Went there two days in a row. Lovely food!! Everything is prepared individually and fresh.

This is really cosy cafe, with super friendly staff and great food! I've had the club sandwich here twice now, it tastes as good as it looks, prices very reasonable as well, and I will be coming again!

We have recently been going this cafe early mornings on the weekends. Always a warm welcome and super attentive service. The best omelettes l have ever tasted, so light and fluffy and piping hot as served on a hot pan. Try the omelette with Feta and spinach it’s simply the best.

Come here every week, the staff are lovely and the food is amazing. The atmosphere feels friendly and local and I couldn’t recommend it highly enough

Best shakshuka I’ve ever tasted without a doubt! Delicious caramel frapp to go with it, wonderful service great music and a lovely atmosphere.

Just had the shakshuka and it was the nicest one iv ever had super rich tomato sauce washed down with a delicious caramel iced coffee

Avoid like the plague. There is a woman in there says she is the owner she speaks to customers disgustingly - was super aggressive. Food is terrible this place has slipped it’s awful - this woman shouldn’t be in a front face role if she can’t speak to customers with respect

Absolutely shocked at what I have just experienced. I've been coming here almost daily for 5 years as live very nearby and have a friendly relationship with all staff. I was seated this morning, with my dog, order a coffee, waiting for my wife to arrive, about to order food. The owner then tells me that the table is reserved in 30 mins. So I'm a bit miffed at this, and said I should have been told this when I sat down as I clearly can't eat here now (I'd been seated for 10 mins waiting to be served). She becomes very argumentative and her attitude appalling, visibly scathing at me daring to give her very valid feedback (I have a hospitality business, don't seat someone to eat when there is a 30 min window without telling them). I then go to pay for my coffee (sausage dog in tow), and tell her that the interaction I've just had (basically the argument she had with me) was bizarre, and that I'd been visiting her place for 5 years - she also knows that. Her response is then "well I don't like your attitude and I have enough customer so don't come back". Well, she liked my money for 5 years, what a disgusting thing to say. I'm shocked at this stage, and try to converse with her calmly about the way in which she has handled this and she then threatens to call the police on me!! It's Whetstone on a Sunday morning, not Wetherspoons on a Friday night. This has probably done me a favour as the standard of this cafe has dropped significantly, I only still go there out of habit and the coffee is ok. I feel sorry for the staff, they are all very nice, but the owner is a nasty, nasty woman. Slippery slop from here when you have such disdain for regular customers. And the first bad Google review I've EVER left.

Oak Caffe is our little gem in whetstone! It’s very popular or busy but you always find a space there. It’s welcoming and the owner and staff are warm and friendly. The food is amazing and on point in quality and taste. I would highly recommend it!

Price over food quantity and quality

Great place always busy. I opted for a egg royal. It comes with salmon toast and eggs. Really nice. Toilet is downstairs and clean. They take Amex. On my way out I took a carrot cake. Nicest thing ever. Your staff members are polite attentive And patient and know the menu well. Thanks.

The American pancakes were disappointing, the menu says 'with egg' as if to imply there's a difference perhaps, if you're after fluffy American style pancakes better to go elsewhere..looking around I could tell everyone was pretty much there for the English breakfast which admittedly looked great.

On my way to QE Barnet this morning (was volunteering at the school fete), I stopped here for coffee and some breakfast. Lovely cafe with a relaxed ambience and friendly service. Great coffee and tasty breakfast….though it’s the only place I know that serve salad with bacon roll 😁.

I ordered French toast from this place, and when I got it, the box was open and the food had obviously been touched. I called the restaurant and asked for a replacement and after being passed on from one person to another, they simply told me to take it with JustEat as it is not their responsibility. EVERYONE I spoke to on the phone was rude and didn't even try to help

Used to visit here regularly with friends, but recently very disappointed to learn that there are no baby change facilities, hence the low rating.

I had take away breakfast and lunches from here whilst working in the area. The food is superb, well priced and made on the premises. There is a good selection of hot/cold food and also bakery items. The staff are very friendly and polite. If you’re in the area give this place a visit, it’s well worth it.

Ate here yesterday, I had the full breakfast & my husband had eggs BenedictGood service, good food, friendly staff, good coffee too.When we asked for the bill we were give 2 chocolate mints & I jokingly said that my husband likes chocolate but not mint chocolate, they then gave him a delicious little white chocolate pastry instead!! Nice gesture!Would definitely eat here again, tables screened off for Covid regulations, plenty of hand sanitiser & clean toilets too.

I walked in to the cafe for a morning coffee and smelt a vulgar stench of cigarette smoke as soon as I walked in. Also I was spoken to in a very inhumane and degrading mannor. I was demanded to put on a mask and before I could take out my exemption card I was rudely told to get out. The woman who told me to get out was a foreign national, she also phoned the police and told me she is going to have me arrested. I am in absolute shook and despair on the treatment I received. I left the cafe and had and anxiety attack and couldn't breathe. I have never been treated with so much disrespect in my life, this place is an absolute no go This is unacceptable on all accounts. I shall also be reporting this to trading standards and the local Barnet Gazette

There are lots of good cafes in this part of Whetstone but busy Oak Caffe is the best. Super friendly efficient service, ‘cafe breakfast’ perfect, lovely coffee, all in all this is a really strong recommendation.

Mucho mejor que la basura diluida estadounidense.Tenía los huevos Benedict con tocino en lugar de jamón y estaba delicioso.Ofrecen una buena variedad e incluso atienden a vegetarianos.Muy recomendable.

My first visit since lockdown. I have been in this lovely cafes many times, but today the service was chaotic and not up to usual standards - it must be due to lack of owners presence. I came with my friend and 2 order to 2 drinks, almond croissant and pancakes. The tea tastes like I am drinking the limescale. Also we have to remind the staff to bring an almond croissant and the cutlery. When the pancakes arrived the portion was massive and presentation like always looked amazing, The pancakes were tasteless and stodgy, as soon I have mentioned about the issues to the staff they offered to re do it. Unfortunately the second batch was even worst. I got home and I feel sick and hungry, I won’t be recommending this place to anyone anymore. I have been charged also for the pancakes which I find disgraceful.

Did not have a good experience here with a baby and a buggy. Was made to feel very unwelcome and staff were rude and stressed in the way they spoke to us.

We stopped at this small but cozy café where the staff welcomed us with a smile letting us sit where we wanted .. We ordered two coffees and it was delocious .. Educated boy, fast but above all practical with the coffee machine ..Will definitely be back to have lunch ☕

Realmente decepcionado por esta orden de 'caffe' a través de UBER y recibí comida congelada. Ninguna de las partes se hizo responsable. Comida no comestible 15 de su bolsillo y ni una onza de servicio al cliente de UBER o la cafetería.Ambos culpándose mutuamente.Pero, ¿por qué debería importarles a los dos que les pagaran por no hacer nada?Nunca más.

Cuatro de nosotros fuimos aquí para comer algo el sábado por la tarde. El lugar estaba lleno pero no tuvimos que esperar más de unos minutos para una mesa. El personal era amable y educado. La comida tardó un tiempo en llegar, pero valió la pena la espera. Como se dijo anteriormente, estaba ocupado. La comida estaba bien presentada y sabrosa, y hay una buena opción para satisfacer todas las necesidades dietéticas y tiene una buena relación calidad-precio.

Siempre hemos notado lo ocupado que está Oak Caffe los fines de semana y finalmente tuvimos la oportunidad de disfrutarlo en un soleado sábado de septiembre.
