I ordered Yangzhou fried rice and beef rice noodles. The ingredients were rich and delicious, and the taste was unexpectedly good. It adds to the pleasure of traveling. It is a good restaurant worth recommending! 😋

Food portions are ridiculously small and overpriced for what you get. The meals were all cold, the salt and pepper platter had about 10 chips, no meat on the ribs, the chicken was just batter. We spent £145 and it definitely was not worth it.

North Garden is an excellent, authentic Cantonese restaurant. The staff are really friendly and the food is delicious. There is an extensive menu, with banquets also available. Food is very reasonably priced. The sweet and sour pork, salt and pepper ribs, king do ribs, prawn and vegetables with vermicelli noodles all lovely. Note that this restaurant only accepts cash. There is some street parking outside and more very close by. This restaurant is well worth a visit.

As always the food and service were great. I have been eating here for 20 years with my family and on every occasion we have a delicious meal. It was my mother's birthday and they made a lovely fuss of her, nothing intrusive just kind and genuine. The team here are always very friendly and welcoming. It was the first time we visit this restaurant as the Yuet Ben wasn’t open on a Tuesday. The food was lovely. Our daughter had ribs done in their own sauce which she enjoyed. The curry and lemon chicken were great and the chow main was also. Generous portion sizes and wonderful fried rice. The staff were attentive. The only thing which disappointed us was that they didn’t make the toffee apples or banana fritters and had a desert menu of ice creams similar to some of the Indian restaurants.

This popular restaurant is usually busy! We had the Fried Vermicelli Noodles in Singapore style. It was cooked in spices with a lovely smoky taste. The Half roast Duck was good too! Sauce goes well with sticky rice. Recommended 💯

Great food, it was absolutely delicious. Everything was cooked to perfection and seasoned superbly. The staff are great too, so friendly and welcoming. We will definately be back.

Still the best chinese in liverpool. Haven't been there for a few years but it's still the same as ever, nice peaceful environment, fresh and delicious food, reasonably priced. Can't ask for anymore, will be going back very soon.

Sehr leckere Süß-Saure Suppe, sogar mit Shrimps drin. Kann ich empfehlen. Finde ich besonders gut. Nudeln mit Schweinefleisch auch lecker, aber nicht wirklich was besonders. Fast einen Tick zu salzig. Service war perfekt und das Ambiente passt zum China town. Alles tatsächlich genau so wie es zu erwarten war.

Took daughter out for lunch and didn’t want to leave. Fantastic food and plenty of it! Delicious dim sum - especially the scallops. Will eagerly return when I revisit the area

Really disappointed. The place was packed which I thought was a good sign. Rice dish had a hair in it so we didn’t eat the main courses l. Soup and starters ok but no wow.

Looks tired on the outside, however was a gem inside. Staff attentive & friendly, with a good pace of service. Nice to have the choice of 2 menus, one was traditional chinese fayre. Food was fresh, hot & delicious, non greasy even the fried foods. Clean & a good temperature. We would definitely return to North Garden when next visiting Liverpool.

Ordered food for delivery as restaurant is only 10 min away in car. Was told 1.5 hours and received it after 2 hours 10 mins and it was cold. Portions are extremely small for the price. Not worth it.

My favourite Chinese in Liverpool. I specifically enjoy crispy roast pork and roast duck and there is not many places you can order this even in the UK never mind Liverpool. Mostly available in china towns. All the food here is lovely though never had a bad meal and chose to celebrate my birthday here on Monday 5th of December.

Great service, great food and good house red. My favorite late night Indian restaurant of many years (Asha on Bold street) seemed to have closed down so I headed for China town. This place seemed busy (lots of Chinese diners - always a good sign ) so gave it a try. Chicken & Sweet Corn soup - ok could have been a bit tastier Crispy duck - amazing Sweet and sour chicken - excellent Service very good ! I’ll visit again!

As a visitngChinese American, this is very authentic food. The staff try so hard to make you happy, they are understaffed but work hard. And the bathrooms arthe cleanest I have ever seen in a restaurant! Love this place so much.

Unfortunately my partner appears to have got food poisoning from the North Garden last night. It's the only food he had differently to usual, all day. But a couple of hours after his chilli beef meal, he had all the symptoms of food poisoning.

Food was everything than Chinese foods I knew around the world. We ordered several kind of foods and none tasted as Chinese food, even the duck which is a standard was tasting very different. I tried curry sauce with duck and it wasn't curry nor duck. Never recommend to anyone.

Visited here whilst in Liverpool, after recommendation from hotel. Right by the China Town Gate, Large servings, not as appetising as some meals I've had but the quantity was huge & we certainly didn't need anything else that night. 😁

Lovely staff, friendly, homely feel restaurant. The best chinese food is right here. Been here for years and it's still tastes great everytime.

Quick service. Good food. Car park easy and free after 6pm. Opens till wee hours. Would recommend har kau, siu mai and wanton soup as starters with chilli oil. For the main try ma po bean curd dish, roast duck with char siew, beef black pepper, broccoli with garlic and king prawn salt and pepper.

Amazing staff, quality ingredients and a vast authentic menu!! 10/10, I would definitely visit again! Will be taking the whole family next time!

Best Chinese restaurant in Liverpool by miles in my opinion Been eating from here for over 25 years tried 100s of other Chinese restaurants in or around Liverpool and none of them are in the same league as this place. My girlfriend is the fussiest person ever when it comes to Chinese food and even she says it's the best one about. Please try this place out you won't be disappointed.

Called in on the off-chance of a table on a very busy day (Chinese New Year celebrations). Met by friendly, helpful staff who quickly organised a table for us. We chose a set menu and were not disappointed. Food arrived promptly, was hot and tasty - couldn’t fault any of it, probably one of the nicest we’ve had in our many years of eating Chinese food! Would definitely recommend & will return.

My new favourite Chinese restaurant. The service was lovely and the food even better, we got a set menu for two and all of it was so nice. We wanted to get so much more but knew we wouldn't finish it so decided on the set menu for our first time, however all the other food others in the restaurant got looked amazing and we can't wait to try it. Definitely a place I will go back to and recommend.

Went last night with friends for quick meal. Staff friendly enough but food well below standards that you would expect considering it’s location in china town. Had crispy duck that was burned to a crisp. Spring rolls that had no taste and meat platter that had generic taste. Would never go back.

Superb food, always fresh and piping hot! Visited 3 nights in a row, it was that good!!!

As it was my Birthday I looked online and chose this restaurant because it looked good on the Internet, how wrong can you be, it was disgraceful. The food was expensive, not much choice, and was very low quality. The restaurant was very scruffy and dirty and in need of a full refurbishment. We didn't have a big meal but the bill for two was nearly £45, well overpriced. Avoid this place, I am sure there are many good restaurants in Liverpool, this is definitely not one of them.

The wife and I had travled up from London for a weekend away in Liverpool. After spending the day exploring the city we happened upon this lovely little restaurant. We had prawn toast, beef in black bean, sweet and sour prawns and egg fried rice. It was delicious and exceeded our expectations! Although that doesn't sound like a big meal we were glad we didn't order anything else as the portions are very generous. All this plus drinks came to less than £40, which I think was very good value for what we got. Staff were very friendly attentive. Would recommend!
