Pensé que 2020 no podría ser mucho peor, pero luego pedí comida para llevar de Old Town y me di cuenta. . . . ¡sí pueden! Sosa, insípida y la dura y seca excusa para el pollo era tan mala que incluso mi gato (que a veces come su propio enfermo) se negó a comerlo.Ahora estoy sentada en el baño con diarrea después de comer solo una pequeña cantidad de comida del casco antiguo. ¡Me alegro de no haberlo terminado, o estaría sentado aquí toda la noche!

Buena comida y buen servicio, pero la comida es picante. Todos en esta familia comen comida picante, pero al pedir las papas fritas de sal con salsa de curry, todas nuestras bocas están tan adoloridas por la comida tan picante. . . simplemente no lo hagas tan caliente! ?

Delivered well within stated time... Chicken and beef dishes 10 out of 10. Although I thought the rice was included.... It was not... Can't fault the taste though ...will use these again for sure.

Chose this for its high ratings. Took 1 hr 40mins from ordering on a wednesday night, rice wasnt fully cooked and greasy, chili chips were greasy. Chow mein was nice and so were mini spring rolls. They did give us some free fortune cookies. Delivery man was friendly. £18 minimum order is abit steep for 2 people plus the £2 delivery

This is the first time we've ordered from this Chinese and unfortunately we won't be ordering again. The chicken in both of our meals was tough and chewy. When the food arrived it was cold. Quite pricey compared to most local takeaways and not great quality I'm afraid.

Wow so good the food is truly amazing always arrives hot the flavours are just better than anywhere else I moved a couple miles away about 2.8 and the food still comes hot and just really really nice can't say enough

Only downfall is the high minimum spend as well as the large delivery charge. You should have one or the other, not both. Apart from that, best food around :D

Was very impressed with the quality of the food the first time we ordered and haven't had a Chinese from anywhere since. Chicken was good quality and the chilli salt ribs delicious! This time, was a little disappointed as the food arrived within 15 minutes of ordering and was obviously just heated up and the chicken was tough. Would still order again as every other time, the food has been spot on!!

Incredibly quick service (we did order early in the evening, but even so) and very tasty food. You can't really ask for more.

The noodle dishes were outstanding however the satay + szechuan chicken dishes were a little too watery. Will definitely give this place another go!

Had never tried this takeaway before but it was great. Delivery was quick and even turned up earlier than we had requested it. The food was brilliant and there was plenty of it. We really enjoyed it and are glad we have some leftovers. Would definitely order from here again.

Horrendous experience...food took an hour and a half to arrive and when it did it tasted sub-standard rottin fish! Avoid at all costs!!!

Chicken fried rice was gluepy,chips seemed cooked more than once and spare ribs was 90% fat and bones,very disappointed.

This is a very good and friendly Chinese takeaway, always happy to help and will accomodate most request s if unhappy. They remember you as a customer and the food is very generous portions.

The good was really dry and had no taste I put it all in the bin. The time taken fr delivery was really quick which was the best part. I would not be going back

Not the best this time. Usually I order chilli & Salt prawns and roast duck fried rice with spare ribs and that has always been excellent, but I tried something different this time and was disappointed. I had the special fried rice and roast duck in black bean sauce and both dishes were not impressive. The special fried rice had only 2 king prawns, 3 small pieces of chicken, 1 small piece of beef and 1 small piece of pork in it - the rest was just vegetables in a thin watery sauce. Not worth £5.75 by any means. The duck dish came with slightly more meat but the sauce was too thin and watery. The ribs were good as usual. I will continue to order from Old Town but only the dishes that I normally get. If I want different dishes sadly I will have to try a different takeaway.

Best Takeout I've had in a long time!

Sweet and sour chicken and chow mein had overpowering taste of vinegar, while the BBQ sauce for the ribs was like gravy. Disappointing.

I had been using the same Chinese takeaway for years but it changed hands a few months ago and the quality has really deteriorated. I am trying a few new ones until I find one that stands out so this was my first experience of Old Town. I had the dry spare ribs with salt & chilli which were nice but some of them were VERY fatty. I then had a chicken curry. The sauce was thin and pretty tasteless. The chicken was the worst I've ever had. It was tough and rubbery. The chips were JUST about passable but not great. I won't be going back.

Fab food. Second time I've ordered from old town and I have been extremely happy on both occasions. Will be ordering from there again.

The meal was lovely but the syrup from the fritters leaked all into my bag and all over my car seat witch now has left a big stain. Very unhappy with the bill to remove the stain

Great chicken curry n special fried rice. Hour delivery time was the only negative

Superb delivery, very hot and well packaged. Food was not great though, it contained great ingredients, lots of meat, prawns etc. but all of the sauces tasted the same and were very watery - except the hot and sour soup which for some reason had been thickened to the point it was a jelly like gloop. More judicious use of corn flour needed... Not an experience I'd repeat.

Good food,very tasty but I will say the spare ribs can be abit fatty,apart from them its very good food.
