Disgusting. Served me dried out old chips. I wouldn't give this to a dog and I threw it in the bin 5 mins after I paid for it. Food hygiene rating 1. Avoid

Absolutely beautiful the only slight problem was the spice of curry to a bit of the batter - but it was only slight and all the food was really well cooked and red hot and delivered early! Many thanks.

Absolutely disgusting. Why is my batter spicy. My mother hates spicy food and it was the first thing she had eaten all day. So unhygienic the man was wearing a long black cardigan. This place should be shut down. I wish I could give a 0 star review as this is ridiculous. 😡

onlu complaint was i oredered large fish n chips and got knly small hand full of chips but tasty food

Fish batter had spice in it, and was undercooked. Tasted awful. Fish wasn't tasty at all, grey, thin. Chips almost raw. It was all greasy and the fat could be tasted all afternoon. The server didn't speak clearly, couldn't understand a word, and was wearing outdoor clothing. Vinegar watered down, couldn't smell or taste it. I've had some manky fish and chips over the years but this is the first time I've thrown a portion away. Avoid this chippy.

Ordered fish and chips, The fish was rubbery also the batter was like it had chilli powder mixed in. Was absolutely terrible as to why they had to spice the batter!. Also hygiene standards wasn't adhered to as chap serving wore a leather jacket no protective clothing or hat worn. Very Unacceptable to be preparing food. Avoid and go a little further down road to a long standing fish and chip shop which we saw later on after purhasing from them instead.

I ordered a fish butty with mushy peas, I got fish and chips and mushy peas. I decided to keep what they had sent but the batter was really thick on the fish and the chips under cooked. I could only eat the fish without batter. Not impressed even though I've bought from them before.

Crook fishery absolute rubbish advertise false prices charges more after and food quakity bad burnt chips and fish that contained 20 percent fish rest batter as i say crook fishery!!

Purchased 4 portions of fish and chips for tea for the family they were awful the fish tasted oily and batter was cooked in a weird spice which just got left we were all very poorly afterwards for 5 days which I believe to be food poisoning resulting from the fish nd chips we purchased would not recommend at all.

Ordered on Uber eats and they cancelled after 45 mins, 5 min after it was supposed to be delivered, I rang up and they said it was because they couldn’t find the address (it’s not hard to use google maps or ring to ask) but the woman on the phone didn’t seem to know what was going on. No phone call and no communication. Took the money without giving a refund. Avoid

Truly shocking fish and chips. Hideous oily batter, greasy chips and everything seemed doused in pepper for some bizarre reason. Without doubt the worst fish and chips we’ve ever had the misfortune to attempt to eat. AVOID!

The food was disgusting. The batter was so thick and not crisp at all. I had to take it off the fish and it was so greasy that the fat was dripping down my arm as I peeled the batter off.

Ordered large fish and chips, hardly any chips. Horrible rubbery batter on the fish, hardly any fish inside. Mushy Peas were full of water. Won't be ordering again!

Where do I start.. The food was COLD! The large fish and chips were a small! The large fish butty was tiny! The mushy peas were just water and hard peas! The food was tasteless! Wasted my money and the only takeaway I allow myself each week. Don't waste your time and money with nook fishery u will be disappointed.

Me and my friend came up during our break at college and needed something to eat. We were going to go to sainsbury’s nearby and it was too busy and decided to try here. Best choice we have ever made! Customer service was horrible they tried to overcharge me then when i tried to question it the owner got aggressive and said i was having a go at him because he's asian and i should go to an English run shop. Food was average at best.

Driver tried to get an extra £3.50 off me saying he travelled 7 miles here ( it's 5.4 miles according to google maps ) and wouldn't believe that i had paid it on just eat. The lass on the phone even admitted she didn't have a clue etc. They even missed off some of the order ! I'm up here on holiday and yeah i'll be avoiding this place like the plague.

Had their gluten free fish and chips. The owner is very friendly and helpful he shows you the gluten-free batter and talks you through everything he has three fryers one just for chips, one for normal and then one for gluten free so the chips are not contaminated been cooked in the same fryer. Would definitely recommend

Finally found a chip shop selling Gluten Free fish. Tasty and crispy.

Driver made me walk 5 minutes to pick up my food that I ordered to address and then had to ring up twice and women on phone was no help, food turned up and it was freezing and had to leave most of it as I hate food that’s cold.

Driver could not find us, spent at least 20 mins out in n the street trying to direct him to our house. We would suggest you Use the what three words app for accuracy. Ordered a cheese and onion pie which never came as we paid for, but got an extra portion of chips instead which we did not need or want. Tried calling restaurant to rectify but no answer.

Thick chewy greasy batter on fish, then fish seemed like the cat had a right good chew on it before being battered, think it had been under the hot lamp too long, think its about time I went elsewhere
