I have just eaten a truly terrible lunch at no 3. The service was not unpleasant but slow. Poor “ croquettes “ Luke warm vegetable soup which my friend said was tasteless. The stew consisted of 4 stringy pieces of beef sitting in a lukewarm mound of cream potato and swimming in a cold gravy. There were few customers so I don’t know why the food was lukewarm . Where had it been sitting? We were asked at the end of the meal how it had been. We told the waitress. No one came to deal with our feedback. We could have sent the food back but the service had been so slow and we had places to be. A restaurant with a tragic atmosphere at lunchtime at least. Avoid!

Brought my family here for my birthday lunch . Lovely Sunday roast , sensible portions , children loved it . Quiet but relaxed makes a change from some of the louder bars around . Service lovely , attentive . Tamara very welcoming professional and efficient . Good value would recommend David

This used to be our weekend go to for breakfast. Unfortunately, we came here today from only visiting 2 weeks ago to an increase of a 1/3 on everything. Understandably prices have increased everywhere but 30% seems rather excessive for a mediocre breakfast. No3 has struggled with attracting residents since launching and I cannot imagine this will benefit them.

I have almost stopped going out because service is so often mediocre to say the least. I had a lovely fresh mint tea and my friend had lovely hot chocolate and a mini meal. I will go back again and again, if only for the amazing friendly and professional attention we got from your fabulous Tamara, who looked after us and made us so welcome. We will go back for sure and sample more on the menu. Tamara would be an asset to any business of this type. A real breath of fresh air!!

Wow! I did not know about this place but it was recommended to me by the person I and my family were meeting up with. The menu looked wonderful for lunch but our timing meant we opted for the afternoon tea option and we were not disappointed. From the quality of the food to the service: Exceptional. Thank you to Valentina and Tamara for being so attentive and looking after us brilliantly. The service was faultless. We also want to to tip our hat to Precious at the Front Desk as well as Rufi. This was my first visit but it will not be my last and may well become my go-to place in South London

I booked no.3 for my girlfriends 30th in the private dining room. The entire experience from start to finish was amazing, completely faultless and they made us all feel very special. We (group of 12) all agreed that the service was some of the best we have ever had, so a huge thank you to Tamara, Tayma, Vershai and Nat who made it an unforgettable experience. The food was excellent and it was a very nice touch for the chef to come out and see us at the end. Thank you very much!

My sister and I took our Mum here for her birthday and had a fabulous afternoon. We went for the free flowing prosecco option and it certainly was free flowing. We didn't have to ask for top ups as the staff was right on it each time our glasses went low. The afternoon tea food was nice. Just to note however that you only get one serving. It is not a luxury afternoon tea venue, but is great for a casual afternoon. I thought it was good value for money and a small and intimate setting. Valentina and her staff were exceptional and very accommodating. I would go again. Had absolutely no complaints.

We returned to No.3 Nightingale Place after visiting last year. We arrived back in London and this was our first choice to revisit. It did not disappoint in fact the food was superb, my wife had the scallop dish with beautiful leaf design, followed by lamb and I had the Sunday roast beef. Everything was delicious and cooked to perfection - well done to the chef. Also we had the pleasure of our waitress Tamara who served us agin. Her attentive service, her warm smiling attitude made our lunch even better. Impeccable service. She even found time to show us the rest of the facilities including the a l crate restaurant and the private dining room. We are considering using this for a family occasion. We have certainly found a gem in Clapham and we will return on our next visit to London. Please send our thanks to Tamara and Co for a special day.

We live locally and had never been to No3 so thought we would give it a try. We started with drinks outside and I had a nice Negroi. We went inside for dinner and had a nice seat in the corner. It wasn't busy and lacked a bit of atmosphere but we know that new places take a while to find their audience. The food arrived and was a real treat. I had the terrine followed by the trout and ended with the Lime posset with rhubard. All of it was really tasty. Well cooked, interesting and well presented. I had a really good meal. My wife and daughter also had lovely food. We really recommend you giving it a try.

Booked the restaurant for 8pm on Saturday. Arrived to be told that there was no record of my booking and that the kitchen had closed due to lack of customers that night. They finally found the booking but said the kitchen wouldn't open again. Was then told that we could eat and were given the bistro menu. When I asked about the restaurant a la carte menu was told that the bistro menu was all they offered anymore and this should have been changed on the website. Then told that we couldn't eat so got up to go. Finally told we could eat but we were not prepared to stay at this point and left. We were sat in bistro the whole time as restaurant appeared to be closed. Not entirely sure what is going on there or whether the restaurant actually exists anymore.

This was our first visit to Nightingale place SW4. We sat as a table of 6 in the bistro and from the moment we stepped through the door, we were greeted with a very warm welcome. We all ordered various starters which were absolutely delicious and the beef skirt to perfection for the mains. Our lovely waitress Tamara who took our order was efficient and knowledgeable of the menu - she highly recommended certain dishes which did not disappoint! Each of us decided to go with a different dessert, I had the cranberry crumble, also the Aperol Spritz were a delight! A brilliant way to start the weekend! Thank-you to the efficient staff and wonderful food.

Awful customer service from Tamara. Rude, abrupt. Everything was an effort for her. Will not be returning. She should learn to wear her mask on her face not around her chin

Always keen to support local business and excited by the good reviews we booked this aesthetically pleasing restaurant. Sadly this one was the worst dining experience we have had in ages. Despite the restaurant being empty the service though apologetic was lacking. The white wine was warm and had to be sent back. One of our family members received the correct order on only 1 out of 3 courses with the main course missing 2/3 of its ingredients without explanation and charged at the same price! The food was ok but not for the price and the deduction of one dessert from the bill just didn’t cut it I’m afraid. One redeeming factor was that they were able to cater for allergies! Unlikely to take the risk of dining here again.

I came to this pub in South Kensington as I loved the look and vibe of the place. I do come here when I can for a treat. The staff are amazing and a lady called Diana served me and she was very professional and kept the pints flowing and made me and my clients very happy. They admitted they would be going back with friends and family.

After hearing mixed reviews about this place i decided to try this afternoon tea. They have Halal and Gluten free options. Overall ambiance and decor of the place is nice and floral. Staff was attentive and kindly offered free a hot chocolate to the child. However it took then 35 mins to bring the food on the table despite the whole place being quite empty. We had one Gluten free and one regular afternoon tea. Afternoon tea itself was very presentable offering variety of teas and we tried three different teas, the nicest one was Masala Chai. Sandwiches were ok in taste albeit rather bland. Scones were fresh, tasty and light. Unfortunately the desserts were very average in taste and were very basic. They do not do refills which is unusual for an afternoon tea. There is definitively room for improvement.

Jurassic Afternoon Tea at The Ampersand Hotel: what a great concept! So fun and so delicious. Really recommend people (of all ages) to try this when visiting London.
