Customer service topnotch, food was affordable and taste was fantastic

I got goat suya, ewa aganyin, white rice + ayanmase, jollof rice, pepper soup and yam porridge. The ewa aganyin was the biggest regret for me, what I got was beans and stew which they’ve sold as ewa aganyin. The jollof rice was a disappointment both in appearance and taste. The rice looked like there was not enough tomatoes & red peppers to make it look red. Ayanmase stew was more oil than stew, few bits of tiny shaki meat. I only recommend buying the goat suya, pepper soup. Yam porridge - 3 .

Guys this place is a huge disappointment. I don't know why I didn't listen to the reviews that others posted. This company doesn't have integrity AT ALL. I am so ashamed to write this review because they are my fellow compartriot. However, it has to be said....I called this place today by 3.50pm just confirm if they would be open and the owner told me they would be open by 4.30 pm. I live quite far and it took me 45 minutes to commute to the restaurant and to my unfortunate surprise, they were CLOSED. I called the same number and I kid you not...the line went straight to voicemail. I called their other line and no one answered. I am so upset and disappointed. If they were not going to open on time they should have said so...........I wish I could give them ZERO STARS.

Not professional at all. How can they not update whether or not they are open or closed? I booked a ride because I saw the restaurant was going to be open till 22:10. Got there 19:06 and absolutely no one was there! Called and no one responded. Never think I will ever try there again! Gave 1 star because I just have to rate.

Prompt response, preferably order then come pick up or use delivery services. Food was okay, first attempt on Amala was average, I will visit more to get better rating.

The Foods were delicious and well prepared

Went there yesterday with my wife and kids. I found the meal to be tasty and to be nicely made and came at a resonable and fair price, also it was quite refreshing and commendable to have also a good reception and warm welcoming by the host.

This is the real party jollof rice. I was worried about their timing because of other reviews here, but my order was ready before I arrived. The amala with gberi is also on point.😁

I was really disappointed by the communication. I got the details for the restaurant from a colleague. Called restaurant to find out what was available and informed the lady I spoke to I'll be coming down. Got dressed and made our way down . On arrival 30 mins after phone call , all lights were switched off and door locked even though the sign on the door still said open . This was about 21:30pm and closing time is supposed to be 23:00pm . We waited for a few minutes and called number multiple times with no pick up. We had to leave as it is a cold night . Total 30 minutes drive wasted going to and fro .

Never tried here before and it was good.

Grilled fish not well cooked, very average service, fried plantain was ok though, no wine, was excited to come and impress my son, and dissatisfied at the end

Really different from any of our usual takeaway meals and we'll definitely want to try more dishes sometime soon.

Authentic west African cuisine ....

I ordered white rice with stew and assorted meat. The food was delicious and as spicy as I wanted. Due to COVID-19 restrictions, it's takeaways only at present. I was pleasantly surprised that a member of staff ran after me and refunded me £1 change after mistakenly overcharging me even when I was completely unaware. That kind of integrity speaks volumes. Thank you sir. I recommend your business and will surely return when next I visit Sheffield.

Our first experience of West African cuisine and it did not disappoint. The Joloff rice and dodo gizzard in particular were absolutely delicious. Also the puff puffs were lovely! Very reasonable price for the quantity of food, and ready for collection in about 45 minutes from ordering! E dupe!

I love this place. These guys make delicious Jollof rice, fried plantains and beef stew! Absolutely delicious and great prices.

Great food and lots of choices! The chef was very generous with chilli and I loved it! The fish stew (stew & fish) was too fishy for me. The driver wasn’t in best mood on that day... Though I was very happy and would recommend to a friend!

I really enjoy the food ordered from Olam-D, I would recommend the Jollof Rice, Beef and Plantain dish and for dessert 'dessert' their puff is delicious.

Waited almost 2 hours for my order. I rang up to follow it up and whilst they gave me an update, there was no apology. When they did finally deliver it, there was again no apology. No complaints about the food but service is everything.

Amazing food as always but portions really need to be bigger!!! Especially for the price you pay! I paid an extra pound for "tomato stew" with my meal and it was less than a teaspoon full! Good job it tastes so good!

Nice food but VERY SMALL portions. Got jollof rice with beef and there was only one piece of beef. Same with the chicken, just one drumstick. And the beans were burnt. Cow foot is so good and the rice too. GOAT MEAT PEPPER SOUP is amazing.
