Affordable and nice food, two tables inside at the side and sea view. The small fish and chips is enough for a meal.

New to the area and wanted to find somewhere good. This place didn't disappoint. The team here are really friendly, it's clean, the prices are reasonable and the food was great. Often battered fish can be sickly but not from here, perfect and fresh. Kids meals are great value also.

Owner is brilliant in customer service. Chips are amazing. Fish is made fresh Infront of..need more chip shops like this in the area.

I had mini fish & chips with curry sauce priced at £5.90. This on the higher side compared to other local 'good' chippies. The chips were very good 5 out of 5 in my opinion. The fish was ok, probably would have cooked it slightly longer as the batter was a little soggy. This could have also been as the chips were placed on top of the fish inside the box. The cod inside the batter itself was very good. Curry sauce was not the typical chip shop curry. Much darker in colour, thinner and not lumpy. This took me by surprise initially but overall I actually enjoyed it and wanted more when I'd finished it. Shop itself, decor isn't great. Lots of unappealing green. The menus inside are not very professional with lots of hand written extra's on there. Also lots of hand written (not the best hand writing either) 'specials' on the walls. This could easily be tidied up for a more professional look. The staff were friendly and inviting Overall, I'm giving Mr P's a 4 out of 5, with just simple adjustments to easily achieve a 5 out of 5.I'd be happy to rate this place again in the hope to achieve a 5!

Lovely tasting fresh food. Clean and hygienic premises. Staff friendly and helpful. Not open super late into the night tho, so get there before 9pm or u may be disappointed. What more need be said... Best chippy in the area. :)

Delicious fresh food, great service

Visited twice in June 2021 and I can highly recommend. Standard set here is exceptionally good. First off great Chips - the staple for any Fish and Chip shop. Have had the Haddock also, large, well cook with a crispy batter. Donner Meat meals are packed with food and good value. Curry sauce is especially very good and not the normal "out of packet" you get everywhere else. They have a lot of "specials" like 'swedish meat balls' which are VERY nice as are the battered Black Pudding is a must have! Really pleased with our couple of visits and will be our "norm" as long as it keeps those standards. Oh and they even have dog biscuits for those visiting along with their furry friends. Staff are very friendly and service is quick.

My first visit tonight very off putting I walked in my mask was lower than it should of been my fault apologised. I said pull your mask up then went silent. Grumpy face no communication skills. I let it go its just after 8pm I ordered food the food is expensive for the area. Food not great hard chicken burnt meat. Hard chips won't go again. I will say the girls were lovely serving. He needs to cheer up very unprofessional anyone would of thought it was closing time I'd just bought his supper

Best chippy for miles, everything cooked fresh so still piping hot when you get it home. Friendly helpful staff. The place is always spotlessly clean. Highly recommended

I had the large cod and chips meal with mushy peas and when I say large it was like a small whale,the batter was great and the fish itself was tremendous,I would highly recommend anyone to them.

Fish was cooked freshly upon order, chips were PERFECT no grease not too salty. Love how they package everything neatly in those nice boxes. Decided to give here a go yesterday and it definitely exceeded my expectations. I'll be back 😊

I try this chippy instead of my regular chip shop. Food and service was really poor and shop looks old and not really clean.

New to the local community, friendly but has some operational issues to iron out. Can pay by card which is a bonus.

Never got what you want cooked, very slow service, staff get flustered when it's busy. Curry sauce is shockingly bad, batter is too thin on fish and sausages. Portions are small. Gravy and chips are lovely. Prices are reasonable.
