Poorly managed restaurant. Service was shocking which is such a shame as the food was really good. Staff all over the place and no one seems to know what each other are doing. It seems they book more tables than they can handle. Was contacted THREE times to ensure we were coming prior to our reservation which seemed unnecessary.

We had a great family meal for our daughters baby reveal! The staff were wonderful as was the food. Even the staff were excited about the gender reveal. Thanks for making a special day to remember 💖

Me and my partner last visited Olive Tree back in July 2023 and was very pleased with our visit so we decided to come here for our anniversary dinner in August 2024. We were not as pleased with our recent visit. This place has a lovely atmosphere and the server who greeted us and took us to our table was very polite. This however is where the good ends. There is a decent amount of choice on the menu even for my partner who is a vegan. I ordered the “Olive Tree burger” and my partner ordered the “Beyond Meat” burger which is the same thing was ordered last time we came. We also decided to order the vegan garlic bread. After about a 20 minute wait, we got our garlic bread but they brought us one with cheese which was not suitable for my partner. They were very apologetic and brought us a regular garlic bread soon after. We waited an hour for our burgers which is quite a wait on a Thursday evening and it wasn’t particularly busy in the restaurant. When the food finally came, we both agreed it wasn’t as good as last time we came, possibly an off day for the chef. We finished our meal and pondered whether to order dessert or not but after we waited over 15 minutes for our plates to be cleared away, all while two servers were cleaning empty tables around us. We decided not to give this place any more of our service and had to go up to the bar to request the bill. They did forget to add the 10% service charge though so this could possibly been an admittance of their poor service. Great atmosphere but very long wait for mediocre food with poor service, will not be returning in a hurry

We have visited for bottomless brunch today and had a fabulous time. We were served by a lovely girl called Lacey who went above and beyond. The best service and would definitely visit again. Such great value for money too. Thank you so much!

A lovely restaurant and nice location. Thomas, the waiter, was working alone, i.e. taking orders, serving orders, taking payments etc. etc. We had to wait quite a while for our food to be delivered. I had the Plant based Mousakka, which supposedly had layers of potatoes, aubergines, courgettes, red peppers, tomato-braised lentils. All I could find was a layer of mashed potato and a few lentils. It was very tasty but that doesn't excuse the fact that the majority of the ingredients seemed to be missing. We did complain to Thomas, who shrugged his shoulders and nothing else!!!! Certainly not worth the money. Also, on checking our bill when we got home, found that we had been overcharged by £2 on the bottle of wine!!

Myself and my partner visited today for lunch. We are fairly regular here and never have a bad word to say. Today we were served by Dylan & Tom who greeted us with smiles and were attentive and polite throughout our stay. We both opted for the Gyros and asked for some amendments to be made which they did without issue and all the food arrived promptly and was lovely as ever.

Food was delicious, compliments to the chef. My lamb fell off the bone, roar potatoes and veg were delicious. Service from Dylan and Tom was first class, attentive and polite.

Arrived without a reservation, but easily accommodated and seated at a table in a good location, perfectly suited to our needs (4 adults, 3 children). Service was quick and efficient and all food was as ordered and delicious. Tom and Dylan looked after us throughout and were helpful with the food and drinks orders. Overall, good value and great quality food. Would recommend.

We had a lovely lunch! The young man and woman who served us were excellent, very pleasant friendly and efficient and they made our experience a very positive one. We had 3 tapas/meze type starters to share which were halloumi with honey, gigante beans and also meatballs, we ordered extra pitta bread to mop up; they were all very tasty. After that we each had a gyro which come with fries, I had pork and my partner had chicken. Both were large and had plenty of meat, plenty of fries and they tasted delicious. When we finished we were full! The prices were reasonable, the food was good and the service was excellent. We will certainly go back.

Second visit but still disappointed. First time we gave it the benefit of the doubt however today reinforced our opinion that food here is very bland and tasteless. We had the Metaxa Chicken dish and the Burger. Both dishes lacked the flavours you'd expect and anticipate. Neither dish offered value for money and the wait was excessive. Some say third time lucky but in our case we won't be returning.

Visiting from London and if you’re not familiar with Lytham you MUST visit The Olive Tree Brassie We was greeted on arrival by Kane who showed us to our seat with the option of inside or on the terrace - pick the terrace absolutely BEAUT!! I’ve now become a regular at this restaurant. Great food, friendly staff, dog friendly. Always a good range of vegetarian food and not just the normal boring veggie pasta dish. Staff are always lovely and if you follow the social media pages we always get some great deals too. My only negative is the veggie option on the kids menu but previously the chef has done us a kids size portion of an adult choice so it’s not even really a negative. The decor is lovely, tables well set out and spaced well. Nice terrace area. Definitely recommend

This was our first visit. First impressions were good (apart from the chap smoking at the entrance who didn’t want to let us through) and the welcome was warm and friendly. Our waiter was lovely ( I didn’t catch his name) and service throughout was excellent from all the staff. The food was really good- my children kebab tasted lovely- just the right amount of herbs- and the seasoned fries were fantastic. It was nice to be offered half portions of rice and fries as I couldn’t decide which to have. . My husband’s Beef Stifado was full of flavour and very tender, but he wasn’t thrilled with the Greek potatoes ( down to his taste and no reflection on the potatoes themselves) but he enjoyed some of my fries. Overall it was a really good experience and I would certainly go again. It’s not cheap,but it is very good and the menu does offer some very interesting and unusual options. Drinks are expensive, but it is Lytham! It was very noisy by the time we left around 8.30 but that was just one group of men drinking at the bar. The service alone would make me happy to recommend Olive Tree.

I went for a drink on my own on an evening. The GM Faye was unbelievably accommodating, she introduced me to he Bar manager Tom who looked after me the whole evening. The entire experience was uplifting. To be fair the rest of the town was pretty dull. The Olive tree was definitely the place to be.

On our booking we ask for a quiet table as our mum has dementia and becomes overwhelmed with loud noise and a crowd. The staff were AMAZING with us, sat us in the private dining room on our own, they were attentive without being over bearing. The food was amazing and fresh. We had a lovely relaxing afternoon with our mum, thank you so very much for helping us make these memories with our mum.

Came here for mothers day with my family. My roast dinner had a hair in it, I let the waitress know and she took it away quickly. A manager came over to apologise and also add that nobody in the kitchen has hair so they have no idea where it came from (felt like I was being blamed). We were enjoying our drinks and chatting, the waitress came over and explained she needed the table back for the next booking. Then the bill came, I had paid a £40 deposit that hadn't been taken off, I told the waitress and she said no problem and took it off at the table - at this point felt like they were trying to have one over on me. As other mothers were having their gifts that were included brought to them whilst enjoing their meal, my mum had to ask for hers as we were leaving because the waitress didn't give it to her. I honestly wish I hadn't paid the 10% service charge but as a previous waitress myself I felt obliged to. I have visited before and everything was wonderful but felt very let down on this occasion.

This has been rated my favourite restaurant for years until this year. A group of us visited in January for a special birthday. Food was just ok but the service was poor. I had to keep asking for more drinks and then ask for the table to be cleared after half an hour of waiting. We've also been having Mai Tai's here for years and they suddenly changed the ingredients! Fast forward to a Sunday teatime booking last week. The food in my opinion is not of the same quality. The service was as bad, if not worse than in January. It was that bad I refused to pay the service charge. Its such a shame but I won't be returning.

Visited OT at Lytham today for a lunch for my birthday. It's the first time my wife and I have visited this branch of OT, although we had been to the Preston branch quite often, before it closed down. We were immediately impressed by how nice it was inside and how attentive the staff were. Thoroughly enjoyed our 2 course lunch....not enough room for desserts, the food was great, much better than I remember it at Preston, and the portions were very generous. The manager, Faye, runs a very efficient and organised team, we would like to thank the staff for such lovely service. I had a query with my Olive Tree VIP card, as it hadn't been used for some time, and Faye quickly resolved the issue. We would not hesitate to pay another visit, safe in the knowledge that we would be met with the same standard of service as we received today.
