It was a lovely pub anyway with great staff and great people. It recently had a refurbishment and somehow managed to make it even more pleasing to the eye. The landlord goes above and beyond with the darts teams and the locals. Its a very welcoming pub to "outsiders" i come from the opposite side of Birmingham so im used to pubs being weary of strangers but I was so welcomed by everyone here. The beer is great and the atmosphere is amazing. Me and my fiancée had our sons wake here and I honestly couldn't have asked for more the owner even opened earlier than his usual for us and best of all, all of my family loved the prices and joked about moving out here.

Good beer, good staff. 28.03.23 still good. Excellent selection of beers and shorts.
