STAY AWAY!!! DISGUSTING AND Extremly Rude staff members, food took over an hour and half to get to me and they gave me attitude because I called to find out where my food was.

Really yummy food. Ordered twice and both times delivered hot and tasted great. One of the best Chinese I have had in a long time Service is brilliant too. Delivery was a bit slow

Delicious food, tasted fresh and full of flavour. Best Chinese in the area in my opinion.

Delivered RAW chicken, completely unacceptable and disgusting. To add to this the food which was edible was entirely bland.

Was again a lovely chienese. Would highly recommend for all locals for their chienese. Service is good aswell didn't have to wait long.

Best Chinese in the area! Tried a number of others before finding New Star, none of them compare. Good prices, great portion sizes. Food always arrives very quickly and piping hot. Their chicken balls are particularly outstanding. A firm favourite, I wouldn't go anywhere else.

Really decent Chinese takeaway taste is pretty good delivery within 10min from the order.

Best Chinese food! I ordered a chicken fried rice and chicken chow mein and it was delicious. You could customize the spice as well if you tell them to. The portion size is also very decent. Highly recommend.

Bought a couple of egg fried rice's from there as my local place (Fiveways Fishbar) were closed for holidays. I couldn't eat it. Some of the worst egg fried rice I have tasted in my life. Tasteless. All of my family felt the same. Had a taste like the rice was off. Won't be visiting again.

Excellent food! I'm a regular with New Star, love what they produce and prices are more than fair due to the outstanding portion sizes.

It came in 20 mins; so quick! Which was absolutely brilliant. The food was average. We ordered salt n chilli squid, monks vegetables, crispy beef and egg fried rice. We were quite disappointed with the egg fried rice unfortunately

Ordered on an app but the delivery never showed up. Called the restaurant and they re-made the food and re-delivered it! They were also very patient and nice on the phone. Also, great Tom Yum Soup! A lot of their dishes are too heavily sauced and salted though.

Have to say, this is the worst Chinese I have ever had. Full of oil and stale food. Never again

I’ve ordered from this restaurant numerous times in the past year but in the last 3 months their standards have dropped massively! According to the manager, they try to do their best but on this occasion due to their lack of accountability I can’t let this one go. I ordered £24 worth of food and there was a very long hair in my sweet and sour chicken. I was trying to pull the hair off but unfortunately, it was deep fried within the chicken and was the longest hair I have ever noticed in my food. I had to drive back the restaurant and just like my previous experience, there is just no sense of accountability. You give them another chance after terrible food and they give you food with hair Inside! I will never order from here again. Save your money and buy food with people who wear hair nets and take accountability.

Ordered from here and there was a dead cockroach in my egg fried rice?!?! I have plenty of pictures.

The best Chinese food ever. We have been ordering here over 3 years and never had any issues. The food is incredibly tasty and delicious. Jenny is a star and the most kind and wonderful person. This is my favourite Chinese place in the whole world.

Food is great just need to be friendlier on the amount of King prawns they give you I had 5 in my box. But food amazing been going there for over 8years

Egg fried rice no taste and over cooked ....prawns taste like rubber ..... Ribs very dry ......(horrible food ) my wife has been vomiting last 2 days

Tried Singapore rice noodles and was nice, did have one bad patch when it wasn't cooked enough.

Always get the butterfly king prawns . Yummy but can be a bit bland at times. Got some dim sum recently and the har gau was really good

The overcooked rubbery squid was hard to chew, not a good start. The rest was average at best. Except the szechuan chicken; tobasco in hot water would have had more flavour. In summary; overpriced poor quality food.

Recently moved to the area, i'm delighted that this is my local! Really delicious food, and quick delivery too. Also well happy that they have salt and pepper chips on the menu. Will definitely be coming back for more (... and soon!)

Was recommended this place by a friend and I have to say that this was the best Chinese I've had in a very long time. Good portion sizes, nice fresh taste and not oily at all. From now on I'll be ordering from here.

The best Chinese food I've tasted in a long while,!and trust me I know good food.i find that the food especially the rice is very fresh as in cooked on the day very good and tasty flavours.the food portions are generous .well done keep your standards up .

My husband and I ordered from here on Monday night. It was too much food so I had a bit of my vegetarian rice noodles and saved the rest for the next day. To my horror I discovered a small piece of chicken (I think) in my leftovers the next day. I was mortified. I'm a strict vegan (and have been for 12 years, vegetarian for 26 years) and almost threw up thinking that it was in my food. I will never eat here again now that I know the food standards.

Prompt delivery, cutlery supplied and I have to say that the food is AMAZING, I was stopping in Croydon working away from home so thought I would give them a try. I would crawl over broken glass just for the chicken rolls alone. Highly recommend!!!
