber probado la mayoría de los sitios de comida para llevar local siempre vamos a Olivers para pizza, el domicilio (rápidamente) La comida es siempre caliente cuando llegue y realmente a un precio razonable. Nunca he tenido una mala experiencia y hemos estado teniendo como una pizza de lujo para llevar Olivers por unos 8 años!

Para llevar ordenados desde aquí y el chico en el teléfono era muy agradable y amable. La comida llegó en el momento indicado. Fantástico, como nuggets de pollo casero. El precio era alto. Definitivamente de nuevo

Para ser sinceros, todo lo demás estaba cerrado y yo tenía hambre. Me mantuvieron de hambrientos, pero fue decepcionante. Buxton no es un lugar bullicioso. Desde redondeadas a 2,5 estrellas.

Comprar una pizza grande tras una noche con algunos amigos, la pizza estaba caliente y grandes (varios de nosotros compartir) pero fue corto en coberturas (poco mezquino), y sabía bastante soso. Parecía que había un montón de queso y tomate no mucho, y como ya...

Tenía un pollo Tikka Kebabs! Por lejos la mejor comida que he probado nunca pero al mismo tiempo no lo peor. No me impresionó como la más higiénicamente para llevar!

On my regular jolly night out I felt like something different and found olivers, nice jacket potatoes with loads of toppings if the usual kabab or pizza doesnt tickle your fancy

We have favoured the pizza from here for a long time. Never found better ones. Lovely staff too. Prices are good.

I find the staff very friendly and chatty here. Delivery service is good too. My favourite is a pizza with chicken bacon and mushroom. Also lovely chicken kebab with lettuce and lemon when watching the calories. Always my first choice for a kebab house. Very good

Kebabs are pretty much what they are and normally purchased due to alcohol impacting normal rational decision making. This place is soul less and the service is pretty un welcoming without even a thank you for patronising.
