No.61 Pizza in Chorley

Ordered a veggie pizza from here which was strictly ok. The delivery was prompt though.

We decided to eat in (there are a few tables) and service was good and staff very friendly. Pizzas were lovely, hot and tasty. Would definitely recommend!

Tried to visit here just before 8pm on Tuesday 13th. We didn't book, the staff told us it was too late to get served. No last orders stated on the website. Will not be wasting time and visiting again.

Half price pizza Tuesday, not only is it cheap but amazing quality, Had a handmade pizza and drink for 7 quid , what else needs to be said

3rd worst take away I’ve ever had 1st worst pizza I’ve ever had 1 of the slices didn’t even have toppings on. It was very expensive over 30 pounds for two pizzas and one portion of fries.

I have placed an order tonight for a pizza anfries, the order was placed at 7.55pm and at 8.04pm I received a notification that it was ready for delivery. My order eventually arrived at 8.50pm and the whole lot was stone cold, so had clearly been sat for 46 minutes before it was delivered. I tried to contact the restaurant to complain but nobody picked up so had to leave a message, they haven’t returned my call. I did reheat it in the oven and upon taking a bite into my second slice I felt something hard and found a plastic ‘press open’ tab off a bottle! I never complain about bad food, I just won’t revisit if something is bad, but the service, quality of food, and shockingly bad care / hygiene of food from No 61 is disgraceful!

nice decor, spacious booth style seating, you can see the pizza being made, so tasty, will defiantly be returning, red salt chips very nice also.

Been meaning to come for a while, finally did and we were not disappointed, although we were absolutely stuffed! Dough balls were amazing, vegan pizza was delicious, good cocktails and good service too! We'll be back for sure, thank you for a lovely meal 😋

Przyjaźnie wyglądające miejsce z zewnątrz w środku ładny nowoczesny minimalistyczny wystrój. Obsługa sympatyczna niestety trochę nie zna zasad kolejności podawania dań. Zamówiliśmy przystawkę 'drożdżowe kulki z masłem' i frytki które dostaliśmy razem z pizza. Odnośnie jedzenia ciasto drożdżowe dobre choć mogło by być lepsze takie 7/10, niestety dodatki do pizzy jak i kulek były słabe. Masło ' wegetariańskie' (czytaj margaryna czosnkowa) do kulek powinno być opcją, brak oliwy z oliwek do pizzy stylizowanej na włoską. Poprosiłem kelnera o oliwę dostałem olej najprawdopodobniej rzepakowy wystarczyło powiedzieć, że nie ma niż robić z ludzi głupków.

Lovely pizza with atmosphere. We went on a Tuesday and didn't realise that they had an offer on. What a bargain!

Had a super meal here. Pizzas are 10/10! Food, staff & cleanliness all spot on. Will definitely be returning.

I absolutely love this place. From the vibes and energy from the staff, ambience and food standards and quality. Everything is superb. I've waited a long time to have a proper pizza in Lancashire, since moving here 5 years ago. My partner and I have also ordered this pizza through the Chorley Eats app, it arrived a little squashed and without extra chips we've ordered. I've fed this back through the app, received a phone call from No61 pizza place and they've sent us a new order of freshly made pizzas and chips. All I can say is, I'm a customer forever.🥰

We ordered 3 pizzas, 2 garlic bread with cheese and 3 fries, we were all very disappointed. The chilli beef pizza was tasteless, the pizza dough had a strange smell and taste and we couldn't eat them. Chips were soggy. Just a waste of money, was really looking forward to a good pizza, I would have been better getting them from a supermarket!

Had a lovely experience with family yesterday the food was so fresh and one of the nicest pizza that I ever had, fries are so delicious and the dipping sauces were great, customer service was wonderful, thank you for the great time that we all had.

First time trying this place and I wasn't disappointed. The food was amazing. It's a 'proper' pizza place. You notice as soon as you walk in and smell the herbs and see the huge pizza oven! We were seated upstairs but the staff were happy still to bring our order up. We thought they had forgotten our chips, but they were on their way up! The prices are really good. All the pizzas were in the £10-£15 price range which was worth it. The only problem we had was that we were sat under a speaker so the music was quite loud. But it won't stop us coming back again. It was definitely worth the trip.

Good wood-fired pizza made fresh and priced reasonably. Staff were super friendly as well. Plenty of seating, great place for parties, would go back again

Very average pizza for an pizza restaurant unfortunately. Cold toppings on the pizza, hardly any sauce, crust was dry and doughy.

My daughter and I came for lunch today and I’m seriously impressed with the friendly staff - really accommodating and couldn’t do enough for us. The pizza and garlic breads were blooming delicious- definitely be back.

We went with friends last night and can guarantee we will be back again 👍🏻 Staff are friendly and seating is well laid out with tables and large booths. The menu is clear with a great selection and the hand made pizzas are to die for! The dough is so fresh and delicious and the toppings done to perfection. 7 of us enjoyed the bottomless brunch on Saturday afternoon. We had pizza, a choice of fries and unlimited drinks for the hour and half slot that we had booked. The choice of drinks was varied and included some cocktails. It was excellent value for money and we will definitely be calling again.

Came here to a birthday party, in their upstairs function room. Very good pizza and food. Good selection of beers and drinks. Menu looked pretty good with a good selection. I think I'll be back to take the wife here at some point. Nice looking restaurant.

Came with a group of 5 and everything was perfect easily the best pizza ive ever had and great service Will be back in the very near future.

Came here for brunch, the food arrived quicky and was delicious, the service was 10/10, the staff were extremely warm and welcoming. I can not wait to return and will certainly be recommending no 61 to everyone I know.

went on a works night out, granted there were 16 of us, but the service wasn't great and the pizza not that great either burnt on the outside raw inthe middle

Most perfect venue for our babyshower, Julie (I’m guessing who’s the owner) was lovely and suited all of our needs, let us come early to set up during the day, kept updating us throughout the evening on certain things, food was fab! Pretty much all demolished! Everyone loved it! Especially the mummy-to-be!! Thankyou so much Julie and No61 staff working this evening! Xx

I couldn't fault the pizza and selection of beer. We would visit again. Took a while for the staff to take our order / get a drink, apart from that it was excellent.

This is by far the best pizza in chorley! Its the best dough we have tasted outside of Italy 10/10 ☺️

Amazing food, my partner and I had the cheese garlic bread to share and he had the pig pizza and I just had a margarita. The service started well for the first 20minutes but then it went downhill. We were never asked for another round of drinks, the main took 30minutes to come after the starter. When the pizza came, we asked for a round of drinks. After 10minutes these didn't came and at that point we had finished our pizza so asked to cancel the drinks and pay the bill. The service really lets the place down.

Great place for pizza with friends in Chorley town centre. The space upstairs is excellent for a small private function The service is first class , the pizzas & coleslaw delicious The staff are helpful and friendly Would highly recommend

Love the food here pizzas are so tasty. Sometimes it can be a bit difficult to get staffs attention once you have your food. Beer choices are great. Good plant based menu too. Lovely little place in the centre of Chorley. Will definitely be back.

Nice pizzas the sides are too over priced though not worth having but apart from that the staff are friendly.

Tricky to review as food is good, not cheap but a nice pizza so big tick so far. Then it all goes wrong. You have the table for 1 hour so you are aware that the clock is ticking. Food arrived after 40 minute wait very aware now that the clock is ticking. Ordered a second drink whilst waiting and at the hour mark table starts to finish. Plates removed as people finish so you are aware that your presence is no longer wanted and remaining eater needs to get a move on. All feels rushed for a bill of 60-70 pounds.

Pizza wqs like warm, had sloppy slimy base of which toppings fall off and had zero flavour, we did opt for a vegetarian however just tasted like raw dough. Orderd a side of garlic mushrooms, which just seemed to be boiled mushrooms full of water in a pot and charged £1.50 for a tub of sauce!

Some of the best pizzas around having visited on numerous occasions over the last year and a half. Definitely recommend booking a table and eating in. Fantastic drinks selection and lovely atmosphere. A must try if your looking for a delicious pizza!

Wow! At last a Neopolitan style Pizza in England - this is the place for a real authentic pizza. Wonderful home made pizza dough, great toppings and not too big a choice to ensure the very best. Concentrating on their delicacy of pizzas proves their expertise. You have to try the pizzas here. Awesome.

First time here, I remain undecided. We were a walk-in table for 2 on NYE at around 3pm in the afternoon. It was quiet in the venue downstairs and although we asked for a booth in the window we were seated upstairs where most/al tables were reserved. Venue itself is okay, quiet atmosphere, clean enough. The food is where I remain undecided. It’s a pizza place where the pizzas we had were quite average. No complaints over the dough, that seemed well made and proved and light etc. but the toppings and cookery let it down. Our server recommended The Pig which was topped with pulled pork and I asked if it was made on site too - which it was. Pizza arrived with chunks of plain pork on top. When I questioned this I was told ‘there’s been a problem with the delivery, so we’ve replaced it’. Not great, and not my problem. The toppings were also watery and wet on my pizza, and the vegetarian one had uncooked toppings. The server offered to replace mine so I chose something else which arrived okay. The slaw also was supposed to be made with cabbage, onion and carrot but there was no onion (I didn’t flag that, no point). They did also take it off my bill which was a surprise and greatly appreciated but can’t make up for the food itself. I only want what is being sold to me on the menu.

Love this place - great selection of pizzas, and an excellent range of beers. Only minor niggle was a relatively soft base on the last visit; tricky for kids to pick up a slice without toppings sliding off. Nothing a knife & fork couldn't fix, though!

Before we’d even got our pizza (we ordered takeaway) I knew it’d be amazing, the place itself was clean, and looked beautiful. The staff were so lovely and friendly too. The pizza was fantastic, very light but filling with plenty of topping, the fries with red salt were really nice too. Even though we weren’t local to the area, I’d definitely consider coming back for a sit down meal.

I was expecting just another pop-up 'stone-baked' pizza place like so many others that have recently opened but I was so wrong, the pizzas are amazing, one of the best I have ever had. The drinks menu is great and they even have thier own house lager. The decor is fairly simple but it looks brilliant and the service was second to none, I would highly recommend No.61 to anyone and I'm looking forward to my next visit.

Visitors on 4 occasions now. Pizzas light thin bases good enough for an afternoon or an evening. Decent choice of beer and wine with really attentive staff. Had a slight delay tonight due to a birthday, the team were informative and friendly. Deserved praise

Yummy! This is right on my doorstep...cant believe I haven't been sooner! We called in quite late evening after our usual eating place was closed. So lucky for us it was! It is just pizza on the menu, with choices of sides to accompany. When I say 'just' pizza....unless you aren't a fan ....these are AMAZING pizzas , a fabulous smokey fired taste on the dough, lovely thin base with soft crust edge. Served with your own mini cutter and knife and fork, side plates if you wish. Very friendly, helpful staff A nice selection of drinks to suit most tastes. Oh, I didn't mention the fries....sooo...tasty, but order your own - don't share!! Seating downstairs is in booths looking put into the high street, and there is more seating upstairs, ( stairs to access) toilet is upstairs also. A fantastic find - we will be back!

The last review by some random Dave is total hocum. We had a family meal at No.61 with drinks, sides and a range of delicious pizza. This was our first visit and the service was exemplary, the pizza was high quality and all reasonably priced. What's not to like... glad Chorley has such a good local pizzeria - try it.

Waited 2 hours and still no pizza...We made our second visit 2 weeks ago on a Wednesday evening after enjoying the first visit but unfortunately this visit was shocking. It was empty when we arrived and was only half full at its maximum but after waiting for nearly 2 hours all we had was our garlic bread starter. The pizza mains still hadn’t arrived. Despite requesting an update on waiting time no-one updated us. We left after paying in full for the starters after being there 2 hours, only to be told that they were doing takeaway orders as a priority. There were 2 other parties that left before getting their mains, again being told they were focusing on takeaways. Shame but we won’t be back.

Best pizza I've had since I was in Italy

ordered via messenger and the staff were more than helpful, pizza was ready within 20 minutes to collect. absolutely spot on, probably would’ve been even better fresh. i would definitely go again

Terrible pizza was burnt and tasted of charcoal and when I asked for it to be changed the served he said he wont do that , all of our pizzas were burnt and tasted heavily of charcoal. If I could give one star I would , the service was terrible every time I asked for someone to take a drink order all I got was in a second every single time, very disappointing will not be coming back or recommending to anyone

Pizza was bang on couldnt reccomend it more but massively needs to assess the future of Daniel Regan at charnock Richard football club massively overrated and massively over paid! Couldnt pick water out in the ocean if he needed whip a ball in other than that get down, restaurant has been done very classy and service is top notch! All staff came to check on us, and to see if we needed anything else and service was quick and a credit to the restaurant
