The fish and chips arrived cold and were the fish and chips were soggy and tasteless. The fish was extremely small and the gravy was thin, lumpy and tasted awful.

One star is too many… confirming everything just to pay for food and than saying no salads no sauce, just salt …

This was the best takeaway ever in the Huddersfield and I would highly recommend this place to fish and chips lovers the delivery's are amazing thr food the service all to the point where I come here every single week and the only restaurant I go to so this place on a scale to one to ten to be a nine point nine for me and the staff are so welcoming it's fun and food is amazing they care so much about their customers and THERE PRICES ARE SO LOW!! So pls come down here they are so busy alot of customers please come to this very nice place thanks you!!!😄😄

Overall I am happy with my service, they didn't have an item and we came to an agreement and they even popped a few free items for the inconvenience which is always appreciated. Food was nice, good curry sauce which is a biggie for me

Chips were cold and hard and the fish batter was very greasy the fish was dry.

Honestly the worst fish and chips I've ever had. Most ended up in the bin. This was not just 'deterioration on travelling' which I get is a thing with fried food. This would have been nasty even if it were fresh. There is no way that the fish I got was fresh from a fishmonger. It was defrosted from a wholesaler. Dry, flavourless and disappointing. All wrapped up in bad batter. Never again.

Worst fish and chips I've EVER had. Never know a fish and chip shop to have fosh ready made and not make thek fresh to order. Chips seem to be days old, rock hard, dried up and flat cold Further more I think this place is bordering on dangerous/negligent in terms of being aware of allergens. Asked if the batter contains milk or egg due to allergy. Lady serving me was clueless at best and point to a sheet in front of her which was just honestly laughable. Had like 5 items on. Contained no info around ingredients in fish batter/gravy and lady serving couldn't tell me. Was told they did not sell small fish and chips so I had to buy medium, even though small was advertised on the menu board. This place needs shutting down.

Guy made us wait to order because he was playing a game on his phone. Didn’t actually cook anything for 20 minutes whilst we waited, just continued to play a game on his phone. Carried on playing whilst he was wrapping our food having not cooked anything. Not sure why it took 20 minutes. Not surprised no one else was there. Absolute joke. Will not be back.

Absolutely beautiful the only slight problem was the spice of curry to a bit of the batter - but it was only slight and all the food was really well cooked and red hot and delivered early! Many thanks.

Fish batter had spice in it, and was undercooked. Tasted awful. Fish wasn't tasty at all, grey, thin. Chips almost raw. It was all greasy and the fat could be tasted all afternoon. The server didn't speak clearly, couldn't understand a word, and was wearing outdoor clothing. Vinegar watered down, couldn't smell or taste it. I've had some manky fish and chips over the years but this is the first time I've thrown a portion away. Avoid this chippy.

Ordered fish and chips, The fish was rubbery also the batter was like it had chilli powder mixed in. Was absolutely terrible as to why they had to spice the batter!. Also hygiene standards wasn't adhered to as chap serving wore a leather jacket no protective clothing or hat worn. Very Unacceptable to be preparing food. Avoid and go a little further down road to a long standing fish and chip shop which we saw later on after purhasing from them instead.

I ordered a fish butty with mushy peas, I got fish and chips and mushy peas. I decided to keep what they had sent but the batter was really thick on the fish and the chips under cooked. I could only eat the fish without batter. Not impressed even though I've bought from them before.

Purchased 4 portions of fish and chips for tea for the family they were awful the fish tasted oily and batter was cooked in a weird spice which just got left we were all very poorly afterwards for 5 days which I believe to be food poisoning resulting from the fish nd chips we purchased would not recommend at all.

Ordered on Uber eats and they cancelled after 45 mins, 5 min after it was supposed to be delivered, I rang up and they said it was because they couldn’t find the address (it’s not hard to use google maps or ring to ask) but the woman on the phone didn’t seem to know what was going on. No phone call and no communication. Took the money without giving a refund. Avoid

The food was disgusting. The batter was so thick and not crisp at all. I had to take it off the fish and it was so greasy that the fat was dripping down my arm as I peeled the batter off.

Ordered large fish and chips, hardly any chips. Horrible rubbery batter on the fish, hardly any fish inside. Mushy Peas were full of water. Won't be ordering again!

Me and my friend came up during our break at college and needed something to eat. We were going to go to sainsbury’s nearby and it was too busy and decided to try here. Best choice we have ever made! Customer service was horrible they tried to overcharge me then when i tried to question it the owner got aggressive and said i was having a go at him because he's asian and i should go to an English run shop. Food was average at best.

Driver tried to get an extra £3.50 off me saying he travelled 7 miles here ( it's 5.4 miles according to google maps ) and wouldn't believe that i had paid it on just eat. The lass on the phone even admitted she didn't have a clue etc. They even missed off some of the order ! I'm up here on holiday and yeah i'll be avoiding this place like the plague.

Had their gluten free fish and chips. The owner is very friendly and helpful he shows you the gluten-free batter and talks you through everything he has three fryers one just for chips, one for normal and then one for gluten free so the chips are not contaminated been cooked in the same fryer. Would definitely recommend
