We had a large family gathering. We had space, and the atmosphere was conducive for our celebration. Excellent service and friendly staff. I would recommend 👌

The food/service has always been fantastic. Succulent, flavourful food. Not dry at all which I’ve experienced at other places. Chicken was excellent as were the prawns.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Izgara Whetstone , and it was a truly delightful experience. From the moment we walked in, the staff was warm and welcoming. The ambiance was cozy and tastefully designed, perfect for both casual meals and special occasions. The menu offered a great variety of dishes, and everything we ordered was flavorful and beautifully presented. The mix shish was especially outstanding—cooked to perfection with just the right balance of seasoning. Service was attentive without being overbearing, and our server made excellent recommendations. I also appreciated how clean and well-maintained everything was. Highly recommended! Can’t wait to come back again soon.

Popped in these guys as I was working around the corner with my brother was waiting maybe 40 minutes for the food I ordered two chicken sheesh with rice and chips a very hard dish to mess up, but somehow these guys found a way to do so the chicken come out undercooked and the rice hard and chips not edible and I asked for one Coke one water the water was warm and the Coke had taste like it has sat for a long time In an oven would not recommend to anybody and also I’ve been sick after eating the Dish of food that has been served to me and when I tried saying About the Food and middle-aged lady spoke to me with nothing but the height of disrespect and ignorance of the charging me nearly £70 for a chicken cheese with rice and chips avoid like the plague

Food here is incredible! You can blindly pick anything off the menu and enjoy it. Hands down best restaurant in Totteridge. Aziz is lovely and very attentive, a real asset to the business. Will definitely be back!

Some people they dont like me as i give them one star but i do consider every thing If you are looking for perfect cooked meat and good quality turkish dont go anywhere where else really good quality good service and peaceful atmosphere

We visited Izgara yesterday evening to celebrate our son's birthday and it left the best impressions! The food was amazing! The lamb shish was tender and succulent, the lamb shank (incik) was delicious and the meat melted in the mouth (it was proper comfort food at its best), the chicken wings were very tasty too! Highlight of the evening was when they brought a generous piece of tiramisu (which was yummy and with a Turkish twist!) with a candle on top to wish happy birthday to our son!! It was on their own initiative as well!! After that tasty and fun experience we had at Izgara, we'll definitely go back for more! Highly recommended

We went there with some of our family friends Ina busy Saturday night last week.We didn’t know that we had to book a table.They accommodated us anyway.Service was very nice.I like the ambiance.Food was also not bad.I like that. We had a girls late lunch and the restaurant was almost empty when we arrived. The staff were attentive and we opted for the set menu. Well... over the next few hours the atmosphere was buzzing, the staff were on it at all times and the food was absolutely awesome! The cold dishes were great. The hot starter was fab, particularly the calamari which just melted in your mouth. The main was HUGE meaning a few of us took home doggy bags. Topped off with some nice white wine and liquer coffees, it was a lovely few hours. We will be back!

The quality of food was really good and the service by ozzo was excellent. We do eat out alot and know quite a few Turkish restaurants in the area, but do recommend this place for sure. We will start coming here more often. Slightly salty for our taste but Heads up to the chef. highly recommended 👏 👏

I have been here a few times and it's always been good especially the lunchtime special offer 😁 I would prefer the amount of oil used in the dishes to be reduced though and I am sure it can be done. some of the dishes look very oil heavy which is off-putting and I am less keen to return to the restaurant because of this now.

Went to this local restaurant for my birthday with hubby & friend. The food was first class. Wine very tasty and service very friendly and attentive but nit over powering. Very enjoyable evening and will be returning!!

It was a busy evening so initially service was a bit haphazard but then the staff made up for it and we had a lovely time to celebrate my birthday.

I have been few times to Izgara restaurant, but this time I brought my friend and my landlord. Good food. Good service Good advice on what to order and especially the quantity.. which was good to avoid waste. They both loved it. You never get disappointed. It was bit noisy as its was Christmas season.

lovely meal as always. However lots of new staff, and trying to get a clear order was difficult . There is no kids menu, but they said they the would give a smaller portion size, which is fine, however, they kept getting confused with which meal was a kids meal and which wasnt - and we had to go back and forth with the waiters approx 5 times to confirm/ Other than that, it was a lovely meal. My recommendation would be to get a Kids Menu - it can be the same as the main menu but it will just make it clear to them what people are ordering.

Food always of a good standard However the recent increases in price were concerning! Paying £16.90 plus service (£18.59) for a portion of chicken wings is difficult to accept in a local eaterie especially when they are one of the cheapest items to purchase.

I have been wanting to try this restaurant for a while and I was not disappointed. The restaurant was busy but the staff were friendly and efficient and the food plentiful and very tasty.

I was been in izgara for my friend's birthday there was all great and friendly

My sister recommended we eat lunch at Izgara, I haven't been before but will definitely be going again. The food was so delicious, the service was great and the restaurant itself is beautiful and clean. We had the set menu which is 2 courses for under £16 (bargain!) I'm a vegetarian so I had the Zucchini fritters to start and the Vegetarian Moussaka for my main. Both were delicious and the portions are very generous. I also had a gorgeous pomegranate mojito. My daughter had the chicken shish and as you can see there was barely anything left. Thank you for a wonderful lunch!

I been with my family, we ordered mix kebab, unfortunately it didn't come with rice, so we have to order separately rice, meat was raw and cold. Portion was as a family. Waitress with the glasses, when I asked him about the starter with hellimu salad, he just straight away told me they don't have it, until I told him that next table was having it and I wasn't sure what does it call, rather than saying no, he would offer me the menu and explain it. Restaurant is look nice and style.

Although a quiet lunch time, typical for the area at that time, it still had a nice atmosphere. Excellent and pleasant service. 4 in our party and we all ordered different dishes and everyone was very happy with their meal. Nice food presentation, nicely cooked and ample servings. Recommended for a casual Saturday lunch!

I've never experienced a place where the food was so completely tasteless. It was truly awful. What made it worse was the management's total lack of concern, even when they saw both of us had barely touched our meals and told them the food had no flavour. They simply didn’t seem to care. Hugely disappointing.

Excellent food. Service was good with one major exception. On both our last two visits the staff tried to serve our main courses before we had finished our starters. Tonight one even hovered over my husband waiting for him to take his final mouthful. The better procedure is surely to serve the starters as soon as possible and then not cook the main dishes until the diners have finished, or nearly finished, eating. It's not as if our table was needed and there was a decent gap between our mains and deserts.

Excellent food and service, reasonably priced with large portions. Cop Shish was very tender and succulent and the Ali Nazik was 'casserole like' and full of flavour. Babaganoush and Zucchini Fritters, plus bread and dips were all very tasty. Highly recommend.

Food was what’s expected of a decent Turkish restaurant but nothing special, a bit over priced, good service. Not really value for money. Not sure if we’d return. We had a Father’s Day meal there and it didn’t really feel special.
