Nigiri in East Dunbartonshire

Came for lunch wanted to come for ages. Managed to get last table as we didn't have a booking. There was a great value lunch deal but we went to the main menu. Pumpkin croquet a big hit, haggis tempura and sweet potato tempura yummy. A vegetarian sushi platter fab and a salmon and chicken katsu platter. 2 Dan Pellegrino and we were happy. Wee bit of tablet with the bill. Good fast service and we will be back.

Ordered home delivery on Friday night. Chicken Katsu Curry [2 of]. One of two dishes was horrible. Chicken texture was like rubber. Called the restaurant and they committed to replacing the dish [which is why they get two stars rather than one]. The replacement chicken texture was also like rubber. Tasty food, good portions and good recommendations from ?chef/owner - bao buns really excellent. Good sized portions and happy to arrange take home containers.

We ordered a take-out order compromising of sushi/bao buns/spring rolls/gyozas. All of it was absolutely delicious, we thoroughly enjoyed everything. The presentation of the food was lovely as well - much better than every other take-out we have had. The staff were very friendly and polite when I went to collect the order. We will definitely be returning.

We had dinner here tonight after hearing about it online. We are Wagamama lovers so we’re keen to try something similar but local and independent. The food was amazing and the portions were really good sized - we ordered what we would normally eat at Wags and had so much we took two lunch sized portions home with us! The staff were so friendly as well. We will definitely be back!!

10/10 everytime. Great vibes, amazing staff and such a people place. Staff will always remember your name, always check everything is up to standard which it always is. Food is amazing, cant fault it. Highly highly recommend.

We have ordered before . Never had an issue with delivery, the house is hard to find so we always leave explicit details on how to find it plus our phone number. Food was over half an he late, and my partner had to phone the driver through just eat, to be told she had been driving round trying to find it? Why not phone, tried to phone the restaurant to complain no reply. Won’t be ordering again. Extremely overpriced for food you need to microwave.

Very tasty food, had as a takeaway and it was hot and delicious. Huge portions so don’t over order - we had plenty left over.

Absolutely fabulous food, cannot recommend highly enough and the chef is so nice and so helpful with his advice on dishes. My favourite Japanese restaurant in the whole of Glasgow and surrounding areas. It's a must to go here....

Lovely food, so good I went back for seconds. Portion sizes are large so took my remaining spicy chicken ramen home and was given a wee extra portion of broth to accompany it. It was just as lovely at home. My partner had pork teryaki, it was also gorgeous. The meat in both dishes was so tender

Place was recommend so we travelled to visit today and wasn't disappointed. Reasonably priced, outstanding tasting food and the staff are just lovely. Every sushi lover needs to know about this place! Haggis tempura curry was incredible too.

Went to Nigiri lastnight and we fell in love with it. It was tucked away in a quiet side street and it had amazing artwork on the walls. The staff were friendly and attentive, the food was amazing and the portion sizes were well above generous. The pork bao buns and chicken gyoza were out of this world! We were away for a relaxing weekend and this place was perfect for us, I’m sure we will find an excuse to get back to Kirky at some point just so we can return 😂

Decent prices and excellent service. New owners trying to mak a real go at it. Dumpling Ramen an Tempura prawns delicious. Partner had katsu and teriyaki chicken. Great portions too. Thoroughly recommend

Went there for family dinner had spicy salmon maki, cucumber maki, spicy tuna maki, bbq ell nigiri, volcano roll and dragon roll Volcano and dragon roll was completely different than in top rated sushi place in the are of Glasgow very disappointing not sure they can even call that sushi. Spicy salmon and tuna maki was very thick lots of rice and hardly any fish in them, had portion of side noodle for a child what lucked everything well was vey bland . Such a waste of money, if you like real sushi I would definitely would not recommend this place !

Just been to Nigiri Kirkintilloch for the first time. It won't be our last visit. Used an Itison afternoon tea voucher . The food was delicious, especially the Hoisin Duck sandwich. With the voucher it was very good value . We tried the watermelon lychee and peach fizz cocktails and they were both excellent. The place is small but the decor is quirky and the staff are very welcoming. Will definately be back to sample more from the menu.

Went for lunch today and had to write a review! The food was first class, tasty and filling. The 3 small plates for £12 is excellent value and let's you sample different things. The chefs were on hand to speak to and help us interpret the menu and nothing was too much trouble. Highly recommend a visit to this place.

We've had a few takeaways from here now, and they've sadly been disappointing. Most of the time the food has arrived later than the time stated on Just Eat and has been cold. And twice now we've been given gyozas with meat in when we ordered veg. Not great for a vegetarian! We've given the takeaway a few chances, because the food has been excellent when eating in the restaurant, but cold food (that should be hot) isn't nice to eat, and putting meat in a veggie dish is unforgivable. And it's not cheap! We'll possibly go back to the restaurant, but we won't order takeaway again.

We eat a lot of sushi from restaurants around Glasgow area and can honestly say the sushi here is first class. Had Bao Bun as well which was fab and some really tasty sriracha fries. Lovely waiting staff too and well worth a visit. This will be a regular place for us.

We used to love ordering from here. But it's definitely went downhill recently. It's definitely overpriced for the quality of food now, it didn't bother me so much before but Foods arrived soggy the past 2 times we've ordered and sushi is a bit all over the place.

Visited with the family for lunch, service was excellent and food was top notch. Good variety to choose from we just order a mix and shared around staff were very accommodating with extra plates and cutlery for the wee one. We’ve visited a few times now and it’s been great on each occasion. Love the graffiti artist walls.

Anyone expecting Japanese or edible food should give this place a miss. Ordered ramen, which came with literally no broth. Resembled chow mein, with everything covered in a thick layer of grease. Prawn tempura came cold and soggy. The bao buns were a complete joke...
