Such tiny portion of snack box, half full. Won’t go there again. And taste not fresh neither! Do not recommend this place

Not one clean table in the whole place and dropped food mess on the floor which I trod in a few times. Not likely to use this restaurant again.

Picked up a kfc through drive through for me and my partner to discover the chicken inside my box meal was like this which instantly put me off my food as it’s the first thing I saw. Absolutely disgusting.

Terrible food, messy and dirty restaurant (at 7.30pm so not busy) and poor hygiene from the staff. We spoke to management but they were not interested in our concerns. Extremely poor experience.

Saturday 10:40pm last resort local drive through as living less than 60 seconds away! Chips! minimal serving cold and soggy! Chicken in tower meal was also stone cold and tasteless! As for the Boneless Banquet meal it was pitiful , chewy and also cold! Chewy rice as a side 💁‍♂️ Management should be disappointed in their structure and establishment . Almost £18 worth of food unable to take back as closed 11pm!

I've never known anywhere to screw up orders this badly. Being able to count is a basic human skill, but these airheads can't even do that. I'd have thought 10 pieces of chicken and 2 coleslaw would be a relatively simple concept to grasp, but these idiots can't even get that right. Seriously, if you can't even do this job properly then how are you going to get anywhere further in life? KFC Caerphilly are giving Peter's Pies a run for their money when it comes to employing wrist-slapping idiots.

Very disappointed orderd our food at 3:50pm and still at 3:40 we are sat waiting. Most annoying part people come with us and had they food and many others after us were having they food. And every time we asked kept being told 5 mins then more people would come in and order and get they food. We had a little boy with us who was waiting to. Very poor services

Hadn't been there in years as last time food gave me a bad stomach...guess what! It still does....but the reason for my review is that on Monday 29th January 2024 we decided to give them another chance...they didn't have any chicken for the boneless buckets or regular ones...they said dad could have extra strips or chips instead of a drink but judging by the bag we didnt get that either...we got two very small portions of chips and just 4 chicken strips...all for about £9!!! An absolute rip off!!! We weren't allowed any sides free or even a drink to make up for the lack of food. Absolutely disgusting services, charges as well as the quality of the food judging by my stomach the next day! Should be shut down, permanently!!!

Look its a KFC lets not shout out about anything in particular. The hot Wings are fine which is the only thing I have and the milkshake which when hot doesn't work sometimes but more than other kfcs. The service is always pretty quick however but it's hardly ever busy when I go in.

Ordered the 12 piece boneless banquet for a family treat. It arrived but the gravy was missing, a fundamental part of the KFC experience in our opinion im sure most would agree. I Raised it with Uber who replied basically saying tough luck as the side was part of the deal it had no value to refund. Even though I paid for an additional side as well but they seem to suggest sides are free which is ridiculous. There’s always an issue with the order and frankly enough is enough so we WILL NOT CONTINUE USING UBER OR KFC UNLESS THIS IS PROPERLY ADDRESSED!!

after waiting 15 min.Had to go back in as they got the pop, and looking through the bag was things missed, so I had to go through the drive thru for the others was all sorted fast.

Fabulous freshly fried food. Lovely staff. Management are top tier. Shout out to Ethan the store manager it’s clear he’s passionate about the restaurant. I’m here almost daily lol.

Love a KFC but there restaurants are nevers really clean and this time service was poor.

It had been raining and the floor was really greasy and slippery. No aditional mats were put down and I slipped, to stop myself from falling to the ground I grabbed my husband and in doing so Ive hurt my shoulder,neck and upper back. Plus on that day the wifi was down so could not use the app and use my coupons, so rather than missing out I ordered my food online and used the click and collect. Put rubber mats down when its wet. Signs are ok but the floor was slippery.

Don’t eat here. Had chicken and chips last night and I’ve been sick all day today. Definitely got food poisoning.

food came through uber pretty quick, except the pieces of chicken was extremely greasy, RAW and looks like theres brains in there. definitely avoid

The food was great; the staff were not. We waited more than 10 minutes for two box meals and a kid's meal. Staff seemed to be more bothered about chatting in the kitchen than serving even when someone came to the counter. I had to go to the counter to ask for our order which we could see was ready on the landing zone. There was a table that hadn't been cleared from before we came in and other tables were dirty, and the floor not clean. I'd overlook this if there wasn't at least 4 members of staff in the kitchen, behind the landing zone, having a chat. Further to the above, the toilets were dirty and had no paper. External bins were full. One staff member who seemed to casually flit between front counter and kitchen with no hand hygiene in sight, had huge fake eyelashes and extensions in. If environmental health had done a spot check, you'd have been shut down. I know hospitality has been destroyed by the pandemic but this was ridiculous. We've both worked in the sector and know how hard it was pre-pandemic, but this was something else. This is a clear failure in leadership and of the standards no doubt expected by the Colonel himself.

After no chicken on the bone available at Nantgarw, drove to Caerphilly to find they had the similar problem. Had the last few pieces of chicken on the bone as part of a family bucket and then had to wait for them to cook some boneless chicken fillets. Normally the food is piping hot, but as we had to wait for the rest of the order to be cooked. The chips were stone cold and the rest of the food in the “bucket meal “was lukewarm. Very disappointed how a chicken outlet can run out of chicken!

Not sure why this KFC is the best, you would think they are all the same. Staff are fab and always recommend the best deals.

The food was ok. There don't seem to be any really good KFC stores any more . Most of them fall into the average category and this is one of them. I was hungry and it sufficed.

Always clean, staff are nice, food is delicious. Sometimes a little slow but never an inconvenience and staff are always polite with it. Conveniently located and easy to order. Wish they did home delivery via the KFC app

I ordered a teriyaki boxed meal. It was lovely however a bit concerned with the high level of salt in my chicken filet!

We ordered food for the team at work. Ordered this in advance in the day and was ready bang on when they said it would be. Food was great, hot and as you expect it. Staff were friendly and carried it out to the car.

If you are looking for something different the rice box is worth a thought because that's what I usually go for

Not difficult to understand why the car park and drive through are always empty the food and portions were awful this is not a reflection of all KFC restaurants because I have always enjoyed what I’ve had elsewhere but Caerphilly one is shockingly bad

Went through the drive thru ordered our food and went to it it chicken was stale and cold and the rest of the food was cold went back through and complained and all they done was give us warm chips and the same chicken and burger disgusting

I think it's no surprise to anyone that KFC has pretty much died a death by now but I still sometimes fancy it even if during and after I kick myself. This day it was burnt even. Someone needs to calibrate their pressure fryers because that was too hot. Crunchy rather than crispy. Also, who ever thought it was clever to have automated order machines that were so complicated all you can order is their burgers when everyone knows that KFC is about the drumsticks that aren't on the menu so you have to ask separately for it at the desk. FFS, this is KFC, that is what you do best. Just close down already and stop the suspense

Decided to give this KFC a try for an evening meal. Ordered and paid online. Had to park up and wait for food for approx 10 minutes. Awful food. So disappointing. Chicken barely warm and coating not crispy and limp and too thick. Fries soggy, limp and barely warm, gravy barely warm. Never will visit again I'm afraid to say.

Had food poisoning from here very recently, would never go here again.

Always loved chicken now I have to say been messed over so many times ordered something turn pit something else driving down a motorway to late ive put in complaints to KFC the company is pathetic. Very dirty place! The service is not interested in work, they are busy talking and playing on the phone. We waited a long time for someone to come to take our order even though no one else was there. The tables were dirty and we were disgusted to eat. The floor was dirty, food leftovers. Chickens are often tough and rubbery. Nothing changes on the menu. We want to order a salad. Hasn't been available for 2 weeks. The menu has not changed for several years. The dirt in KFC is the worst. It should be clean so that customers do not get poisoned. Horrible place do not recommend

Restaurant had a handful. 1 car at drive thru had to wait 15 for food when I got home. Most of the food was cold. Half a portion of chip. no good, but it has always been bad

It's a KFC... Food seams smaller than this time last year... I had the zinger tower... It was ok... But not like it was. It can be very busy in there, as there is a drive though and a restaurant

Food is always fresh and have never had any issues with our order. But the lobby was discusting, 90% of the tables were dirty and it wasn't even that busy and there was food all over the floor, the staff were all having a conversation in the kitchen and listening to happy hardcore music and no one was serving. One boy waited for for 10 minutes or more to be served also there were no napkins and no toilet paper in eithers toilets male and female.

Never a good sign when the restaurant is empty at lunch time, and your chicken is handed to you in a brown paper bag instead of the proper box,no napkins, no wet wipes.

Everytime i have gone to this site they have had issues with the card machines and system failures. They can only accept cash which now days not a lot of people carry

Absolutely fuming ordered food through Uber eats from this restaurant, 2 zinger box meals , when delivered there was only chips in the both boxes and nothing else so I rung kfc up to tell them they havnt packed the rest of my food and the lady on the phone had a stinking attitude and pretty much said there’s nothing they can do !!! Livid !!

Nice atmosphere and lots of families. The food was good and service great. The only problem was the condiments were not stocked up, so I had to keep going up to ask for straws,cutlery and sauces. Also the bins were overflowing so we had to leave our rubbish on the table. They seem like they could be understaffed, as the people serving us were very friendly and professional, but not enough people to sort the restaurant facilities.

The member of staff who was at the window last night 28/8/22 at approx 9.40pm. was extremely rude and ignorant, dispite getting my order totally wrong, and overcharging me TWICE. There are plenty of decent people looking for work, she should be sacked.

Specsavers in town offer hearing tests as one of their services. Maybe your staff should take this offer because then you might actually get my order right

Nothing like they used to be, food dry and tasteless the chips are over cooked and horrible. Won't be going there again.

Ordered this evening 2nd July 2022.our order arrived stone cold. With all our sides, dips, extra and chips missing. Rang the shop 78 times no answered so we've paid over the nose for cold food and only half our order. This isn't the 1st time either. Will be calling in personally tomor hopefully to have a refund. Terrible service and disgusting customer services. When there is no way to correct our order. Ruined our family meal..

Food was alright. Fairly clean tables. Table service is not available even though it is offered as an option. Overall not a bad lunch experience.

Staff are always friendly and helpful. All the food is really lovely whether fresh or frozen and so so cheap. Their steak pies are delicious and their strawberry shortcake is fabulous 65p! Their fresh meat, fish and vegetables are superb, avocados are truly ready to eat. Since switching to Aldi I have saved a minimum of £30 a week on my shopping. Thanks Aldi.

I don't eat KFC but my husband loves it and rates the caerphilly KFC amongst the best .

Ordering machines are normally glitchy or out of receipt paper. Can't normally scan the app. Service is a bit slow too. Chicken is good though! 👍

I had a family bucket from here yesterday 4th June. The worst meal I have had from there. The chips were disgusting. We should have sent them back. Will not be going there again.

Decided to have a meal there today and waited about 15 mins at the counter and still not served, so I walked out. If they can't be bothered I can't be bothered to go again.

Fast service and polite staff..

Ordered a family bucket and a bunch of sides, everything in the order was correct, hot and fresh. Service was friendly and efficient. Much nicer than that golden arches nonsense!

Gent's toilet is a disgrace and not checked regularly enough for a fast food establishment🤢. no toilet tissue available! Floor pee'd on in cubicle and almost dried up! Feces marinade in toilet brush holder stuffed with toilet tissue tubes "USED" in place of missing tissues! Toilet brush head detached possibly in holder (I didn't have the stomach to check!) Misaligned toilet seat Cubicle 5ft x 2ft, door frame privacy bar sticks out 10cm inside of that. Perfect for smashing knees and elbows into! toilet constantly flushing but flush not working. Debris filled urinals. This is not a place I want food from so I left and found food elsewhere

I have never been so disappointed. Ordering for a family of 5 including 2 children .. not only did we have to wait just under an hour over the delivery time when the food arrived most of it was cold and mashed up where it had been chucked in one bag… with drinks leaking on top and items missing. Did not even eat the majority as it was tasteless . Worst £46 ever spent … will not be ordering from them ever again!!!!!!!

Went in as can't drive on my way home from work!! Got used the machine which never gave me receipt which i didn't mind....i sat down (bearing in mind there is only me in there) after 5-10 mins i hear the staff fooling around....then i hear there are no customers in here so i can assalt you which i look around and the one boy is in a headlock.....asked to see a manager she came and i explained and she said they were throwing salt sachets!! so she don't see a problem!!

The smell of ancient disgusting oil is noticeable round the local area. I used to like the occasional unlucky fried kitten, but they've gone way down hill and the smell puts me off every time I think of returning. Not just me though. Drive past any fast food place at peak time and it'll be packed, except KFC, which will be empty because everyone knows just how bad it really is. Could at least change the oil every other year, so we don't have to put up with the stench and who knows, maybe customers would start to return? Crazy idea, but might work. Until then, avoid. You deserve better.
