New Rejent Chinese Takeaway in Dundee City

Brilliant service and delivery was great. Food was delicious. Definitely recommend.

Ordered chicken chow mein and the noodles and chicken were over cooked and had a weird taste, beef with green peppers and black bean sauce with fried rice was ok but very little flavour the only decent thing was salt and pepper chicken starter and even that wasn’t the best very dry and again lacked flavour

Extremely tasty food portions are outstanding, polite and helpful staff delivering will definitely order again .This was recommended by my daughter in kemnay gardens who orders fairly regular.

Been using New Regent for almost 50 years, and I’m sure it’s changed hands several times in that time, as well as umpteen chefs, but it’s always been top notch for Chinese food. However the Singapore style special curry I received tonight was absolutely dire. 80% of it was green peppers (half cooked) and onions. The curry sauce was watery and tasteless. Hardly any beef, chicken or prawns My partners chicken chow mien was also pretty tasteless. Won’t be using again.

Ordered food on just eat from new regent chinese at 7.45pm 2 hours later it arrived went to sit down and there was a meal short they charged us full price no discount the service was disgraceful delivery driver didn't even apologise for been late disgusting !!!!!

The onion rings were soggy and the chips and curry sauce has no taste to it. There something about the taste tastes weird.. and the soup was really salty .. awful total waste of £15. Wouldn’t recommend

Would give a zero for last night's service and delivery not sure what happened have been here lots of times with no issues

Asked for chow mein for rice with tiny bits of chicken in it and little to no sauce , disappointed waste of money

Chicken Mary land was over cooked and was so rubbery was not edible at all the curry sauce and chips curry was watery they managed to fix one order again for chicken Mary land had tub of curry sauce only not to mention that they asked for our previously food to be returned what on earth they want do that for seriously not thinking of health and safety of food been touched also food hygiene and for covid reasons won't be ordering from rew rejent happy hillock again may also mention always ordered there lots time so disappointed !

Just bought the worst Chinese ever. Kung-po, no flavour what so ever, spring roll once I bit into it, it smells off. Ripped it open was coming from the ham. Definitely off. Chips were fine 🤷‍♂️🤮. Used to go there in the 90s was very good. Buy a pot noodle, it will taste way better....

Always get a good meal from here , good service and tubs packed

I got a king prawn curry and fried rice,I dumped the curry, the rice was dark colour a bit salty and sauce very mild.

Just had our first takeaway from here and it was the best we have had for a long long time. Ribs were meaty, tender and so tasty. Sweet & Sour chicken was fab too.

food was terrible literally didnt give me sauce for my chicken friend rice and the rest of it was vile dont order x

Order from here all the time delivery usually quick but since they got a new driver the service is terrible waited two and a half hours on delivery!!

Ordered plenty from here. Food is always good and 9 times out of 10 it is ready when you turn up. They ask you how long you will be

Order salt and pepper chicken didn't even taste like salt and pepper chicken as there was loads of garlic and salt but no pepper will not be ordering from this Chinese again disgusting not even 1 star from me

Will never be back to this Chinese all the food was absolutely disgusting and burnt, salt and pepper chips where just marinated in garlic and the chicken in the food was like jelly.

It's OK. Nothing spectacular though.

Waited ages on our delivery, the onions were still raw the salt and pepper chicken was dry as a stick,and the crispy beef was rubbish,we used to order from the old regent every week, won't be ordering from here again.

I had a bad experience with a chinese place, called New Regent in Dundee on Happyhillock Road, I ordered almost £15 worth of food that the quality did not meet the Value of Product, First they mixed our order up, we got a completely Random order, so once this was sorted out, we waited ages until we got a replacement, or not, we received cold rubbery food, the chips were brown, it seems that the oil had not been changed in a while, the quality of my chicken maryland(my usual) was rubbish, smaller portions, the banana fritter was black inside, again rubber, the chicken portions smaller/thinner, I am very upset, And will be seeking other places to buy my food. Rubbish.

Service was bad, waiter was rude, made me wait while she sat on her phone and texted.
