we never received our order, called store multiple times, and no answer.

waited over 2 hours my son had to go and pick the order up, no communication from the fish bar

Placed my order at 2:30 and did not receive it untill 4:45, after an hour wait for delivery anyway (Tuesday) our food ended up being over an hour late and came cold. The gravy tasted like it had been mixed with curry and when we called we had no remorse or apology as we wanted to check if there was an issue, as just eat stated other our food was delivered 40 minutes before being delivered.

I was not happing with this place it take 2 hours and 30 minutes to get to my house the food was way to cold and to much chicken with the chicken curry I would not recommend people to get from here u can risk it but I know I will not be having from here again

Big portions, nice food, but the pies and the Chips were just about warm.

Food was great as always. The chicken curry portion could have been a bit more in the tub. Overall, all good.

I paid for extra cheese on the cheeseburger but there wasn't any? the burgers need some work it was dry and non existent cheese but the rest of the food was delicious, chips where stunning

I recently had the pleasure of takeaway fish and chips from here and I must say, it was absolutely lovely. The fish was perfectly cooked, with a crispy and golden batter that gave it a delightful crunch. The chips were also fantastic, with just the right amount of crispiness and a fluffy interior. The portion size was generous, and the flavors were spot on. Overall, a fantastic experience that left me completely satisfied. Highly recommended!

Ordered for delivery & despite only living 5 minutes away the food was cold & soggy when it arrived.

My order has been delayed so much that i have just had a message saying the order wont be here until 10.00pm..i ordered at 20.10pm and the reataurant is 10 minutes away so this is unacceptable and I want to cancel please.. almost 2 hours wait for a takeaway is shocking

Order was placed at 7.10pm and food still hasn't arrived at 9.05pm. No update from the restaurant and they are not answering the phone so I am unable to get an updated. I'll happily change the food rating once food arrives however I can't submit without giving the food a rating

Can't fault them items replaced etc and they called to say the cake I'd ordered was not available so I went with the lemon muffin and was lush. Food is cooked and fish is one the best had from any take away in years. Lady on phone very helpful and polite. Will order again from them the boneless box deal was bargain kids loved it

they let us know about the delay which i appreciate , we were missing the curry sauce which is a shame. I think we are too far away , so the food didn't travel very well , could tell it would have been more yummy if we were closer

Absolutely disgraceful! DO NOT ATTEMPT an order. Lady on the phone must be fed up of dealing with complaints and given up food 2 hours late and her only response was ' we have to cook the food before we can send it out. After numoures unsanwered calls she finally admitted they hadnt started the order and it would be at least another hour Don't say this very lighly but the deserve to go out of business

Great value great delivery time, however every time I order the sub zero ice cream they always send me the wrong flavour! If they are out of stock and need to replace it just call to ask not send me a flavour of ice cream I don’t like

Horrible experience. Ordered at 8.10pm - given a time of 9.50. Rang at 10.10 to be told they didn’t have an order for me, then they found it and then was told I was far away so I should schedule my orders. I live 10 minutes away, confirmed by the driver. Food finally arrived at 11pm. Will not be ordering again.

The cod was delicious ordered small but ordered two would easily feed 3 people was cooked to perfection. The curry was nice and the only issue had was the large chips wasn't really a large as barely fed three let alone four people and there wasn't much salad in the kebab but other that that would order again as by far the best fish had in years.

What we had was amazing one small detail though , A large bag of chips was missing from our order and at over £5 a bag I wasn’t happy to just forget it. Called the shop was told they would be sent out with the driver straight away that was four hours ago , refund requested on just eat.

sausage had a water taste to it and was cold burger had gritty texture to it and irish curry didn't have enough spice to it.

visited today from cardiff was visiting area. food was generous portions compared to cardiff.really nice can't fault it at all nor can my friend.very busy chippie so doing something right.

Where do I start? Firstly, if I could I'd be leaving a 0 star review. I first ordered from these on the 10th February, for lunch. This order was nearly 3 hours late. I got a part refund for this order through uber because the food came cold and was disgusting. This time around I thought I'd give them a second chance because they were the only chippy open on the app. WORST MISTAKE ever. Ordered at 6.19pm, I tried ringing them straight away to make a minor adjustment on the order, in the end the delivery driver rang me back about 6.40pm and said to ring the restaurant because he was parked outside waiting to pick my food up. First lie. I started a chat with Uber at 8pm to see if they could get hold of them, they couldn't. I then got through to the restaurant to be told "it's ubers fault for saying 20-50 minutes delivery" (again, another lie because they are quite common to this "fast delivery"). Woman told me that there were two orders in front of me and it would be with me between 45 minutes to an hour and they actually shut at 8pm (at this point I could have cancelled and gone elsewhere, however myself and my children were hungry and I didn't want to risk another place and to wait even longer). 8.49pm I get a phone call from the same woman, giggling, saying they have a powercut and will not be delivering my food. Another lie, I checked the website for known powercuts in the area and there weren't any. I would avoid this place with all costs especially if you want to order for delivery, after reading multiple reviews online I would assume that they are no quicker or better if you going into the shop to pick up your food. Good luck if you're ordering from them 🙃

Chips not very nice looked like old chips warmed up the fish wasn’t great it was a few bits put together to make portion instead of one nice fillet

worst chip shop in the area ! beach tree was closed and everytime i come this place the attitude of the staff and atmosphere is just hideous…. walk in and the que is a decent size and we end up standing there for 15 mins whilst no one is getting served. end up walking out i advise nobody to waste your time here hopefully will close down soon and be replaced with somthing better ! go to beach tree !

The delivery arrived at the very, very last minute or the delivery window despite the info stating it had been with the driver for quite a while. I think perhaps they got lost because the food was really only lukewarm when it arrived. The cod was was over-battered and overcooked for me. I left a note for the restaurant asking for plenty of salt and vinegar but didn't get any at all and I found the chips to be quite limp and not that tasty. I would probably not order again to be honest. It was a shame.

Have ordered many times and usually food is nice.. however tonight the chicken curry only had 3 pieces of chicken in and the fish and fish bites was overcooked.

The early delivery was great , but the bag was broken,and onion rings where all batter no onions.
