Five stars food rating, service and flavour from Chef Davy and the team from within The Rose Pub in Biggleswade. Eat in or take out, it's all great! Fantastic, cheers!

We have ordered takeout food several times now. The food is delicious piping hot every time. It’s always delivered on time. I have such high regard for this service! Thank you very much Nuxie’s Kitchen! Very happy customer and devoted customer!

children hungry and waiting for dinner as a special treat. ordered nearly £40 worth of food. called as I received an email saying it has been cancelled but as nuxes have prepared the food I will still be charged 😲 was told there's nothing they can do even though they have received payment (apparently there was no door number and incorrect phone number on order) used the same app to order we always use and details are saved, never had an issue before. very disappointed and two hungry children, £40 down and no food, will not be ordering from here again.

I had the jerk chicken with rice and peas along with a side of coleslaw & fried plantain. Everything about this meal was absolutely delicious. I could not recommend this take away spot any more than saying you will be blown away by the quality of food. I will be coming back here regularly. I have even traveled miles to come to this Jamaican food spot.

Eaten here several times and the food was excellent. However this evening I could not be more upset. Ordered online for delivery. Ordered at 6:43pm got confirmation email that delivery would be before 8:10pm and any delays would be notified by email. That’s quite a wait and steep delivery charge (£4) but ok, I understand they are busy. I finally called just now 8:55pm to find out what’s going on. Apparently mine is next to be prepared.... ARE YOU KIDDING ME?! My son and I are sucking our own DNA off our arms we are so hungry. No updates were received. I asked for a refund which they agreed to, then to be told it will take 3 WORKING DAYS. Apologies are useless, this service is unforgivable and has ruined an extremely rare mother and son night in. Starving and too late to get anything else delivered. Also no money returned tonight. Shocking experience.

Really enjoyed the curry goat takeaway - however, there was a lot of rice in comparison to curry hence the 3 stars. Regardless, not a bad meal for a tenner!

We love Nuxies and after moving to the area, would say that this has become our local takeaway treat. We are big fans of the jerk chicken, the jerk pork and the curry goat with the rice and peas and coleslaw. Plaintain also very good, as are the dumplings and mac and cheese. I've missed out on the salt fish fritters but these are the next things I need to try. Every time we order we say we will order something different but the usuals we get are still so good we never end up doing it. Meat always tender and succulent, good delivery or collection too! Huge portions which leave us always filled up but we eat every bit. Always recommend to neighbours and when we have friends visit as its just so tasty!

The flavour and spice is amazing just the right amount! The plantain is so juice and my jerk chicken so tender. I would highly recommend this little Gem in the heart of Biggleswade. They also deliver which is fantastic.

The jerk beef burger was perfectly seasoned and cooked to absolute perfection. The pineapple salsa created a zesty tang that tantalised the taste buds. The burgers salad was crisp and fresh and topped of with a succulent brioche bun. The coleslaw was creamy but provided a needed crunch and to finish off the chips were sublimely cooked and drizzled with a jerk sauce to create that hot hot hot in your mouth sensation. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

All authentic food, use your nose as you can smell how good it is a mile off! We had goat curry and jerk chicken. The goat was all prime chunks cooked to perfection with a amazing sauce, the chicken was of course on the bone and again cooked perfectly. Both came with rice&beans and coleslaw and the portions were VERY generous! Don't miss this place, it's delicious

This was our second visit to Nuxies Kitchen and it did not disappoint. Great Jamaican food, full of flavour. The jerk chicken was seasoned perfectly, was tender and fell off the bone. Peas and rice were cooked just right. Good portion sizes. Clean premises and friendly service. Undoubtedly we will be returning.

We have tried this place a couple of times as an alternative to Chinese or Indian takeaway recently. The portions are huge and freshly made to order. The meals are delicious and authentic. It can get very busy at a weekend and waiting times can be long or they may sell out of popular dishes. Very good value and very tasty food - great alternative.

I went in here on Christmas Eve (after Carol singing - she's not bad !) and joined in "The Boar's Head Carol" by the fire as I warmed up with a tankard of warm mead. I explained (but not in verse - as I'm NOT a Poet and know it). "Landlord" I said "Pigeon Feet Pie all round, for everbody !" to which he replied "Nobody fancy a square one then ? Or one with a haunch of squirrel, wot licked me in the kichen this very morning ?" I took him up on THAT and it tasted "grand" as the Irish say; or "Champion !" as Bill Anderson said before he launched into "Ilkley Moor, bar T'at". Once the singing started, it was Bedlam. George Druce gave us "There was an old farmer, who had an old sow" which Betty Andersen sang with several Ladies from the Luton Girl's Choir. I ordered more mead, port and stilton cheese, before - bless my soul if wasn't Mrs Cratchit (flushed but smiling) with the pudding - like a speckled cannon-ball, so hard and firm, blazing in half of half a quartern of ignited brandy, and bedight with Christmas holly stuck in the top. And the bill was only thruppence ! I ventured to propose the toast "A Merry Christmas to us all, my dears. God bless us !" And Tiny Tim, who was sat on a small stool by the fire cried "God bless us, every one !"
