Talbot Arms in East Dunbartonshire

Firstly we never had anything to eat and we went on a Tuesday night so that’s probably why it was quiet(which we prefer anyway). However, if I could give no stars out of 5 I would for the terrible attitude of the woman behind the bar, she was totally unwelcoming and very unfriendly - asking for a drink seemed like a hassle for her (even tho the place was dead and that is her job). We won’t be back.

We live in a period in which politicians are not very popular, and believe me you have my sympathy. Politicians are regarded to as people who have learnt to talk but not to act. And you demand action, and rightly demand it in dealing with unemployment. We live in a period and Britain can only survive by vigor and by action. We have resources of intellect of energy of craftsmanship, and of skill.

Friendly and welcoming very clean toilets, great for a few drinks,had a good vibe to it.

Popped in for a quick pint of lager, £4.80. Quiet, early Saturday afternoon. Decent pub, friendly staff and local clientele. ☆☆☆☆☆

Great cask beers on tap - perfectly set up - and good atmosphere. Plenty of tvs for sport but very low volume so not intrusive. Definitely worth a visit for real ale drinkers.

First time in Milngavie in many years and visited The Talbot Arms where we were greeted by friendly staff. Thr guy who served us was really nice and chatty. We'll be back! 😁

Pub has been refurbished to a high standard very welcoming feeling now Teri Kyle and all the staff were very helpful & friendly felt very safe during my visit all covid guidelines followed i will definitely be back

As a Brummie in Glasgow I was made to feel very welcome. Well kept beer and unlike most, maybe all, pubs after lockdown they managed to get the football (Villa) on for me. Very friendly clientele. Thoroughly recommend.

The place is being refurbished and/or upgraded. Currently it is closed so the rating probably does not apply at all.

Waited over an hour for lunch. We were a large group of 10 who ordered a variety of food and were not updated on the wait. Eventually ended up cancelling the order after the long wait - Very disappointed. If the kitchen was unable to fulfill our order this should have been communicated at the time of order.

Most expensive pub for a beer in Milngavie/Bearsden. Nothing great either.

Good working class pub thats no bumped its prices up unlike the other bars in the town. Good selection of beers and spirits. Live music on Friday nights and sport on most days. Tables outside and dog friendly
