Saturday 22nd October 2022 I visited this wonderful Cleethorpes real ale pub on Cleethorpes train station Great choices of hand pumped ales great local and friendly pub and above all the staff in here are so friendly and helpful Please use this super real ale bar when here Saturday 31st August 2024 This pub on Cleethorpes railway station today was really good a nice amount of interesting real ales on and they were well looked after by the good staff on behind the bar The pub is a large old railway building with a large drinking area and good bar and local following Keep up the great work all involved

Fantastic Sunday lunch, worth booking ahead.

Highly recommend, came late to bingo and even though fully packed one of the owners still managed to find us space! Best night I’ve had out in a while, kind staff and kind atmosphere all round. A visit is a must!

Amazing pub. Not tried the food yet but I have been going there for over a year for sunday night boozy bingo. 6pm - 9pm. You will not find a more welcoming pub. No one judges there. Its not cliquey. Nice honest people. Good selection of ale, cider, whisky, port. (Amazing port!) Good music.

Nice little pub off the main drag on Cleethorpes sea front. Our visit was a little damped today with a couple of locals sat using foul language, smoking cannabis and surprisingly older in years. What a dreadful example for our younger generation.

Nice afternoon drinks with good company, good real ale range, good quality as ever.

Lovely pub with a nice beer garden. Popped in for a drink while having a walk through Cleethorpes. Will be back if we go again.

First time for Sunday lunch, although been in many times, when visiting Cleethorpes. Choice of beers excellent, friendly helpful staff. Food was excellent. For the money, a cracking Sunday lunch. 🤤🤤🤤

Excellent food good atmosphere quick service

We went on Sunday for our first visit... enjoyed our time there...nice pub great atmosphere and good prices. We will go again.

If your looking for home made food with fresh ( no frozen) veg from local farms, look no further this pub has the best food ,serving in the afternoon's 7 days a week unless they have one of there many band nights ,where the atmosphere is electrically charged . The friendly staff are brilliant, they make you welcome even if your a stranger you will fit rite in here , the outside seating is plenty ,it is a real suntrap ,can't beet it on a hot summer day . Then there is the number one fest that they have August bank holidays ,you need to be getting a ticket well before the day . It's worth it ,live local bands on from 12 threw till everyone drops. On this occasion there is a outside barbique ,you haven't tasted burgers like Dave's home made burgers ,it's a fantastic atmosphere . In a nut shell the number one it 5 star all round .

Love it in here, Steak night on Thurs is fab.

Great traditional pub on the train station always a good range of real ales and other drinks. Well worth a visit if your passing.

Tradional old pub with good food.

Lovely pub slightly off the beaten track (pun not intended). Friendly staff, well priced, takes card. Somewhat lacking in the beer choice department (no craft beers, bog-standard mainstream lagers) but does do some local real ales if you're into those. If you're a railway enthusiast you'll probably spend more time looking at the various artifacts & posters around rather than drinking - it's a bit of a railway museum in itself! Even can get a seat with a view of the railway station.

A traditional pub with a friendly, relaxed atmosphere and some of the best kept beers in the area. The No. 1 also has a reputation for excellent food but I haven't yet had the pleasure.

Possibly the best music night in the UK is held here circa 4 nights a year , the name of the music venue is somewhere down the line, the music is 50s and 60s r&b only on original 45 s and it is the pride of the north of England . Prices here for beer are cheap around the £3.20: mark for cask and speciality brews , all of a very high standard . Well located at the train station it is a good place for football fan to get that well earned pint after that long train journey . Always a warm welcome by the staff especially ray the barman and fellow staff as std . A traditional English pub with prices that are sensible for a tourist area.

Came here yesterday wanted to eat here as the place had good reviews and my little lad loves trains thought we was on a winner with the pub being at the station... There was a sign outside saying food not being served until 26th September and kids ain't allowed in the bar... What pub in 21st century is not kid friendly especially in a holiday area? Very poor! No 1 pub??? Should be renamed no 1 star pub ⭐👎

Nice little pub just off the main strip, clean and has great priced beer too. Thank you to the gentleman behind the bar who went the extra mile and added volume to the recent football match.

Drank in there between the 7th and the 9th of may all staff very friendly great atmosphere food was lovely and there sunday dinners where to die for left there feeling totally full definitely recommend it to people who i know are visiting thanks lisa david and all your staff

Small plates piled up is a standard sunday dinner, standard plates piled up is a large dinner. Why not just use a standard plate for both portions. Difficult eating off a smaller plate as you cant move your food about. But otherwise its not bad at all

Had Sunday lunch with 15 family and friends to celebrate my birthday. Beautiful tasty meals, large platefuls will go again well recommended

Picked up son from Cleethorpes train station and popped in here for quick drink as so close.1st time ever been here.Very busy for 5pm on a Friday. Seemed very friendly atmosphere. Only 4 stars because of dated decor but absolutely nothing to complain about

Great cafe/bar at the edge of the Mediterranean, we had a Mountain Bike pit stop and refresh, chocolate and banana crepe highly recommend....
