Not been for a while, but throughly enjoyed our lunch. The atmosphere is friendly and welcoming, the staff are lovely and our food excellent

They advertise the best breakfast in Poulton and I have to agree. Quality of he food is top class and the staff are excellent. Fast and effecient service unlike Thyme.

Went here for breakfast yesterday and it really is the best breakfast ever! I had the nuvo breakfast and all the ingredients were extremely good quality, the poached egg was perfect, I had a pot of tea all it was all beautifully presented. My boyfriend had eggs Florentine which looks delicious and I don’t even like that kind of thing. We both then had a milkshake each and again extremely high quality. The food was brought out in a timely manner. The staff are really attentive and friendly. Prices were very reasonable and we will be back very soon :) the place also has a lovely atmosphere and was really tidy and clean

Really yummy food!!! Took the full family for breakfast & even my fussy two year old ate all her food! The sausages are the best I’ve ever tasted!

After being seated and handed menus..we sat for 20 minutes while other tables were sat and served..we never even had our drinks order taken..then as we left to go somewhere else we were thanked!! To which our reply was ‘for what?? We haven’t been served!!’..really disappointing.

We went for breakfast, staff were great and service was prompt, food very good and didn’t feel rushed, will be going back.

The service is always amazing & i’ll always continue to come back! Spent the evening celebrating in a big group. We booked for the bottomless Prosecco & we always had full flutes. Nuvo worked so well with me to organise this and ensured everyone was happy. I will always recommend a friday visit here🫧🫧🫧

Our family visited after a very quiet cremation and to say our goodbye to my Dad who passed away on July 2nd. The food was as good (as it always is after many visits). The best part is the lovely staff, service is excellent. One of my favourite restaurants for breakfast and Tapas.

Our first time here and on Father’s Day too so it was busy. We had a large breakfast, a regular breakfast and a Nuvo Hash. We’ve always found that a Full English Breakfast is usually a good test of a place and Nuvo passed with flying colours. The hash was excellent too, something a bit different. The staff were very busy but friendly, polite and efficient. We will be back to try lunch next time. You can also book a table which is something we really like.

1st visit for a while, service very good but so disappointed with the food quality, undercooked fatty bacon and the children’s pancakes tasted strange, a savoury onion aftertaste that must have been the griddle, I did complain and the waitress said she would tell the chef but nothing more said. £24 felt expensive for the quality.

Friendly staff, lovely setting, great menu, fabulous food. We went on a Saturday when the menu is different to other nights and there was a wide range of choices, including a pleasing number of gluten free options. I’ve eaten here twice and would recommend it. The food is a cut above.

The food at this place is amazing it just tasted so good, the humans was home made, the calamari was the best I have ever had and the sirloin steak was cooked to perfection, it’s nice to see Parmesan on the salad it adds just a little kick to the taste buns not enough places do this. What was also really nice was how casual it was. The staff were busy but they wee fun and took time to talk to you. We will be back :)

Went yesterday to have breakfast. Been using a well known pub for my breakfasts and I have grown sick of the quality. I was served by Katrina who was really happy in her job. Food was good quality and none of it was cold ( which is the reason I stopped eating elsewhere) will be back

What a brilliant night!! The Bottomless Brunch was a last minute idea which I’m glad we picked. Staff were amazing and friendly. They kept our glasses full of Prosecco and chatted to us throughout the night. The atmosphere was warm and cozy with low level lighting (which I was grateful for after a busy week of looking at my laptop). Loads of food options. We had 6 mixed tapas dishes of which the prawns and calamari were my favourite! Great value for money and the staff service made it even better.

First time in Nuvo and got to say what a find. We had a chicken gyro and my wife had the club sandwich. Both were good portion size and very tasty, the waitresses Mia and Katrina were friendly and helpful and will definitely be going back again, highly recommended.

A Lovely meet up with friends. We all had Sandwiches which we all enjoyed very much. Good value as you also get soup included. Great service from all Staff. Definitely visit again.

Food is excellent, the ambience is good, staff really friendly. I had a Sunday dinner, Mrs and Grandson had food from menu and every item was cooked perfectly and was plenty of it.

Needed somewhere for lunch and happened upon this restaurant. What a delightful place. Really nice atmosphere and well furnished. You can sit indoors or outside. Range of tapas, mains, and sandwiches. Really great food, reasonably priced and most importantly helpful and cheerful staff

We called in and they fitted us in. Service was spot on but the prices were silly. I mean it’s tapas and I didn’t expect to pay 9 quid for 5 meat ball. 8 quid for 3 pieces of broccoli. They recommend 3 dishes per person. That’s over 22 quid each. You could get a proper meal for that. 2 people quick meal two drinks each. 90 pounds. We were there less than 50mins And the vat is wrong on the bill

Salad garnishes on all dishes was limp Food was extremely average but prices were well above average! I ordered an elderflower fizz & it wasn’t, it was a lemon drink🫤 Manager was sorting out menus at bar so everything was all over one of the tables It looks really nice from the outside but overall the experience was very disappointing A solid 5 out of 10!

Incredible! We booked as a very large group and straight away the restaurant booking team were so accommodating. We had one allergy within the group and this was delt with respectfully and they made us feel like nothing was too much hassle regarding it. We had the bottomless Prosecco and there was no wait time for a refill, very good Prosecco too. The tapas were all larger portions and such high quality! I highly recommend this place, the staff, food quality, venue and drinks were all stop on!!!

Went with family late on Wednesday afternoon. Greeted by friendly staff. Service was attentive and all six of our party enjoyed their meals. Highly recommend as we will definitely be returning soon.

Usually pop in for their great breakfast. Decided to try their half price Tapas evening, every Thursday. Definitely recommend, would advise booking as quite busy. Staff friendly and happy to advise on dishes. No pressure to eat and leave or stay and drink, just around when required. Service was brilliant and food superb.

Recently had a girls night at nuvo on Saturday 4th December for 15 people, actually booking and getting it all sorted with the reservations team was pretty easy and straight forward but that’s where it ended … when we arrived it took half an hour to get a drink for half of the table and the other half waited a good 45 minutes. 3 of the dishes didn’t even arrive and one persons main course and only course (the one person who was 30 weeks pregnant) got nothing at all, but we was reassured as compensation for her that they weren’t going to charge her for her meal (how kind) or her 2 soft drinks. We tried to order drinks that never turned up, one girl ordered a rose 6 times before she got a drink and they had also tried to charge for 6 rose’s. When I mentioned I have the messages to show the manager on the night of amendments made and what should have come out her response was “I don’t deal with reservations so that’s nothing to do with me” very professional! She also blamed the the poor teenage girl who was the runner on the night when all she as doing was trying to get us drinks and food, I’m assuming the manager isn’t much of a team player seens as the responsibility ends with the manager. When the bill came we where charged for the meals that didn’t come (bar the main course for the pregnant lady) and a couple extras that where never even ordered. An automatic service charge which was refused considering all we had to deal with was a shirty manager and constant struggle of getting the meals right and even getting a drink. I won’t be returning or recommending and I don’t imagine the other 14 girls will be either! If you want to go out for a meal for a decent amount of you go somewhere bigger that can deal with the demand

We've been a couple of time in the last few weeks, since moving to the area. I've always been really impressed with the quality of the food...the Caesar salad and brunches stand out.Service is decent, the coffee is good and it all adds to a pleasant experience.

I thought being a tapas menu the items would be made fresh to order. I ordered the Calamari on arrival it looked gorgeous. However they hadn’t had the membrane removed. So every bite I pulled off a circular band. You couldn’t bite through it. I explained to the waitress who took it away. She came back and the explanation was”they come in like that from the supplier” Not fantastic as it showed they come in ready prepared. I was told this and it would be removed from bill. Rest of food was very good and serving staff were excellent. Maybe have a word with chef and possibly use fresh ingredients and prep them himself. If not elastic bands will be sent back and reputations ruined. I will go again as everything else was excellent.

I dont seem to venture into poulton much. However I was invited to a baby shower here and wow food was amazing. Ill definitely be heading to poulton soon and will definitely come to nuvo again! 100% recommend to friends and family. Service was also spot on. Reasonably price too.

Been here a few times for breakfast staff are lovely and very professional we always have poached eggs they could do with being a bit more soft than hard but that’s not to say we won’t go back it’s a a really nice place and coffee it’s really nice .

Four of us went for an early evening dinner yesterday. We chose 11 dishes from the tapas menu and everything was spot on - in fact they were some of the best tapas dishes we've had anywhere, even in Spain! Everything was served piping hot which is quite unusual with tapas. The staff were fantastic - attentive without being intrusive and so cheerful it was catching! They could definitely teach some other restaurants a thing or two about customer service. We'll be back very soon.

We went on a busy Saturday night for Tapas. The staff were lovely and went above and beyond for us. The food took a little longer to come but the way it was handled (polite and professionally) would make us come back in a heart beat! The food was really nice, we had a mixture of 7 dishes. The patatas bravas was amazing, as were the tempora prawns! And like I mentioned, the service was incredible. Definitely recommend for a nice local tapas restaurant.

Called in for lunch on speck. Warm welcome; book in via QR code; Staff masked; distanced tables; safe layout; feels safe. All this and a very nice lunch, pleasant staff, modern decor; good value. Food for us was sandwich which was served with a cup of home-made soup, lovely! Recommend the Club Sandwich! Coffee good too. Thanks for a pleasant and safe lunch.

I am so pleased I found this great coffee shop/restaurant and local to me too. Great atmosphere light and bright and friendly helpful staff. Started going there with a friend for breakfast, ordered my favourite, scrambled eggs and smoked salmon. Portion size was really good and lovely thick bloomer granary bread 2 slices. Decided to try the tapas procecco night with our friends and were we in for a treat, order 3 tapas and get refillable glass all night. Food was wonderful. It has become our favourite place for coffee and food.

Visited Nuvo today with my husband Charlie for lunch and we were not disappointed! Food was amazing! I had a panini with soup (best soup ever!) Charlie had a club sandwich....again he said it was the best he’s had! Usually go on a Thursday evening for the Tapas.. this is my favourite place to eat in Poulton!

A relatively new discovery for us but a very welcome one. Recently visited for Friday "Bottomless Prosecco" evening and were highly satisfied with quality and variety of dishes available, We chose 3 tapas dishes each and all were faultless in taste and beautifully presented. Service was friendly and super efficient. All dishes are cooked to order so a little patience may be necessary at times but well worth the wait. Next time we will try the Thursday night "50% off all tapas" offer. Looking forward to it. Having lived in Spain for 12 yrs I must say these tapas are as good as anything we have ever had in Spain. Have since made a second visit calling in for lunch and again been delighted with everything. This is fast becoming nuestro restaurante favorito.

My husband and I have visited Nuvo many times and always had a fab evening. Last night we visited the bottomless Prosecco Friday evening for the first time. Absolutely fabulous! Restaurant was lovely, candles on every table, soft music, the tapas as always were exceptional and the bottomless prosecco was exactly that....as soon as my glass was empty it was refilled by very attentive and lovely staff. Social distancing was observed, also the track and trace in place. Can't wait for our next Friday visit.Anne Dave

Tried breakfast here and was very pleased with what we received. It was hot and not too much. There was not grease on the plate. Track and trace in place by zapping code on the little stands they have. Social distancing in place.

Fabulous, we had breakfast this morning which I booked easily online yesterday . The table was ready and waiting for us when we arrived. The staff were really lovely. They wore a mask the whole time. I could see staff thoroughly cleaning as other customers left. I felt really safe. The food was delicious, the best vegetarian breakfast I’ve had! I will definitely be returning, highly recommend.

Food and service good. Unfortunately packed. No social distancing, No safe measures in place. Everone using same menus and condiments. No staff wearing masks. A shame because it's a nice place.

Called in here today with my wife for a coffee, asked by a stern looking woman behind the counter have we booked a table, no we haven't but only want a coffee, she pulled a face that would've turned milk sour. I wouldn't have minded but there was 3 tables outside vacant and 2 inside but she obviously didn't want our custom...Costa more welcoming Live and learn

Went here today. They were clean. Safe and had all precautions in place to follow covid 19 guidelines. We were served by Lisa who was friendly and helpful when helping us choose our order, she made us feel welcome as always. We had eggs Royale I would definitely recommend.

Being a smaller cafe it isn't as noisy as many are now. Plenty of natural light and excellent choice of food

It was okay but would we go back? Probably not.I booked our table for valentines and was told how busy it would be but all evening whilst we were there 7pm-8:30pm there were hardly any tables full.I booked our table through facebook messenger as the website wasnt allowing me to book and we pre-ordered starters and mains.They said they could "squeeze us in" at 7pm (evidenced in messages) which I agreed but on arrival, they had our table reserved from 7:15pm? We felt rather pushed out as we were seated in a cold little 3-table pocket near the door, not in the main restaurant which looked so much warmer and comfier.Our starters arrived and were lovely.Then our mains arrived. We had bother ordered medium-rare steaks (again evidenced in messages) however the waiter told us both steaks were medium when I doubled checked with him.Finally we ordered dessert with the woman who seemed like the manager/owner. I ordered brownie with pouring cream and my other half ordered biscoff cheesecake with pouring cream.Instead we recieved brownie with ice cream and cheesecake with whipped cream? I sent mine back.Check backs were also far too often and were annoying. We were checked back on 3 times by 3 different members of staff during our main course and asked atleast 5 times after our desserts if we wanted more drinks, each time we said no.Overall, we wouldnt rate this place, it was ok, nothing special, wouldn't return.

Had a lovely lunch. Sandwich came with a complimentary cup of soup which was absolutely delicious. Good to see lots of vegan options too.

Early booking, so table for 6 was great for accommodating all the dishes and drinks for 4 of us. Prompt service for all our choices which were then shared between us. Great selection and all dishes received with full satisfaction.Very enjoyable meal in relaxed surroundings.Will come again and recommend to anybody.Cheers Nuvo.

I won a meal for 2 here, the new 2 courses for £15.95 on a Saturday night.What a fantastic meal, not lots of choice but everything we both had was cooked to perfection.Starters we had Pheasant and a Brie.Main Ribeye Steak and Lamb Shank.All was very tasty and steak cooked exactly as requested.Staff were lovely , very friendly and always around if needed but not too much.Drinks were reasonably priced.Will definitely be returning loved it thank you.

Visited with a party of 11 and had been booked for some time. Three items were not available from the menu no chicken wings no lobster no sticky toffee pudding . Caesar salad arrived all brown lettuce had to be sent back . Arriabata arrived and was made with noodles not pasta and what looked like frozen chicken pieces . Food arrived at different times . Garlic breads have also shrunk to half the size of what they were . Very disappointed ☹️ won’t be returning . Had a bad experience at Christmas when a Christmas menu replaced the tapas menu which was the only reason I went!

Booked on the 9thJanuary (online ) seated at one off the two tables we asked for,the staff came over within two minutes of being sat down enquiring if drinks was wanted then came over quickly when we wanted to order the Tapas meals,the staff are very friendly and food very good we have been here a good few times now and cannot fault it at all the only downside was the cost of a bottle of wine but having the Tapas at 50% off for 5 dishes more than made up for that,will be back again.

Booked in for tapas during the Christmas period, we were taken to the table to be seated and about 5 minutes later somebody came to tell us there was absolutely no tapas left and about 3 dishes to choose from (it was 6pm) so obviously we got up and went elsewhere - extremely annoying considering we travelled 30 minutes for the reservation - you’d think they would have the decency to call bookings before hand to let them know half the menu was missing! Felt sorry for the waitress and she was visibly embarrassed when having to tell us!

Called in for coffee and toast as usual. The toast is first class,good bread is used. The coffee is good too. My friend says it is the best flat white in Poulton. Discount if you produce an Aldi receipt

We booked a table as we had heard alot of good things about this place. Bring honest though it was a let down. Food was alright, service wasn't great. I wouldn't go back. Just the atmosphere with the staff and the average food, there are nicer places for eat that are not as expensive as this.

I visited yesterday with a girl friend for lunch whilst we had a gossip and catch up after a hectic Xmas period. We had the club sandwich and soup, one portion was more than enough for us to share and was delicious. We spent a good few hours catching up over a few coffee's as we felt so relaxed. The staff were all very friendly and the service was great. Will be back again soon.

We booked for a party of 16 for a special birthday meal at least a fortnight in advance. They wanted £5 per person deposit plus to know what we all wanted in advance,, but we could only order from the day menu. Fair enough we thought, as it was booked for 27th December.

Took four of us at the last minute. Weren't we lucky. A fairly priced Xmas special menu that was lovely. Very friendly people who looked after us superbly.

We had a booking for 12 on a Thursday night, it was very quiet had the place to ourselves. The food was cooked to a high standard, I personally had the Ribeye steak which was delicious. General feeling was that the food was great. The service was okay nothing sparkling However there were enough of us to create our own party atmosphere!
