Nouvelle at the Black Horse in Wirral

Eaten here twice. Sunday roast and a Thursday night steak. Excellent food. Quality products and well cooked. Really. Great staff and great time. Support this place as it would be such a shame to lose it.

We had burger and chips, steak (fussy husband said very good and as requested, rare) and fish and chips and couldn’t fault any of it. Waitress was excellent. Would recommend.

The Black Horse has recently reopened with a great new landlord Carl who is super friendly and very helpful, along with his lovely staff. They also have gastro pub food from Nouvelle which is amazing, I have eaten there at least 4 times and always beautifully presented and tastes fabulous. Highly recommended

Lovely little pub in Heswall. Never been before but was amazing on how good the food was. We popping in for a family celebration and will definitely return. The Lamb was unreal

Had lunch on Saturday, Really good food. Lovely cosy atmosphere. Friendly staff. Will definitely be recommending to everyone.

We're new to the Wirral and seen this great pub advertise on Facebook and what a great place to eat. We had mixed Croquettes to start and then the Lamb. We can praise the quality of the ingredients enough. We can't wait to come back and try the Sunday Roast. Very welcome staff too.
