Extra ordinary amazing place and the food is really delicious, the staff is really amazing specially Helen. We always give order to Helen, what a lovely girl. Only suggestion want to give is to add some halal food in the menu.

Found this on Google maps from a search on our way home. What a find! A very warm welcome from staff. I've never had such a welcome from the owner/proprietor before, we only had coffee and patisseries, which were to die for, made locally by a very talented lady. Chris it's in our diary to come again, when the local farmers market is on, to make our hours journey all the more worth while. See you soon.

Quality of the food was good, however there was just too little of it! Tiny portions, so left feeling overcharged & underfed. Service ok, if on the slow side ( on not a particularly busy evening). Think I'd stick to it as a coffee/ brunch venue. Sorry!

Came across this place today after a hair appointment in the town. I’m not local so hadn’t visited before but what a lovely spot. It was lovely weather so I sat outside and enjoyed a lovely glass of wine and a delicious salad. I was a solo-diner and the gentleman who served me asked if I was ok dining alone and said he would happily join me on his imminent lunch break if I wanted him to. How lovely! I was happy to enjoy a child-free lunch so politely declined but I thought this was such a nice thing to offer. Reasonably-priced and a lovely location. Would definitely visit again.

Here’s a hidden gem. Great welcome. Great staff. Reasonably priced. And today we had a pulled lamb burger on a brioche roll. It was absolutely lovely. Well done number 16, we will definitely be back

I want to start my review by saying that I have visited number 16 before, numerous times, both for food and for beverages. The times I've visited before were lovely experiences, unfortunately after my most recent visit, my opinion has changed. I arranged to meet a friend in Bingham for a drink/coffee so we could talk and catch up, we considered Costa but I like to support more local business' so we chose Number 16. Upon entering it was busy, but tables were free, we were taken to a table and sat down, then the waiter/manager put the food menus down. We explained we didn't want to eat and the menus were removed. A short while later we had our drink orders taken, juice and a peppermint tea. They arrived fine and were as expected. This is where the experience went down hill, within 30 minutes of being there (20 minutes roughly of having our drinks) and talking, I was constantly distracted by numerous waiters staring at us, asking how the drinks were, walking by and seeing how much we had left, it was clear they wanted our table to the point where it was actually making me feel distracted and uncomfortable at how we were being rushed out the door. It was that intense my friend and I couldn't even have a conversation. The final straw was when the manager gave the waiter our bill, which we didn't ask for, and said they'd leave it there, a clear indication of wanting us to move our arses and that we were now an inconvenience. I appreciate we didn't eat, but it was just short of £6 for a tea bag with some water and a small bottle of juice. Our conversation was cut short and unfortunately i'll never choose to visit number 16 again.

Always friendly, good range on the menu and good food. Rarely disappoints. The bubble and squeak is excellent.

Amazing place, brilliant owner! As busy as this place is in the afternoon, it’s a totally different experience in the evening. A great atmosphere and even better menu. Food was delicious. Highly recommend! We’ll be back!

Exceptionally clean and fresh airy atmosphere. Good coffee, and fast efficient service. In a prime position on Bingham Square. Parking site nearby, and plenty of shops and market in this attractive village. Would recommend.

I took 28 ladies here for a Christmas lunch party, everyone has said how wonderful the food, service & atmosphere was, well done to all involved 👏

The staff were great and the food isn’t bad, not the best I’ve had though especially the granola it was just compote and granola and pretty much no yoghurt which was kinda weird

Really great food and a lovely setting however it felt like the staff were rushing us to finish the whole time! We asked for a few more minutes to decide on our food order to which the waitress came back about a minute later to ask if we had decided (she barely even gave us chance to open to menus), this happened twice more before we had decided on food, while the waitress was stood a few meters away staring at us to hurry up. 4 different people asked how the food was while we were eating (yes there is a thing as too attentive, no need to be asked more than once if everything is okay). We would’ve sat longer after finishing but the bill was brought straight over and drinks cleared before we’d even finished them!! There were a few people waiting by the door so they couldn’t get rid of us quicker!

1st time visit for evening meal. Food and in particular the service was 5☆

Very poor experience received by the staff. It took 25 minutes to get our drinks, despite the fact it wasn't that busy. Two other tables that arrived long after us got served and received their food before us. It was apparent that they completely forgot about our order. Our English breakfast got mixed up, we asked for pouched egg and got fried instead, we asked for brown sauce which we didn't get and had to ask twice for it. Absolute joke of a service. Very inattentive staff. I would recommend going to Butler's Coffee House which is way better and you actually feel looked after.

Quality food presented well. Service is what 'local customer care' is all about. A delightful cafe experience. Outside seating on the square is available too.

Was sat for 25 minutes and no one came to even ask to take drinks orders let alone food. We were told there would be a 10 minute wait on food but having not even been offered a drink while we wait was frustrating. We left to go to Gilt next door where we were served within 5 minutes of being seated.

Lovey spot to sit in the sun across the road! Fries were really great, steak sandwich and prawn Avocado sandwich fairly priced and very fresh! Cappuccino was perfect as was the service, everything came out very fast considering every table was full! Overall a lovely find!

Great place, the owner welcomed us in and was very friendly. We had a lovely salted Carmel cake each with hot chocolate and a cappuccino. The atmosphere was very relaxed, had great background music and the staff where all very attentive. Would recommend and definitely visit again when next in Bingham.

Love this place! I come here every time I come to Nottingham. The food is delicious with good portions, great quality produce and nicely presented. Went to Bingham and popped in for lunch,never been before,had the goats cheese salad and my husband had the steak sandwich,fantastic food,will definitely be back,lovely to sit in the sunshine,staff were all lovely and friendly 😊.

Fantastic brunch in the sun. My wife and I went for brunch today, and we will be back, my wife opted for the Eggs Benedict, which were perfect, eggs were just runny enough, while I opted for the pancake stack with banana and butterscotch syrup, the pancakes were light and fluffy, for dessert I went with the lemon and blueberries cake, this again was perfect. A final point is that were sat outside on the market cross, service was excellent and not rushed, staff are happy and very friendly, a highly recommend 10/10

Brunch Stopped in today for Brunch, but we actually sat outside in the Market Square, the food was excellent, my wife's Eggs Benedict were just runny enough, while my pancakes with banana and butterscotch were light and fluffy, coffee for my wife as normal but I opted for a banana milkshake, which was thick and very tasty, cake for dessert was lemon and blueberries this was so light and tasty. The staff are friendly but not overly hurried, it was very relaxed and we will be back again.

We found ourselves child free and craving brunch. After being told it was a 45 minute wait at the garden centre, we stumbled up No Sixteen in Bingham. Decorated smartly, we were quickly sat down. The staff are friendly and we had a good chat with them. We got our food and wow, what a breakfast selection. Never been to Bingham before, would return just for this delicious restaurant.

A well run and stylish café/restaurant in Bingham that has a good menu at a reasonable cost. I had a breakfast brunch which included a really tasty sausage from a very local butcher and an excellent black pudding that could well have been supplied by the same butcher.

Music too loud! Hence people have to shout loud to be heard. Besides that good service and food.

Was disappointed in the food, it was nicely cooked and presented understandably the prices have increased but nothing on the day menu is worth more than £11. Good service though.

Not impressed, busy so I suppose it’s popular . Called in for a coffee at 12:00 and received a very cold welcome , reluctant to give us a table and advised we had 30 minutes ! Took 15 mins to serve a very poor flavoured and weak coffee. Looked through the menus and considered the prices extremely high but perhaps an unfair comment as I haven’t tried the food. Wouldn’t return to try though .

Had a booking for valentine's day, was much quieter than expected, but we still had to wait 20-30 mins for them to even take our order, after our order was taken the food did come out quickly, but after we finished it took them over half an hour to bring us the bill. Good food and friendly staff but very disappointed with the speed of service, really threw off our valentine's plans.

Top quality food with a twist.Very nice atmosphere and all the staff are at a different level to other eateries. When I visit Bingham again this will be my first choice.I can't wait.

Had lunch at Number Sixteen today - our first time and definitely not our last. Service with a smile from all staff. Food was freshly cooked, hot and so very tasty. Looking forward to returning and maybe checking out the evening menu.

We were met by lovely front of house and seated straight away. The menu isn't huge but varied which makes it easier to pick. Everything looked amazing. Our food can out hot and freshly made and super tasty. We will definitely return and I would highly recommend this little gem, outstanding food and lovely, friendly staff. Thank you.

Number Sixteen is spot on. It’s in a convenient location overlooking Bingham Buttercross Memorial on Market Square 🙂 Chris and his team are always welcoming. They're friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. For a pre-Christmas catch up we couldn’t have picked a better venue. We opted for: ☕️ Tea & coffee 🥚 Spinach omelette served with homemade Boston beans, cheese and crispy bacon off the specials menu. This had been enthusiastically sold to us and were sooo glad it was! I would have been jealous if Sue had this and I hadn’t. It was mouthwateringly good. FINAL WORD: It’s not my first time here and it certainly won’t be my last.

It's a classy and well presented eatery, but also has a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere for everyone. Food is very well made, drinks are good and the price is reasonable.

Superb friendly and attentive service, particularly Chris who was charming. Very tasty and fresh food, a great place to visit. Reasonably priced given portion size and quality. The cakes looked like doorstops, although we were too full following our sandwiches and chips to try them. We dropped in on the off chance and were very pleased that we did.

Celebrated with friends here on Friday night and it was a great choice. I had the best steak I've eaten in ages and we enjoyed a variety of tarts for dessert. The new decor is tasteful and stylish, and the host and serving staff so attentive and welcoming. All my friends are keen to return to dine here again.

We went for Breakfast today, atmosphere was just perfect. The food was delicious and really well presented and will definitely eat there again. Host was just fantastically friendly and funny he made our day.

Staff were very friendly and professional. Service was of high standard and provided in a timely fashion. It was lovely to sit on Bingham Square which has great atmosphere. My only quibble would be that this place is quite expensive, I paid £9 for an English breakfast and got 1 sausage, tiny portion of baked beans and no hash brown. I think you can put up with the price due to being sat on Bingham Square. As a suggestion I'd recommend adding a bigger breakfast option to the menu.
