Ochirly Oriental in Gwynedd

Unfortunately this place is going down hill, Ordered from here often and recently the orders have been missing items and the delivery is always an hour over what they say. Last order was an hour and a half late rang them to be told they hadn't started the order because they didnt have a driver. They jad a contact number so could have called to say that.

Ordered by WhatsApp which worked really well, particularly as I’m hard of hearing. Good was great portion sizes, hot and good quality.

We are local and ordered a home delivery meal. Great service, arrived piping hot within half an hour and was delicious especially the sessemee prawn toast. Will definitely be using Ochirly Oriental again!

We couldn't get through on the phone, so we popped along to visit. There was no restaurant option - just takeaway. However the menu was good and the quality of the food when it was finished about 25min later was excellent - and we did order around 6:30pm so peak time. Thoroughly recommend the dishes we had, and good value as well.

Ordered at 6:15 for delivery to have to phone and ask where my food was after an hour and half to be told my food will be here in 30min then to call again after another hour to ask and to be told they are waiting on the driver it now 9:50 and still no food were starving, have always used ochilly as food never disappoint but this is the second time for this to happen in the past couple of months and will not be coming back have tried to call at 9:45 and no answer

The food is delicious. Really gorgeous meal we had in the restaurant. Definitely come back and recommend!

Ordered a delivery Friday night to a nearby campsite. Was told 15 minutes and after two hours fifteen minutes we finally received the food despite numerous phone calls and them saying the chef will be there in five minutes time and time again. If you can’t deliver for two hours just tell the truth and people will wait. The wait was worth it, the food was seriously good and very authentic. Yes, it probably had msg in but was extremely tasty and unique. Definitely using again.

Ordered the set meal for two by phone, it was ready for collection on time, excellent food, very good value for money. Cash only. Would recommend.

These guys are changing from one building to another and have a lot on but still manging to turn out the best Chinese food in North Wales along side the China Hot Chilli Chinese Restaurant in Bangor so both ends of the NW spectrum covered. Little disarray there at the moment while they make the change over but the food is well worth the wait at a very reasonable price. They are Chinese with 2 young and very sweet local girls Front of Shop that they are educating too. So unlike the last reviewer who wants it on a plate now, show some patience and it will pay off now and long term too for us and the local community. Well done Ochirly Oriental, great job.

Absolutely beautiful. Remember when they were on the harbour at Porthmadog. Lovely meal would go again when we are next in Porthmadog

Had a takeaway that was delivered to the holiday let. Great value and choice. Was able to order a main course not on menu. When delivered food was very hot and fresh. Recommended.

Confused about opening! Says on your website you are open Tuesday, but closed on Monday. When we ring it says closed. Quite disappointing and a waste of 20 mins choosing from the online menu!

DO NOT RECOMMEND!! Ordered online for delivery, that never turned up, when we called chasing they said they couldn’t accept our order as they were too busy to deliver, but never made any attempt to tell us this. They said we could collect the order and it would be ready in 30-45 minutes, 2.5 hours after originally ordering and we are still in the shop waiting for our food. Minimal customers here. Terrible terrible customer service and communication. I appreciate you have said you are busy but do not accept online orders without at least communicating with your customers. First and very last time we will be using you. Would give 0 if I could
