My twin brother and I were pub hopping around the Cavern Quarter of Liverpool and decided to drop into O'Briens Pub ,been here before, always had a good time and so it proved on our latest visit. I love the look of this pub, its a long ,narrow pub,a cool looking serving bar dominates the main room, pubby decor and furnishings, big screens to enjoy the sport and plenty of seating options spread throughout this pub both inside and outside looking out onto the busy and bustling Mathew Street. We ordered a guinness each, these were poured in the correct manner even allowing time for the all important settle, we chilled out and soaked up the great vibe in this busy and popular pub while we sipped our guinness. Guinness served in here is spot on, thick, creamy and most importantly iced cold, a really good pint of guinness at a good price. We really enjoyed our guinness in here before we moved on and although our visit was only fleeting as on every other visit to O'Briens Pub we had a great time. O'Briens Pub is easy to locate along Mathew Street, a street and area teeming with pubs, bars, cafe's and restaurants and a major tourist destination due to it Beatles connections. Opening hours are; Monday to Sunday, open from 11am. Well worth checking out if you're in the Cavern Quarter of Liverpool.

A little trip to Liverpool with my 5 friends was amazing, and O'Brien,s Bar was one of the 1st Bars we went in and never left, what an amazing night, lovely and friendly, Great music, and decent drinks, DJ Jimmyelvis was a top bloke, he got everyone of all ages up dancing, a nice mixture of music and Karaoke. The bar staff and doorman were great too.... definitely recommend.

While looking for a place to have a drink we stumbled upon this little pub by coincidence. Lucky us as it proved to be great. Full of locals and great atmosphere. A glass of rose and a coke cost us the astronomical price of £3.40. Yep you’ve read that right.

My twin brother Stephen and I were pub and bar hopping around the Cavern Quarter when we decided to drop into O'Brien's Pub ,been here before on many occasions, always had a good time and so it proved on our latest visit. I love the look of this pub, interior is superb, it's traditional ,a cool looking serving bar dominates the main room, dark wood features, pubby decor and furnishings and big screens to enjoy the sport and there's plenty of seating options spread throughout this pub both inside and outside looking out onto the busy and bustling Mathew Street. We ordered a guinness each, these were poured in the correct manner even allowing time for the all important settle, we grabbed a table were we just kicked back, chilled out and planned out the day ahead while sipping our guinness. Guinness served in here was really good, thick, creamy and most importantly iced cold, no wonder this pub is so popular with guinness served in this good a condition. We really enjoyed our guinness in here before we moved on and although our visit was only fleeting as on every other visit to O'Obrien's Pub we had a great drinking experience. O'Brien's Pub is easy to locate along Mathew Street, a street and area teeming with pubs and bars. Opening hours are; Monday to Sunday, open from 11am till very late. Well worth checking out if you're in the area.

O'Brien's on Mathew street is a local pub in the Cavern Quarter of the city that offers a well priced range of drinks and is a brilliant place to watch sport. This fantastic pub is a proper local pub in a very lively area of the city centre and on every occasion me and my twin brother have been here it's alway's full of locals. O'Brien's has a narrow interior with superb fixtures and features throughout the whole pubs interior and fantastic seating options both inside and outside. We visited early in the afternoon and it was really busy which is how we like pub/bars and restaurants as the atmosphere is much better. When we visited here we had a few pints of Guinness which were perfectly served and and at £3.00 a pint really cheap especially for this area of the city centre.A very good local pub in a great area of the city centre and well worth a visit.(This is my 2nd review O'Brien's). Opening Hours. Monday-Sunday-11.00-Onwards.

Excellent cafe in the heart of Liverpool. Great vicinity with walking distance to many attractions - Central Library, Museum, Liverpool Lime Street stations, Royal Liverpool Hospital, Liverpool Uni etc What impressed me most? Cosy environment. Soothing music. Most importantly, very affordable price. I can hardly recall a place that would offer a MEDIUM size Americano for a price <£3. They even give a complementary sweet to rinse off the coffee after-taste. Overall awesome place to chill & hangout. Will revisit if time permits

Visited the Quarry Green Club after attending a funeral service and I must say I can't speak highly enough about this club. It's been here for many years ,a nice look to it ,multi roomed ,pubby decor and furnishings and lots of seating. About 200 plus attended the farewell party after the funeral ,staff were great ,beers were flowing ,buffet great and the general atmosphere was really good ,had a great time in here till throwing out time as did all our group, easy to locate along Daleside Road ,well worth checking out if you're in Kirkby.

Lovely hidden gem. Food is excellent, and staff are friendly and accommodating. Relaxed Parisian vibe to the restaurant. Nice alternative to more rowdy restaurant options in Liverpool.
