KFC Dundee - Camperdown Leisure Park in Dundee City

My partner and I popped in here last night and what a horrible experience. The toilets were awful, smelly, floor wet, toilet not flushing, no soap in dispensers, partner said male toilets the same. A sign said the toilets were inspected regularly! The cafe itself was not clean, tables left dirty and rubbish on floor. We were in at 7pm and it wasn't busy. The meal itself wasn't good, chips were awful like they had been cooked and had been lying a while , tasted like they had been cooked in old fat. All the staff were young and obviously not doing very much, think the place needs an older supervisor to make sure the work is done. Dread to think what the kitchen area is like ! I see the same complaints posted from reviews three months ago, obviously nothing has changed. I think it's about time you cleaned up your act. I will not be back, felt nauseated all evening, all in all a very unpleasant experience

The place wasn't very clean with dirty tables and dirty floors even though at my time being there there was only another 2 tables being used and nobody ordering. As a chef I would expect cleanliness through out the restaurant with no dirty tables and clean floors. I had my usual meal a zinger burger was mediocre and only warm. I ordered it WITHOUT mayonnaise and I got it with a load of mayonnaise on it. I had it replaced without mayonnaise and I think they may have kept it behind the counter to cool off as again it was warm. As a diabetic I need too eat so I just had to eat it the way it was. The chips well what can I say about these. I can only say this- worse than the burger. Cold chips that flopped about like one of those blow up men things at car dealers. I hag a large coke which was ok but certainly not large more medium as it wasn't fill to the top. As for the rest of the meal I didn't bother with them because by that time I was really not feeling it.

How is that a zinger burger absolutely disgusting a bit of chicken between 2 buns the buns still frozen unbelievable it doesn't even look like a zinger burger

If you are a veteran, an emergency worker or an NHS employee with a Blue Light or Veterans discount card avoid this branch of KFC! You have to use the self-service kiosk to place and pay for your order the kiosks advises you to scan the KFC QR code, the machine pings as expected but doesn't apply the discount! I flagged this with a member of staff who confirmed the kiosks dont accept the discount. No signage anywhere to advise customers that the kiosks don't apply the discount! How many Blue light card holders have paid the full price thinking that it was they who made the error?

Great service and loved the food

No salt no serviettes in a drve through box meal 😒 Update...this time I asked for and recieved salt and serviettes but received what must be the worst KFC burger I have ever had a dry roll with a few pieces of lettuce and a really stingy blob of mayo, obviously made by a kid with a grudge against having to be at work. The last confirmation I needed to never buy take aways again, an extreme waste of hard earned money

Half my order was missing.... How hard is it with only 4 items

The food was OK but the toilets were horrendous, clearly hadn't been cleaned and stank to high heaven. If that's the standard of cleanliness in the place I dread to think what it's like in the kitchen.

Popped in for a quick bite after dropping my young grandson at a birthday party, food I had was 1st class the premises were very clean and tidy. If in the area in the future I'd stop off here again.

Waited 25 minutes for my order after paying, saw multiple take away orders leave before mine 5 customer's along side me waited this time once approached the staff just said they are waiting for chicken. When the order arrived, grabbed it got myself home to find Four chicken legs in the order no variation.... .. So I paid nearly £10 for fries, water and 4 chicken legs that took 25 minutes. Never coming here again.

Don't go to this KFC it's filthy went take some sugar it was rock solid all of them where and full of sugar mites my son ended up with them on his jacket we left the food on the table untouched waste of £45 bucks a inspection is called for or shutting down and a proper deep clean deffo needs never seen that in my life left feeling itchy won't be bk and has really put me off KFC all together 🤢🤮😡 only gave one star to comment but personally it should be minus 10 star's

On top of that,this time when my order came- the bottom of paper bag was wet & my food dropped all over my kitchen floor. Never ordering KFC again. Wot a rip off

Went here before a hockey match and it was like a war zone. There was rubbish strewn over all the tables and the bins looked liked they hadn't been emptied in hours! They had no wipes or napkins and just rolls of blue tissue lying g around the place. The toilet floors were soaking wet and like a skating rink! The place is shockingly understaffed and poorly managed! Food was not too bad when it finally came but definitely won't be hurrying back!

Huge rip off, KFC used to be better. Now £10 for a small meal, and if you want regular pepsi, you'd better bring your own. Who even is KFC to decide that I cannot drink regular pepsi if I want to? They don't even give you sauce anymore, they are that cheap. I'll never visit KFC UK again.

It's the best place for me to go for a fast food takeaway. The food is always fantastic and the service is great.

Very slow service and not that busy

Of the 3 self service machines, 1 was on. I placed my order, it offered table service, I got my code but it didn't print receipts. So just remember it I guess? After sitting for a few minutes a member of staff just starts shouting a number. With no other responses I assume it me. "The krushems is doing a self clean just now do you want Pepsi instead?" Yeah, sure. Another few minutes. The staff member starts shouting my number again. I go across an its my food on a tray but only some of it? So not table service? As I pick up the tray the guy just walks off. Cool, make two trips because there was too much on the tray. No offer of cutlery or condiments. After sitting at the table for maybe a minute, I could literally hear the staff complain that customers were coming into the building. I'll make special effort to avoid this store. **Update** I went to this store again, visited the drive through. Ordered a fillet tower meal and a zinger burger, we were told the zinger may take a couple minutes, that's fine. Asked for a coffee with one of the meals, it's broke. Pepsi it is. 30 minutes later we get our meals. Off we go. We open the meals to find, two fillet burgers. We waited for nothing and got the wrong burgers. Wrong meal, no coffee and a 30 minute wait.. I regret going back. I'm taking that second star back.

Went here last night as we wanted something quick as travelling with a 2 year old, probably the worst KFC I've ever been in, 4 rubbish bags greet you at the door, the place is filthy, rudest staff who spoke to me like I was a bit of dirty on the floor. I ordered a child's meal yes I chose sweetcorn didn't realise it was instead of chips, my daughter said I think there's a chips missing he young lad went to the counter to ask the girl about it, she said they are wrong he said bloody well knew that idiots, only he didn't know I was at the counter getting sugar and I overhead him. Next problem was I couldn't see the fruit shoot, so I went to the counter to ask her about it, her reply was you ordered a Pepsi max, in a very rude tone...I said no I ordered a child's box with a picture of a fruitshoot now surly if Pepsi max came with it as standard that's what would be in the picture. All I got was a glare from her saying well you ordered that.. fine I'll purchase a fruit shoot. £31.50 later and I'm livid 😡 at their lack of customer service. I won't be back there and hopefully management looks at the comments, and speak to the rude staff, and gets the toilets clean too. Absolutely disgusting 🤢

Love coming back here Friday nights after busy week, just to chill and enjoy food. Mostly clean, spacious.

Got myself a meal deal at £8 got home 1 bit chicken on a bun half a bag of fries that were tiny and burned absolutely disgusted with meal if I hadn’t driven home I would have taken it back and hit the square in the face with it ,,, shocking and £8 wasted

I found this place dirty, not thought out well etc. Had a boneless bucket to eat in as an outing for my 3 year old grandson . No paper plates or any means of setting out your food. Was spooning the Coleslaw and beans out of tubs directly onto food in our hands, which wasn't ideal for a 3 year old. Was supplied 2 cups for a meal for 4. Straws unravelled in our drinks, had to go on the hunt for sauces and forks etc. Splashes of " whatever " all up the windows. Table dirty, floor filthy, toilets dirty. Only reason we stayed was because my grandson was enjoying himself, and the food was pretty good.

Got 2 wicked zinger box meals asked for no mayo or lettuce on both just salsa both were dry no sause atall gravy was like water and food was cold very disappointed after spending £9.99 per meal shocking won't be going to kfc in a hurry that's for sure

Ordered at drive through payed £24.99 for 12 peice BONELESS chicken bucket got home was given 2 individual meals with 4 piece chicken on the BONE and cold fries 2 cartons of gravy that I did not order Staff should start paying attention to orders at drive through. Day light robbery what I payed and got wrong order .WILL NOT BE BACK TO KFC .

Had tea from here last night now got food poisoning! Been sick nearly 10 times since it! You lot need to get staff who know how to cook

The entrance and tables looked clean however both bins were overflowing there was litter on the floor and under our table a spillage on the floor. My wife couldn't use the toilet as it was in such a state. Food was the usual hot and fresh however concerned about the hygiene of the kitchen if the main restaurant shop floor is any thing to go by.

Absolutely vile inside. Used to go via the drive but went inside today. Won't be back after seeing such a mess. Disgusting

20 minute wait for food, once arrived some missing and what did arrive was cold. If it wasn't for having hungry children with us I'd have asked for money back and walked out. Speaking of walking out you definitely had to wipe your feet on the way out.

Over the years I've visited this KFC a number of times and it just never gets any better. I have yet to receive an order that didn't have something wrong with it, be it missing dips, sides, drinks, it doesn't matter. I visited this one again after being to a few others around the country during a holiday. During that time, I became quite fond of the zinger rice box with an extra zinger fillet. Visiting this store, I could get a normal chicken rice box with extra fillet but not the zinger. But I could get a zinger salad box with an extra zinger fillet and a separate side of rice. Really why was ordering this made so hard? Put my order in, put my partners in and for the first time in a while, the wait was reasonable. I left and later discovered my partners fries to be missing. In addition, upon opening my salad box... There was no extra fillet. I can judge this from having had several, from multiple different locations over the course of 3 weeks and really, there was only one. Or maybe 2 much smaller fillets compared to the other locations? I've reduced the food by 2 stars not because it tastes bad, but because it is not what is asked for. Service and atmosphere rock bottom as it should not be this hard to place an order and the inside feels like a funeral is taking place. The phrase "the customer is always right" does not mean that they get what they want. It simply refers to the fact that if you don't offer what customers want, they will go elsewhere. Well, this place neither makes it easy to ask for what you want and if you manage to order it, good luck getting it.

The food that arrived was cold. However we were missing beans, sweet chilli sauce and a pack of fries. The vegan burger was coated in mayo although we asked for none. Hadn't ordered from here in 2 years and this just reminded us why.

I dont have anything negative to say about KFC, they always have good customer service and it's always a good atmosphere. I highly recommend KFC to anyone who wants a great meal for a great price I defo recommend the Zinger Stacker burger, is it by far one of the best chicken burgers I've ever had.

Nothing special. About the same sub par experience KFC seems to be in recent years. Greasy soggy coating that slides off the chicken. Customer service was acceptable.

Spent over £30 excluding delivery, no lid over chicken bucket and 4 × fries and dips missing from order. Utterly disappointing. The 1 star is obviously for items missing which were paid for and you cannot contact the local KFC, answering machine and no-one called me back. Won't be ordering from KFC again. It really is hit or miss ordering from KFC online. I'll be sticking to my other local takeaways who very very rarely get my order wrong but do answer the fone and rectify the problem immediately. These big chains get away with taking your money and no responsibility when the order is wrong, make it extremely difficult to get your money back.

Food wasn't what I had ordered and was charged for a bag they didn't have. food was prepared by three different staff and in total took 10 mins. very disappointed and unlikely to be back.

Order screens werent working properly but still seem to take money from my bank without completing order. Kids fillet burger was very peppery, my son couldnt eat it. No watermelon and lime juice which i had paid the extra for, wasnt told until after i had paid.

Tables etc could do with being tidied/cleaned down quicker as the place was a bit of a tip tbh.

Wow just felt sorry for the girls at the front of house, no management at all just young girls hung out to dry, placed an online order inside as ordering in store was so slow, spoke to staff about my order as soft drinks were not being served, spoke on 3 more occasions about my order, 25 mins later I spoke to manager and apparently my food was all done and the staff had called my number several times,I was stood next to the tills the whole time, whilst In there 3 other customers also came in to complain, I eventually got my food which was cold, amazing how this place is still doing any business a big food chain with very poor management and no customer service skills whatsoever ! Just to add I don't like to leave bad comments or reviews for anybody but unbelievable !

The food prepared here is the best in all of the KFC's in Dundee. The chicken skin is always cooked to have just the right amount of moisture into it where as in the other KFC's its always a little dry. Nothing to complain about. Good food at good prices.

This is definitely one of the better KFC restaurants in the area. Clean, fast service, polite staff.
