The chips are more scraps than chips even when you say no scraps and food cold .I have phoned environment health and am making official complaint food is not fit for humans

Had such a shocking and appalling experience in this fish shop. Went in to order and was met with the rudest woman I've ever had the displeasure of meeting working in customer service. Don't bother.

Didn't want to give even 1 star after the experience I just had. I visited this fish shop today to be greeted with a very rude woman serving. Then, my order was wrong, so I went back inside the shop and politely asked if it could be fixed. However, I was met with such a rude and aggressive tone as though it's my fault it was wrong, even when it was in the order receipt! I think she needs to attend a course on customer service, especially since I can see from the previous reviews that this place needs to sort out their staff. It's safe to say I won't be returning again; it's overpriced and terrible! If you can't respect your customers and hate your job that much, don't work there.

When Opened the large bag of chips was same size as small,food was luke warm,me and my partner both had stomach aches couple of hours after food,food I crap and the atmosphere in there is also crap,save your money and avoid this place,the food will literally give you guts ache

Visited on a Friday night to be greeted by an unpleasant and rude female server, far more preoccupied with her mobile phone than serving customers. Male colleague equally as disinterested. Not the first time I’ve had this experience there and so chose to take my custom elsewhere and won’t be visiting again.

It arrive 6:45pm I placed the order 4:15pm I contacted the shop twice regarding my order has I could see via map my order hadn’t left at 5:35pm they first told me that it had left and should be with me in 10mins when I contacted the map was taken down and I had no tracker of it I phone them again and told them the delivery had not been delivered when they promised me it would be within 10 minutes (5:45pm promise via the phone) they then slipped up and told me it had NOT been collected by their driver as it was still waiting in shop so I requested could it be cancelled as still waiting they refuse to do this as they told me they had already cooked it and waiting on driver was delivered at 6:45pm

**AVOID AT ALL COSTS – SCAM BUSINESS WITH SHOCKING CUSTOMER SERVICE!** If I could give zero stars, I would. This was hands down the worst experience I’ve ever had at a food establishment. I placed an order via their website for collection on 20th December at 8pm. Knowing that gluten free fish and chips often require extra preparation time, I made sure to pre-order well in advance. I paid online and arrived promptly at 8pm, only to encounter the most unpleasant and unprofessional service imaginable. We were greeted, or rather not greeted, by a woman who clearly despises her job and has absolutely no business working in customer service. She barely acknowledged our presence, scowled at us as though we were an inconvenience, and seemed genuinely shocked that customers would dare walk into a fish and chip shop! When I asked about my pre paid order, I was met with a dismissive shrug and told, “Oh, don’t use the website, it doesn’t work. Nothing I can do.”* Excuse me? If the website doesn’t work, why is it live? Why are you still taking payments? As someone from out of town, how on earth was I supposed to know this? I then asked if I could just place an order in person since I was already there and willing to spend money again. Nope! I was told, “Oh no, we’re closing soon. Too late.” The sheer lack of effort or care to resolve the issue was appalling. Fast forward to today, 23rd December, and surprise, surprise, I’ve been charged for food I never received. I was assured the payment wouldn’t go through since the order supposedly failed, yet here I am, out of pocket and with absolutely nothing to show for it. To make matters worse, being from out of town, I now have no clear way to contact them for a refund. Here’s my advice: DO NOT, under any circumstances, give this place your business. I’ve since spoken to locals who confirmed that the food quality has plummeted and that this particular staff member is notoriously rude and unpleasant. If you can’t run a website, take it down! If you can’t provide decent service, don’t work in hospitality. And if you have staff members who actively drive customers away, reconsider your hiring choices. This was an infuriating, disappointing, and downright unacceptable experience. I hope locals take their hard earned money elsewhere because this chippy doesn’t deserve a penny more.

Just purchased large cod and chips and large piece cod . Cod batter was wet and gooey not cooked properly Chips more crispy bits and pieces than there was chips

Placed my order at 2:30 and did not receive it untill 4:45, after an hour wait for delivery anyway (Tuesday) our food ended up being over an hour late and came cold. The gravy tasted like it had been mixed with curry and when we called we had no remorse or apology as we wanted to check if there was an issue, as just eat stated other our food was delivered 40 minutes before being delivered.

I was not happing with this place it take 2 hours and 30 minutes to get to my house the food was way to cold and to much chicken with the chicken curry I would not recommend people to get from here u can risk it but I know I will not be having from here again

Big portions, nice food, but the pies and the Chips were just about warm.

Food was great as always. The chicken curry portion could have been a bit more in the tub. Overall, all good.

I recently had the pleasure of takeaway fish and chips from here and I must say, it was absolutely lovely. The fish was perfectly cooked, with a crispy and golden batter that gave it a delightful crunch. The chips were also fantastic, with just the right amount of crispiness and a fluffy interior. The portion size was generous, and the flavors were spot on. Overall, a fantastic experience that left me completely satisfied. Highly recommended!

Ordered for delivery & despite only living 5 minutes away the food was cold & soggy when it arrived.

My order has been delayed so much that i have just had a message saying the order wont be here until 10.00pm..i ordered at 20.10pm and the reataurant is 10 minutes away so this is unacceptable and I want to cancel please.. almost 2 hours wait for a takeaway is shocking

Order was placed at 7.10pm and food still hasn't arrived at 9.05pm. No update from the restaurant and they are not answering the phone so I am unable to get an updated. I'll happily change the food rating once food arrives however I can't submit without giving the food a rating

Can't fault them items replaced etc and they called to say the cake I'd ordered was not available so I went with the lemon muffin and was lush. Food is cooked and fish is one the best had from any take away in years. Lady on phone very helpful and polite. Will order again from them the boneless box deal was bargain kids loved it

Absolutely disgraceful! DO NOT ATTEMPT an order. Lady on the phone must be fed up of dealing with complaints and given up food 2 hours late and her only response was ' we have to cook the food before we can send it out. After numoures unsanwered calls she finally admitted they hadnt started the order and it would be at least another hour Don't say this very lighly but the deserve to go out of business

Great value great delivery time, however every time I order the sub zero ice cream they always send me the wrong flavour! If they are out of stock and need to replace it just call to ask not send me a flavour of ice cream I don’t like

Horrible experience. Ordered at 8.10pm - given a time of 9.50. Rang at 10.10 to be told they didn’t have an order for me, then they found it and then was told I was far away so I should schedule my orders. I live 10 minutes away, confirmed by the driver. Food finally arrived at 11pm. Will not be ordering again.

The cod was delicious ordered small but ordered two would easily feed 3 people was cooked to perfection. The curry was nice and the only issue had was the large chips wasn't really a large as barely fed three let alone four people and there wasn't much salad in the kebab but other that that would order again as by far the best fish had in years.
