We enjoyed our meal at Oita, thought the service was very friendly and the food served, very tasty indeed. If you are ever in the area you should try this place.

Amazing vibes and great service but food was mixed. Mohamed our server was very friendly and attentive. The garden was lovely and warm and had a great atmosphere. We had the pork ramen (good) and the veggie ramen which was quite fishy and oily (although the egg was particularly delicious).

Beautiful vegetarian food. Really enjoyed all the meals. All the staff were delightful and very attentive. We will definitely come back. PS: matcha finger desert was exquisite!

Of course there are many choices in China town in London, luckily we decided to try this Small Restaurant. We were shown to a table and soon we looked at the menu. Many different dishes, „japanese tapas“ are fitting the Large and Small appetite, so the selection is quite difficult. The friendly server helped us through the menu. All Food was great, the server really friendly

Great find, lovely staff, great food in generous portions. They squeezed us in on Chinese New Year (no less) for a really good fresh meal that was too much even for us to finish, and that's saying something. We both ate and drank for under £45 and couldn't recommend it more.

The food is amazing, the vibes are spot on and the stuff are the nicest! Should have written this review much earlier since we come to dine here at least twice a month. Today, once again, we had THE BEST sushi and most delicious margarita! We were served once again by the friendliest waiter, Fateh! Thanks so much for the wonderful experience!

Great food, great service, nice calm setting in the busy China Town. The hostess will do anything to give you a table even though they’re fully booked. Would recommend to everyone!

We booked this for dinner to catch up with family from outside London. So we booked here as our visitors wanted Japanese restaurant. The positives ... Food was decent with good menu options The not so positives.. - Overpriced. We ordered soft-shell crab & scallops dishes from the tapas selection, portion was ridiculously small for the prices. This is not a Michelin starred or anywhere near fine dining venue, but these 2 dishes were not mis-aligned to the restaurant - Friendly but inexperienced staff. We sat on table of 4 right next to the entrance. It was beside where all the staff were hanging around when they had nothing to do. So it was not too comfortable as it felt like they were hovering over us. - No ambience at all, it was like eating in a library on a super busy Saturday night in Gerard Street which was packed full of people.

I’ve been @oitarestaurant many times for dinner and this was the first time for the lunch. The portions were generous and the quality was good. Tempura Bento consisted mix tempura, gyozas, salad and rice. Tempura portions were huge and tasty. I ordered extra egg for the curry udon. Udon was chewy and went perfect with the curry sauce. Karaage was well seasoned with ginger and soy sauce. Juicy and yummy. Absolutely value for money😍😍😍 Cozy and relaxing atmosphere with friendly and helpful staff. Lovely local restaurant. They also had a new branch in Chinatown. I tried the lunch there but honestly I found the quality in Wood Green is much better. Have you tried it and what do you think? This is a very conveniently located restaurants, diagonally opposite Wood Green tube station in an increasingly Bohemian part of London although there are plenty of reminders of the area's past/present as the restaurant is situated next to fried chicken and doner kebab joints. Japanese food is one of my very favourites - the range of dishes - the freshness - the delicate nature of the cuisine - and the seasonality of the dishes make it simply enthralling. Perhaps we should have ordered sushi or sashmi. But what we ordered were the spicy miso seafood ramen and the seafood yakisoba. As for the ramen - it's very difficult, I've discovered, to find a really good one unless you go into central London. And so it proved here as the key taste - the umame - was totally lacking. As for the yakisoba - it was for sure a generous portion - but there was nothing Japanese about the taste. Disappointing

So lucky to have this restaurant on our doorstep. Amazing food, lovely presentation, great service and friendly staff. Looking forward to the warmer weather for alfresco dining.

The sushi was beautifully presented and incredibly fresh. Damian, who was waiting our table, ensured we had a lovely evening, and the overall atmosphere was nice and welcoming. Would definitely return.

We had a wonderful time in Oitakitchen yesterday. Best sushi I had in years. Our waiter was friendly and he helped us to choose the sushi platter we can both enjoy. Lovely atmosphere. Will be back soon for another dinner.

I visited this restaurant for few times, I did enjoy the prawn soup, even if sometimes is quite salty and sushi is lovely too, but curry foods is an absolute disaster. I invited my partner to eat dinner with me at this restaurant, he ordered curry with vegetables and rice and everything was inedible, the colour was terrible, the taste was like gravy from can, with curry powder and the vegetables had a stale taste and the rice was mushy (over cooked). The sitting aria outside is wonderful but inside is unpleasant and the smell unpleasant as well.

I went there for a late lunch at 15:00, the sign in front of the restaurant clearly says the lunch menu is until 15:30. I sat down and waiting for around 10-15 mins and was given the menu, when I asked for the lunch menu...

Went with family,the food was fab and the staff friendly and helpful. Prawn tempura the batter was the best !!!!! Sushi was sublime. The garden is an oasis in the middle of Woodgrime !!!!!

The place is what you would call a hidden gem in a bed of rocks, the rocks being the hundreds Turkish restaurants that are present in the area. Food was magnificent, staff friendly, service impeccable.
