Newburn Cafe in Newcastle upon Tyne

Visitedtoday to celebrate my dads 90th birthday had afternoon tea.It was delicious even had enough to take home enjoyed by us all staff very friendly and a nice touch they even had put birthday sprinkles on the table. Well worth a visit its my 2nd time there and certsinly not be my last .

Went there because of all the good reviews, had the all day breakfast which I could not fault, but coffee came well before my breakfast, the coffee was nice but not that hot which I finished before breakfast arrived, my partners qiuche was ok but the triple cooked chips were not nice at all, they were nearly cold and had a weird texture, some even hard in the middle, we noticed the couple next to us had also left their chips too, also not everything is listed on the menu.

Before our dog walk we called here for lunch. Delicious hot homemade soup and a cheese and ham toastie. Fabulous. Had take away today because we were in the camper van. Would usually sit in. Very enjoyable. Thank you.

Visité el café un par de veces ahora solo para llevar y en ambas ocasiones es ideal. Selección de tés / cafés, bebidas, bocadillos, helados, pasteles y algunas opciones de sándwich. Sándwiches de tocino y salchichas deliciosos, pan recién hecho y delicioso. Personal muy amable. Una pequeña y agradable opción para dar un paseo por Newburn Riverside.

I have passed this little gem so often but without visiting. However I recently met a friend for coffee and would highly recommend a visit. The cheese scones were the best I have ever tasted and everything looked so fresh and tasty. Well worth a visit.

Best coffee shop in the north east. Love going and always have cream for my coffee. I love the location righ next to the river and very frendly staff always a big smile.

Since moving to the area a few months ago have been on many occasions for a great all day breakfast or yummy sandwich. Lots of variety of sandwiches - not just the same old ones everywhere has. Great range of food, snacks and sweet treats all at great value for money! Love this place :) Not 100% sure if they deliver but I expect they would be accommodating as ever.

I tried the homemade sausage rolls with black pudding which were delicious. I have ordered some outside catering for a birthday party for next week and will comment later. All the food looks very good and very reasonably priced too. The Sunday lunches look lush but have not tried those yet. Its easy to park right outside. Very good.
