Cranking pasties and the staff are great fun

Called in for a takeaway, ordered a steaket and onion rings no salt or vinegar but when I got home everything was soggy and the batter mushy and normally their food is spot on

Nowhere beats this chippy, very friendly people that know how to cook💯⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Best chips I've had in a long time. Fantastic staff, super friendly and couldn't be more helpful. Great selection, crisp, dry and tasty. Highly recommend

The staff were all very pleasant and chatted .We had a delightful christmas chip each with turkey/ham and cocktail sausages.

Food arrived over an hour late after having to phone and ask where it was. Food was freezing and so not on par with what I normally receive. Sad to say I'll not be getting a delivery again don't think I'll actually use this chippy again. Food just went into the bin £17 wasted

Not sure what happened with our order today as usually this chippy has been spot on in the past, I would say it has been a while since we have been so maybe standards have slipped. Sausages were overdone, chicken goujons also over cooked, beans and the cheesy beano were a congealed mess and they also managed to not include a chip with the supper. The only reason this gets a 2 is my partner said the chicken was nice once she removed the the very thick batter, my meal went in the bin and I drove to a different chip shop for my son's dinner as his sausages were inedible.

Brilliant Menu, friendly guy with blonde hair. Waited a while but it was busy and the food was lush.

James runs a fantastic chip shop, food was well cooked and tasted great. Would recommend to anyone to visit

Fantastic food, everyone who was in my house that I ordered for thoroughly enjoyed their food varying from Fish Suppers to Cheeseburgers. Extremely nice and will definitely order again

Been looking to try this place for a while. Would love to give it a 5/5 but on my visit they had run out of fish. Not the reason for not getting a 5, that was because I picked the burger, bun was ok but the burger was over cooked and dry for my liking and was topped with only mayonnaise no ketchup or onion. Chips however are the best I've tasted in a long time and that's the reason I'll be going back to try the fish and chips. Value-for-money another good reason to visit, definitely worth a visit.

I had cold bites which were the nicest I have tasted and it was all freshly cooked.

Fantastic chippy .excellent staff.had meal Friday 24th January. Young girl served us super well groomed lovely manners efficient welcoming and friendly. Food amazing. Service brilliant. Young guy on counter so nice staff realy lovely. Deff be back and will be bring family and friends as this wee place a hidden gem .clean spotless well organised .staff just so plesent. Food so enjoyable.

Honestly best chip shop in Newtownards. Staff are extremely friendly and helpful. Chips are home made and nice and crispy. There’s a sit facility. Extremely clean and great value for the quality of food. Highly recommended.
