The patties are amazing. I wish I lived closer as I would but more. Cheese and beef delicious. I usually get the chicken but sold out. Pastry is perfect. Very friendly service.

Used to order food from here years ago. Then I think it closed for a while and it just went out of my head. Tonight I ordered large ackee & saltfish and stew fish both with rice and peas, fried plantain, saltfish fritters and macaroni cheese. Oh my days it was a taste sensation!! Well seasoned and generous portions (Mr W will have saltfish fritters and some ackee & saltfish for breakfast as their was so much food). The lady who served me was friendly and it was clear that they get a lot of regulars in. All of whom were chatty and friendly. We don't eat takeaway that often, but when we do it will be from here.

Absolutely dreadful paid for brownstew chicken got loads of rice an bone, rubbish service, no wonder it's always quiet! Can't beat Mums Kensal Rise.

One time i went to Jamaican shop as am Jamaican my self and i dont no what kind of food i got but i left out side and this Jamaican man pick and two two man nearly dead in hospital. Just what I was looking for in Jamaican food while in London. I wasn't just the culture but the authenticity.

I've seen this place busy for years but I always drove past caught up in life... I took the plunge and ordered what I can only describe as some of the best Caribbean food I've ever had. I went for a large portion of jerk chicken with rice & peas, side of Mac & cheese and a slice of carrot cake with a bottle of fruit punch to wash it all down. The meat was juicy but tender with the perfect amount of spices and the rice was soft and fluffy. The Mac & cheese was delicious (I personally would add more cheese but that's a personal preference). The carrot cake was a winner for me... 🏆 The lady behind the counter had a warming smile and was more than helpful in helping me decide what to try, the service was second to none. These guys have earned another regular ✅

Local Caribbean good food, good value for money

Ordered for the first time on Friday, food was delicious, had the curry chicken, it was seasoned perfectly. Guiness Punch was so nice and reasonably priced.. Will definitely order again...

Not a great experience! The jerk chicken didn't taste like jerk chicken as it was sweet- the sauce just tasted like ketchup mixed with 1/2 spices. Also the plantains were fried in heaps of oil, this meant that I couldn't eat them at all as they were drowned in oil. The rice was okay at best but could have tasted fresher. A lot of room for improvement.

First time trying Nice n Spice. Curried goat was OK though it tasted like mutton, nothing special. Portions were small for a large. No plantains or coleslaw served, which is standard in any Caribbean food joint. Festival was disappointing. Tried a small bite which was nutmeg/ cinnamon. Not sweet, fried a few days ago and stuffed in a bag to be delivered to me. Oh, delivery man seemed like a nice, friendly chap. Overall not somewhere I would recommend. I only tried this place based on reviews as I was craving this food.. More fool me!

Great value for money compared to others. Get in early if you want soup ...it seems to fly . Rice n Peas n Oxtail is my go to and it never fails.Lunch time it can be busy so order to collect or be prepared to wait.!

This is the best caribbean around for miles. There food is always hot and fresh wen I receive it, I would order again if I could give 10 stars I would lovely food, and the staff very nice. 😋😋 Great takaway.

Great place, though the pricing is a bit odd. They have a poster saying there's a lunchtime special but it doesn't say the times "lunch" applies to. Additionally, I bought a basic rice and peas and jerk chicken meal, but when I got to the till the price was 50p more than it said on the menu. Odd. The food itself was gorgeous though, and the man who served me was very polite and patient. Would definitely go back again, though I'd just like to see a bit more clarity and consistency with costs.

My favourite West Indian food shop, lovely food , nice flavour & pleasant staff. It is a very popular food out let. Very good.

I have been using Nice N Spice for a few years now and have always had great tasting meals. Friendly staff, very nice owner. The curry goat is the best I've had, and I've eaten in quite a few carribean restaurants over the years, no shards and melt in your mouth goat. Highly recommend, keep up the great food!

Parece una pequeña familia de propiedad de negocios, sin duda considere invertir en la expansión de este lugar, ya que el servicio de atención al cliente era estupendo. El personal era muy amable y la gente nos dio recomendaciones de la comida para comer. Sin duda recomiendo curry de cabra y algunas de plátano con guisantes y arroz, que es el frijoles colorados y arroz.

Vine aquí dos veces en el transcurso de 5 meses y han sido muy contentos en ambas ocasiones. Primera vez la carne era precioso y tierna y nos dieron una generosa porción, no era recargado con fragmentos de hueso habituales y un montón de arroz. El personal fue cálido y también me dieron algunos pasteles gratis!! ; -) y hoy pedí un medio imbécil ante pollo que parecía más grande! Muy generoso y sabor delicioso ;0) y el servicio es estupendo, una verdadera joya que levanta lil Sudbury!
