Chop & Wok in Birmingham

First time ordered from here. Menu pretty standard but with Health Box choices. My wife had this and it looked and tasted awful. Chinese chips are one of the worst I have had. Ordered egg fried rice but not delivered. My curry was very tasty but lacked chicken, shame about the rest. Delivery was quick

Dont listen to the haters ive ordered from here at least 15 times, and food is always earlier than stated, its piping hot and extremeley tasty. The 2 woks and platter combo is great value for money.All the family enjoy the food and my daughter is a fussy eater

Took forever to arrive and the food was cold, the delivery driver had no manners and didn't apologise for us having to wait almost 2 hours for our food, had to warm everything back up. Food is normally ok but this time it looked as if no care had been in its preparation at all.. was really disappointed.

This was actually the worst take away in the history of time. It took 2 hours to arrive and was freezing cold. Called the restaurant 5 times and the guy was so rude and laughed and told me he didn't know where it was or when it left. He also read out every other order including name and delivery address... Quite disturbing... It was vile too.

I went today because I was hungry and they looked as if they didn't know what they where doing to the point I had to ask is this a new business, the hygiene standards are low, his handling my money then touching his face then touching my chicken wrap! No blue gloves! No hand wash! Nothing. Never again that's why it was empty in there

Delivered 25 minutes late and cold on delivery won't be using again

Food isn't what it used to be like. Chicken Satay was dry and cold, as was the Wok Noodles. Not impressed for the price.

Been waiting over an hour and a half for the food, is now showing as delivered and it hasn't been. Staff on the phone clearly didn't want to talk and got rid of me as quickly as possibly. Wouldn't order again if they paid me! Shame I can't give 0 stars

Waited over an hour after having confirmation of order being received. Rang to see how long the delivery was going to be and got told they hadn't received order. Will not be ordering from there again!!!

Noodles were so spicey is distracted from any flavour and they were quite greasy. Platter had some nice elements but also some glands ones

Fantastic food. But they missed an item off my order and I wouldn't mind but I paid £3 delivery on top of my order. Also said they'd redeliver my missing item but they haven't.

This is my Second Time ordered from food is really good, 30-40 mins delivered from ordering from JUST EAT App had 2 x Panko Coated Squid Rings (lovely), and Roast Duck Wrap, (big and filling) had to call Chop & Wok, as Spicey Beef in Black Bean Sauce Noodles, the Beef was not edible (really tough and solid and struggled to cut a small piece with a steak knife (left all the meat) so called Chop & Wok and they will refund or will give a free replacement on next order (chose to have replacement on next order) proof that the food is good normally, they were very apologetic and was happy to resolve the problem, which is the best thing to do and not write a bad review better to let them know and resolve so highly recommend good food and good service will be ordering again soon

1st time ordered really good service they called to check and food delivered within 30 minutes ordered Hoi Sin Udon noodles, Roast Duck Stir Fry wrap and Panko Coated Squid Rings Thai Fishcakes all of it was top quality and really freshly cooked A1 food and service defiantly order again and recommend

Noodles was good with plenty meat but ramen was far too spicy took all taste away and had barely any chicken or noodles in. The prawn toast was nice - as I'd hope it would be for such small portion. Taking of small portions my main issue was the ice cream. Now I ordered from here over a year ago, beautiful food and had ice cream (large to share) too. This time I paid £4.50 for ice cream - normal price for large tube of Ben and Jerry's - how ever it arrived and was a small 100ml tub! Ridicules! I phoned Restaurant and they did agree it was ridicules but their supplier insisted it was an ok amount to charge... It's extremely misleading as all other restaurants online offer the large size for same Price. Delivery time was quick but otherwise was just bit meh. So expensive for such a disappointment

Tasty but noodles were chopped up to fit into a small box - kind of ruins the experience of eating noodles. No consistency in quality (ie whether they include coriander and general taste of dish) I hate having to pay for delivery, considering a box of noodles can set you back by up to £8. Noodles for two and delivery = £18.40.

Very expensive for what you get, slow delivery and we ordered the 'platter' £12 for a small box of luke warm and not very nice food, we won't be ordering from here again.

After reading the reviews on this takeaway I was quite disappointed with how the food turned out. The wrap didn't contain half the stuff it promised it would, the wedges tasted stale & the children's chow mien was bland. It really wasn't worth the money. Most of it went into the bin. Won't be ordering from here again! ):

We love the food here, its delicious and always arrives piping hot. One minor negative is that our last order did not contain the extra vegetables that we offered. However we will let them off as they've never missed anything before and it really is delicious food!

Cumin and coriander is meant to be hot and spicy. I expected it to be quite saucy too. Disappointed to be honest. Malaysian spice is much nicer.

One word BEAUTIFUL I would have a chop and wok EVERYDAY if I wasn't going to put on loads of weight. I always have vermicelli, extra corn extra chicken and malaysian sauce. Would never go anywhere else for noodles. Strongly recommend. Also nice to eat in during the day. Very clean and friendly staff :) ANOTHER AMAZING DINNER CHOP N WOK. WELL DONE !!!

I ordered a takeaway from here for me and my son, both opting for the noodles. My son liked his and had no complaints, he had the chicken, egg noodles with a sweet and sour sauce. I had the duck, egg noodles in tokyo honey and lime sauce. It basically tasted of nothing, i couldn't taste either flavour, there was so much juice at the bottom of the carton (that still didn't taste of anything) that from half way down it was just really gluggy! There was also some sort of vegetable in it, that i couldn't identify, that was inedible! I paid £15 for 2 cartons, £3 of that was for delivery!! and feel disappointed and ripped off. I think i will stick to the noodle bar up the other end of sutton, ka pow!

The food from here is very tasty, but only if you don't bother with their delivery service, it took them over an hour and 3 phone calls to deliver even though I live approximately 8 minutes away from Sutton Coldfield. However if you go in and order your noodles then they cook it right in front of you in about 5 minutes and its fresh, its hot and I think it is good for money. I don't think this place deserves such low rating but I think if you have been disappointed with their delivery service then try going in and getting your food within 5 minutes!

I usually go to Chop & Wok during lunch time as their lunch time offer is reasonably priced. Really good portions. I am quite a fussy eater and they are always accomodating and friendly. They could do with a wider range of drink avaliable but apart from that I'd definitely recommend.

I've ordered from Chop and Wok, Sutton Coldfield 3 times now, and the food has arrived piping hot and tasty. It's always taken an hour (even on a Wednesday evening) but it has been tasty.

Shocking. Avoid at all costs. Took over 2 hours to come . Then there was part of the order was missing. We called then to ask for a refund for the missing food and nobody got back to us so we where technically robbed by chop & wok. The staff are rude on the phone and the food was poor for the price.

Awful, chicken wings layered in salt so couldn't actually eat them, both of the woks themselves were full of egg shells from the fried egg, they also forgot our drinks off the order, will definitely not be ordering from here ever again.

Decided to try a delivery from here. Fast delivery but the food was very cold, even though we are not very far away. Expensive for what you get and the food was basically mush once it was dished up and the shrimp sesame toast was like eating small slabs of fried bread, no taste other than grease. Can't say I would rush to re-order. A Chinese is half the price and much better in my opinion.

Really tasty food, with a quick delivery service. I'm also one of those awkward people that leave specifications when I order and they are always followed ! The only think I can ever fault is that sometimes with the thinner noodles they can be overcooked and mushy and the spices they use on the chicken wings can be a bit too salty for me, but otherwise fab !

DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY!!! I used to be a regular and always used to go into the shop to order food. I decided to order tonight and what a waste of £20+ it has gone down hill massively. The menu is the same but the quality of meat is beyond ridiculous, the sauce tastes of pure chilli and curry powder and tastes more like traditional Indian food than chinese. Ordered at 9.20pm delivery driver finally came after 11.30 and forgot 2 items! By time he came the shop was already closed. Your better off ordering from your local chinese it would taste authentic and be a lot cheaper! The quality of meat is more suited for a dog! The so called steak is just beef mince. Utterly disgusting. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME WAITING HOURS FOR YOUR RUBBISH FOOD TO FINALLY ARRIVE!!!

Really disappointing, had heard good things but not left a good first impression. Didn't have shrimp toast that I ordered however they rang straight away to offer alternatives. It arrived really quickly but there was mass confusion as the boxes were labelled incorrectly (so we eventually discovered) so we thought we had the wrong order! The tempura veg defo was tempura veg lol! The quality of the food was poor to be honest, taste was bland but portion size was good.

This is the first time we have tried Chop and Wok and we were so impressed that we had to leave a review. The food was amazing and the portions were huge. We will definitely order from here again and would recommend friends and family to do so too!

The final straw. They've made mistakes in the past; been a couple of hours bringing the food, slightly botched orders, but this was the final straw. I ordered Thai rice stick, salmon and Tokyo honey sauce. I got noodles, cooked to mush in a sauce that tasted of nothing. It's takeout, but it's not cheap takeout and it have the right to expect it to be edible. It went in the bin. Never ordering from them again. Take your chances, I reckon you have a 50/50 chance of having food you'll actually want to eat delivered anywhere near the time you wanted to eat it.

Food was horrible, stale and hidden by loads of spice. Made me ill so have reported to environmental health. This place should not be trading in its current guise.

The food was hot, tasty and delivered promptly. Also the serving proportions were enough for two people rather than one!

In short it was terrible. In a 1L container sent there were 5 small pieces of "shredded duck" and the rest was noodles. I have a plate full of noodles left with very little blackbean sauce, they are almost dry. I also placed an order for Ben and Jerry's ice cream which was not available, I explained that the alternatives contained gluten and I that is the reason the alternatives were not acceptable. They did not seem to understand what gluten free actually meant!! I have tried calling the number they contacted me from but it only goes to answer phone. DO NOT ORDER FROM HERE IF YOU ARE HUNGRY!!!

We waited an hour for it to be delivered then we called and they said it was on the way and we waited an extra 40 min. The food was nearly warm and there was only three pieces of tiny chunks of meat in each of them. The flavour was non existent. Very disappointing.
