Have never had a bad experience. The food is always amazing with flavours to mach. The prices are great for the food and service you recieve. Everytime we visit Exeter it's become a tradition to visit Oasis for a chicken shwarma. (Best shwarma's around) the owner is warm and welcoming and a real pleasure to know. Thanks for the soul food my friend.

Oh dear,,not many patrons,so our falafel should have been fresh..and note ,same price as meat showarmas, kebabs,,should have been fresh, crispy,,hot out of the fryer..all we got was green slush..should have guessed when putting 2 young girls/? Students on the pop up..there’s a van in bristol city centre that did it right..I’ve only lived in Egypt, the gulf, for 28 years.so what do I know.?it takes more than a few trays of chillies, condiments,in front..to make it authentic..imho,avoid..

I just want to thank Hesham as he always has a great customer service, but i have to be honest he make the best and i mean beeeeest Egyptian style wraps, i try them all, my favourite is the beef shawarma wrap followed by his homemade baklava and fresh turkish coffee, when i go to city centre i cannot go and pass by, i need to stop and have my beef shawarma spice, chilli and soooo taste, i think as i try many places this is the best street food place in exeter, he even does festivals in summer. Everything is freshly made in front of you and the portions are gigantic , this place must be put under 'one of the restaurant street food to try in Exeter ' . Thanks you Hesham you never put me down in my starving moments walking Exeter centre . Keep the hard job

I have visited Oasis many times. Every time it is absolutely spot on. Cooked fresh right in front of you, the owner is very friendly & talkative. The Shawarma is really tasty and everything is well priced for the portion size. Would recommend to anyone. Dont go anywhere else in the city for a quick lunch

My wife and I shun the multi-national restaurants whenever we visit Exeter, in favour of Oasis. Their falafel is just perfect, and the owner a top character. Always trying to get me to go as spicy as I can but medium is enough for me. If you get the chance, pop to Oasis, in my opinion you won't regret it!

I was passing by with my wife when we saw it. Being Egyptians we thought we'd try it. We were pleasantly surprised. The shawarma meat was tender. The chicken was full of flavour. The sandwiches were huge. Before we left, we were given a couple of falafels to try. They were proper Egyptian falafel with fava beans and green herbs. These are almost impossible to come by out of Egypt. Most falafel in the UK are chick pea based. Next time we are in Exeter, I will be back for a falafel sandwich. We didn't try the sweets or coffee as we were so full.

If you are craving falafel, specifically lovely moist crispy delicious balls of falafel then you may mistakenly be tempted to go to comptoir libanais just round the corner. But that would be a huge mistake. I've tried both, and oasis falafel is simply far superior in every way. Why would the food from a van be much tastier than from a restaurant? Good question. Because it's authentic, homemade with warmth and care. Don't fall for the big business, give oasis a chance and you will not regret it.

Nice falafel wrap. freshly made and nice hot chilli sauce if you like that sort of thing. A vegetarian option that a conformed carnivore like me is happy to eat.

After having a terrible experience at Gourmet Peri Peri I decided to go somewhere else. I saw this place and it tickled my fancy as wanted a wrap so I got three. Two chicken shawarma and one beef, I can honestly say one of the most nicest and filling wraps I’ve eaten. The only complaint I would make is that the price is a bit steep at £5.50 for just wrap no drink or chips included but still worth the money.

Without a doubt the best falafel in the world, and the friendliest service I have ever encountered. The man is a legend.

"Medium or hot?" - What a question. I don't have long to respond. The decision could prove critical, and make or break the falafel wrap I have just ordered. Do I go for some extra spice, or will it prove too much, and smother the flavour of these zesty falafel balls? I chose medium, but I needn't have worried either way. The heat of the chilli sauce blends perfectly with the houmous and tahini coated tortilla wrap, creating an unrivalled medley of flavour. And that's before we've even come to the falafel itself. A golden-brown crunch accompanies the first bite into the wrap, immediately followed by a fluffy and fresh aromatic infusion of coriander, lightly peppered with notes of parsley. A fleeting hint of cumin flirts with your taste buds before giving way to a vibrant wave of Lebanese spices. From the first bite until the last, this falafel is honest yet vivacious nourishment, filled to the brim with joie de vivre. Bolstered by a crisp and well balanced salad, the falafel wrap from Oasis is nothing less than spectacular.

A group of us bought food from here at Glas-Denbury music festival in Newton Abbot. My friends all had the shawarma wraps which they loved and I had the falafel - Speaking as a falafel lover, may I say it was the best falafel wrap I've ever tasted. Everything was cooked right in front of us and the Egyptian man in charge kept us entertained in the meantime. We were assured that the best quality ingredients were used and that everything was home made using secret egyptian family recipes. The food is very well priced - we were all full and only spent £4 each. I will definitely be a returning customer if I encounter Oasis again at any other events in the South West!

Everyone I know has been raving about these falafels, so I eventually got round to trying one. The falafel wrap was delicious but I could barely register the eating experience because the guy serving behaved in a completely inappropriate manner and freaked me out. Will not return as he really put me off.
