No 60 Brasserie in Islington

We ordered the burrata and tomatoes starter and when it came it was not Buratta it was cheap plastic mozzarella. No mention of this when brought to the table and no apology until we asked the waitress who didn’t know what the cheese was. If you don’t have something on the menu this should be made explicitly clear when the order is taken.

This is a local hot-spot and for Good reason. It dishes up fabulous quality food, with a capital Q..in beautiful surroundings, served by great staff, as my vote every time...Extra special Thank you today's chef, Food was exceptionally superb, as always...#FantasticNo60 Brassierie

Fantastic family run brasserie. I had a brunch special which was beautifully cooked. Followed by a lovely coffee. Fab service too.

We were looking for a place to eat before a small event up the road. We don't live in London, so we didn't know this area. The menu looked good, varied and reasonably priced. The cheeseburger with the largest fries was very good, as was the lamb kofte with rice and salad. Really great food, as we know Turkish food well. The staff were friendly and the ambience of the brasserie was warm. No hesitation to recommend eating here.

I ordered the English breakfast, it was a good sized portion, piping hot and excellent quality. The service was friendly and efficient, I would certainly visit again.
