Just ordered some food from them. The Jap Chae was without any exaggeration uneatable. The beef was so chewy I had to spit it out and throw the whole thing in the bin. Absolutely disgusting. Never again.

Food and restaurant are nice but forget about delivery. We had bad experiences waiting for over an hour for our food which arrived in a very messy way… no help from the restaurant as phone was not connecting at all and when eventually someone picked up the call cut off.

We stumbled across this lovely spot in a trendy area of Copenhagen. The sushi is freshly made; you can taste the freshness and it’s very reasonably priced considering this. Staff are very attentive and kind. Ordered a mixture of items and it was all extremely flavoursome and very well presented. Don’t sleep on this great spot. The best sushi I’ve had in a long time!! 5 stars, would 100% recommend

The service was 10/10 honestly the waitress and chef were absolutely lovely, but also prior to this I didn’t have Japanese food for years and was looking to try it, but after I ordered the food felt that the chicken was a bit dry and the lemonade didn’t really taste like lemonade even after I asked for extra sugar. We had a dog with us so I ended up giving most of my food to the dog. The sushi was delicious and perhaps the meal I ordered wasn’t really for me, also it is slightly pricy but it is authentic Japanese food so very understandable. Other than that lovely restaurant and staff, very welcoming and supportive .

We had early dinner around 6 with our son last Saturday . Food was good as always , we used to be regulars at the restaurant. The first problem was the issue with the take away drivers , 3-4 drivers standing on my neck chating in a language which I didn’t understand and laughing ,it looked like they were laughing on us . We complain to the manager which said sorry about that and make us a discount without sorting out the issue , she just left them over there with the problem getting bigger ! The second problem was that for second time they appeal items in our total without been ordered , just extra charges . The first time when my wife challenge our server , the manager jumped into the conversation and said that they don’t know ( the servers ) I’ll sort it out ( although they took the order ) , which seemed a bit odd . Last week happed for second time as 20 pounds items were charged extra !!! Again the same think happened. The service is appalling, food is ok , but after the incident with the riders I’ll try another Japanese in the area before I’ll choose midori

The service is bit poor I asked a glass i had to take by myself, food came not small pot in the table for soy sauce had to take it by myself, i paid and I was leaving the waitress came to ask if i paid 😭😒

The food here is not bad but you are much better off getting a takeaway than sitting in. They never bring your meals at the same time so you have to take turns watching the other one eat. There are always a load of delivery riders loitering in the doorway which makes the atmosphere bad. We decided today that we will never eat here again. It was the third time we’ve had a poor experience here.

Delicious japanese food at a reasonable price. The staff are lovely and the atmosphere is very casual and calming. I've been a few times now and have had no problems at all. Fully recommend.

I love this place. Great choice menu with cooked and raw options. Love the sashimi and all rolls. Sashimi salmon donburi a favourite also. Would recommend.

A very nice authentic Japanese restaurant not far from Alexandra Palace. It was quite busy on a Wednesday lunchtime but the service was still very quick. The food was excellent - would recommend the bento boxes (we had salmon and katsu), the wasabi prawns and the spicy beef skewers.

I recently ordered takeout from Midori restaurant and unfortunately, my experience was far from satisfactory. I specifically requested ramen with chicken, but to my dismay, I received a dish with pork instead there was not even an option of pork. Furthermore, the ramen soup was excessively oily and lacked any discernible flavor. It was as if the chef had simply poured oil into a bowl of water and called it soup. the sushi rolls I ordered arrived in a pitiful state – completely destroyed and barely resembling sushi at all. It was evident that no care was taken in the preparation or packaging of these items, resulting in a mess that was unappetizing to look at, let alone eat. Midori restaurant was extremely disappointing, and I cannot in good conscience recommend it to others, especially for takeout orders.

Good restaurant, if you dine in; terrible for takeaway. Made an order over the phone, and it too 1 1/2 hours to arrive!! Why?! We’re only in East Finchley…why should it take so damn long to deliver a pretty small order?! You just lost some good customers!!

Really good Katsu. All food super nice ad fresh.

Sushi was acceptable but oddly and worryingly the fish was slightly warm. Wasabi was fiery. Korean spicy squid was underwhelming. Prawn gyozas were good but the prawns inside were excessively hot: microwaved? All in all, an average dining experience.

Good food! Particularly recommend the tempura soft-shell crab, crunchy but melts in your mouth in the middle! Waitress was brill too, very accommodating and thoughtful. Would definitely go back

I first dined here 11 years ago and the standard of food is still as high today as it was then. Always delicious, always well presented. Atmosphere of the restaurant is calm and quiet - no loud music, so perfect for a good conversation with friends. Highly recommended!

I am a few months too late to review this restaurant, but i still remember my visit as it was yesterday. The food was realy delicious. The service was great. If i ever go to London again, i will definitely come here again.

Terrible delivery experience I ordered at 7.12pm and our food hadn't arrived by 8.30pm. we rang several times but they didn't answer the phone. We were forced to come to the restaurant where we had to wait until someone would even speak to us. It was completely chaotic. No explanation was given and eventually a bag with our order was brought. I showed the email with the order listed while the waitress looked in the bag. However when we got home there was only 1 chicken Bento rather than the two we ordered. I was also not offered my 10% back for coming out to collect This is not the service I expect from this normally great restaurant. Avoid for home delivery

Absolutely fantastic food. Some of the tastiest shoryu broth I’ve ever had. The kimchi is superb and the service is helpful, friendly and professional. Cannot recommend highly enough.

Food ordered at 8.05pm, eventually arrived at almost 9.10pm and delivery was 10 mins drive away. When it arrived the Katsu curry sauce was missing and the food which should have been hot was cold. Portions were tiny. Coke Zero was ordered x 2 but normal coke was delivered (one of us is diabetic). Not worth £32! Won’t ever order from this restaurant or Just Eat again. Bad, bad service!

Food delivery ordered, over one hour from when it was ordered. Hot food was cold and the chicken katsu curry was missing its sauce (so was just chicken and rice). The sashimi salad was very lacking in dressing and was in a tiny bowl. Ordered 2 cans of Coke Zero (one of us is diabetic) - 2 cans of normal coke were delivered, room temperature!! Look at the photo attached - that was £32!!! Will use Sushi Zento from now on. Will not order from here again or use Just Eat

Great local Korean/Japanese eatery. Inside its a bit dark and quite rustic decor. We had the chicken yakitori skewers - tasty, sweet and salty all at once, the lightly fried tofu starter, the salmon bibimap quite nice but not much salmon ( caution really sizzlingly hot at the table) and the pork miso ramen - which was really huge and good value . All in all about £33 for 2 people with tips. Would recommend

I’ve been coming to this restaurant for years and it has never let me down with either the service or quality and offering of food. Some of my favourite meals here are the bento boxes, the bibimbaps and the sushi rolls. There is a great variety of food to choose from, and to suit different dietary requirements. The pricing is also really fair for the quality.

I want to say that the restaurant service was spotless, the staff were lovely and also used some Japanese disciplines culture, making the atmosphere carming. The food was amazingly delicious. The soda noodles and bento box are the best to order. Update: I went for an second, I had the duck Rame. I will say it is an underrated option at Midori being so flavourful. Wanted to give a big thanks to the Midori staff.

Low rating because me and my friend both got a sore throat after meeting and eating here. Big red flag for a place which serves sushi (even though we only had the vegan kind)

A bustling busy restaurant. It was our first visit and definitely won’t be our last. The waitress was so friendly and welcoming. The restaurant has an extensive menu with affordable prices. The food was delicious. It’s a great restaurant with lots of character. We look forward to returning soon.

Great selection of Asian food (Korean as well, not just Japanese!), I love the menu with photos but most of all I was quite impressed by Sofia, the waitress who served us for lunch, who was so friendly, professional and quick. She knows how to manage a room, rare talent nowadays.

A friend first took me to Midori a year or so ago and I have been back many times since! They are also my go-to for takeaway - the sushi here is amazing and the staff are lovely. The variety of food is great without taking away from the quality, which is so good! Always fun to go to, lots of fun memories from one year alone! xx

Uber Delivery: Ali Monfared, Deanery Close I recently tried two dishes from a local restaurant that I ordered for delivery, and I have to say, I was thoroughly impressed with both the quality of the food and the delivery service. The Yasai Yaki Soba and Chicken Katsu Bento arrived promptly and were still hot and fresh when I opened the containers. The Yasai Yaki Soba was a perfect blend of savory and spicy flavors. The noodles were cooked to perfection and the vegetables were still slightly crisp, which added a nice texture to the dish. The Chicken Katsu Bento was equally delicious - the chicken was crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside, and the bento box included a variety of sides like salad and miso soup that complemented the main dish perfectly. The portion sizes were generous, so I had enough leftovers for lunch the next day. The restaurant also included some complimentary condiments and a pair of chopsticks, which I thought was a nice touch. Overall, I was extremely satisfied with my delivery experience and would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for delicious and high-quality Japanese cuisine.

Our favourite north London Japanese restaurant. Everything is fab and quite well priced. The sushi is good, the bento Bose's are good, the ramen is good.....it's literally all good!!

We went to Midori for my daughter's birthday after a recommendation from a friend. What a lovely experience it was. We had never been there before - they were very warm and welcoming, explaining any dishes we weren't familiar with and making suggestions. The food was delicious, arriving quickly and with great service. Thank you for making our celebration so special, we will definitely be back when we're in the area again.

We had a quick tasty meal in between snooker matches at Ally Pally. The chirashi-don was really good, and the flavour of the gyu-don was good although the beef wasn't thinly sliced as you'd expect. Service was quick, the lone front staff was trying hard to provide good service to all customers. Great value food and would go again.

It's a lovely warm and inviting place to eat in and I have also NEVER been disappointed by the takeaway. It' arrives prompt - somehow, the crispy stuff stays crispy, everything is fresh. I can't comment on the sushi/sashimi stuff because it isn't my thing- wherever it's from - but the tempura squid is perfection.

Sea food in Sea food ramen is tasteless… the shop not far from it is much better… raw food is ok

The chicken yakisoba was woeful. Rubbery, reheated chicken, barely any vegetables. Gyoza were less bad, but still not great. Maybe other items on the menu are better, but I wouldn't recommend it.

Midori has one of the best ramen and sushi I have ever tried. The food tastes fresh and it is very well prepared. The staff is amazing as well, always treating you with respect and kindness. I highly recomend tthemwith no doubts.
