KFC Dundee - Tom Johnston Road in Dundee City

Food nearly always sub-par and slow service even though it's pretty deserted. Rather a sad place and a last option.

Sorry to say the service was absolutely terrible. We waited for over 30 minutes for our food and we got told after ordering our food that they didnt have fresh chicken and therefore waited extra long due to that. Didnt even apologize for the delay. The food was badly done and we didnt even have any plates to eat our food on. Big thumbs down!!!👎🏻👎🏻

The meal was good but the service was not great.

Toilets are somehow even nastier than normal kfc toilets

Long time since I tried this. Zinger burger was impressive.

Traditional taste of Kentucky is no longer exist. Oil filled chicken been served and outer layer of coated flakes become spongy and absorbent which suppresses the taste buds. Since there is no much options in the market people tend to visit KFC.

Love this place food is always good and always hot

Surprisingly good lunch for a great price. The restaurant was clean and tidy but the toilet could have been better.

I went to order in the drive through at 10:38 (the restaurant should open at 10:30) and was told they would be a few minutes setting up, I could not place my order yet but could wait in the car park if I wanted then "try again" in a few minutes.

Restaurant was very quiet considering it was mothers Sunday but otherwise a pleasant place to stop for a meal.

Went through drive through, quickly checked order and noticed menu items were muddled in with others, meaning we had to sort out our meals. Then realised there was also items missing and had to wait to see someone and empty contents of bag to find what was missing... 40 minutes from ordering to leaving 🙄

Bought a take away, the share bucket. So much salt on the chicken we couldn't eat it. Called the store but no answer.

Can’t say I agree with the mixed reviews on here at all. KFC as a brand is one of the better fast food options in my opinion. It’s a little bit more expensive than the likes of McDonald but I think the food is much better and you also get a lot more. In terms of this specific branch, I’ve been in a few times and never had a problem - food is consistent and what I’ve come to expect from kfc. I was served quickly and there was constantly folk running around cleaning tables. 3* for atmosphere, cause ultimately it is a fast food shop. Rewards app if you don’t have it is great, regularly get free stuff and I think the top end items are full meals.

Was only up here for a trip to take my 4 Yr old to see santa at dobbins. So decided to have a KFC before goin home. Food was good but what was really disappointing was to sit in our car eating food with our 4 Yr old and watch not 1 but 2 different drug deals take place in the car park right in front of us. Really put a damper on things

Okay, noisy when the local police Scotland garage services gang comes in for lunch but make it a safe atmosphere lol who’s gonna cause trouble in a cafe full of police Scotland folk!!! Trouble is I’m coeliac so not safe for me at all I had a cup of tea I brought with me and crisps and a biscuit I brought with me! Hubby got a decent feed for £9.99 and I got to smell it - all I can do these days. Sad going out and being able to eat on the go safely ends when you have coeliac disease too much cross contamination and a massive lack of knowledge in the entire “eat out and on the go” industries. Sad but true.

I got a drive through, the staff were polite and friendly but the chicken skin looked dark and over cooked and the chicken inside was dry , l didn't enjoy it i would say the worst kfc ive had so far. Having said that the chips and ice cream were good.

A typical KFC - friendly staff but quite often forget a couple of things in the order. Blue Light Discount available.

Tables left dirty, ordered table service due to heating difficulties and they instead shouted my order number out (which I couldn’t hear!) and our food sat to go sold and some kids in restaurant admitted they were going to steal it if it sat there any longer. Top tier KFC couldn’t recommend less. Also no receipt was given from machine, only one poor guy was working restaurant and till which clearly was a struggle, I don’t blame staff at all I blame management

Till staff were lovely but the veggie salad box came 1/4 full with no beans..when I took it back in they had put 2 beans with a teaspoon of sauce in the box. Absolute joke for £6

KFC rank highly in my value for money that leaves you feeling content until a next meal. This is also one of the more dependable locations for getting your order correct, but as always it is recommended to double check things. My biggest gripe, which I don't think is the locations fault, is that not everything on the menu can be ordered online for collection etc. For example, in store I can ask for a zinger rice box with extra fillet. This doesn't exist on the website or app.

Was in the drive through in dundee, beside Sainsbury’s ordered 2 twelve boneless chicken buckets, the first thing was we wanted a 16 piece and a twelve piece buckets which they said it’s only done in eight pieces or twelve pieces even though we had got a sixteen piece last week and before then, they didn’t have the juice or the sides that we wanted, the order was for two households and when we got to our first stop we found one bucket with 24 pieces of boneless chicken. Which we had to put chicken pieces into another bag for the other household. Everything was all mixed up in two bags and was very disappointed to say the least

Ordered our food via there touchscreen system with table service, our order was left on the counter and we got shouted at to come get it, yet we had table service, we ordered a family box meal the bottle of juice we ordered wasn't available so had to substitute it, the chicken in the box was cold the spicy wings dumped on top of the chicken pieces without a bag so all the chicken within now was spicy not good for the kids, the chips were stone cold as was the gravy the corn was hot and the only edible part, the ice-cream the kids had was ok I guess but would not recommend as the food was cold and tainted, the service was lacking and no one seemed to care, I will not be back to this KFC that's for sure

KFC drive-through is good. Cheap tasty food and not the worst for animal welfare. Order is usually accurate. Haven't tried the restaurant part due to Covid pandemic.

We ordered and took food away when we opened it up some was missing, the chicken had been sitting so long it was like trying to eat a rock, service was unfriendly and made us feel uncomfortable I used to really like this kfc 16 years ago it really has been worn into the ground, the toilets were filthiest I had ever had the misfortune to walk into it was the worst of what you could imagine made me feel physically sick. Will never go back.

Twice I’ve got delivery’s and both times had a good bit missing from my orders not hard to get an order correct

Run well and serves fast. Going inside, the touch screen thing did not work correct. The staff helped fix this.

Quiet when we visited so the service was quick. Staff were friendly and helpful.

4th time in a row my drive through Order was wrong. This time I didn't make do and i drove back, supervisor sorted it but clearly a training issue, good food but check everything before you leave😒

It's ok, the food was nice but the people person skills of the staff could be worked upon. Like today, 22nd August 2022, I went for lunch, and when the order was brought to my table the guy had an akward look on his face and didn't say anything slid my tray onto the table. Another thing which annoyed me was the fact they forgot to add my drink to the order and had to go up and ask. No apology, just an "ok" when I went up to ask.

Had our order delivered and it was wrong, took nearly 2 hours to arrive, then some of the chicken portions were not cooked properly. With large part missing the all delicious special KFC coating. So we took them back. I have vowed now to never use this place again. In any circumstance.

Great customer service. Today first time we order trhu the app and of course we made mistake 🙈 but gentleman at drive thru was really helpful and fix it and even brought our food to the car. Thank you pal really nice service.

Brilliant service, went in late at night , we just wanted chicken bucket, no fries no sides, they worked out the cheapest way for this, although I wouldn't have minded paying full price because after all that's the way they come, my choice not to have fries. Thanks all, enjoyed our meal.

For once I went to a KFC where everything was hot. Not sure if it was luck of the draw or not but when everything is hot and fresh it makes it so much kore enjoyable

Well, ordered food, when I got my zinger burger it was like the chicken had been to the gym it was that hard to chew, not my idea of fun losing my crown at KFC and with the new TAX on food £7.99 a meal and Arnold Schwarzenegger chicken is not my idea of fun!!!

Staff very efficient, plenty of room inside for keeping away from others, chicken was perfect, only thing is I still don't like their new fries. It is obviously to do with cost, as they will pay less for unpeeled potatoes, but I do still prefer BK fries. That will not stop me going back. That is the reason I give 4 stars. Their fries.

Absolute joke of a place small portions expensive seems the staff don't care

I ordered to take away and could not have a latte as they had no milk. It came on a tray and when I pointed this out, the server tried to transfer the chips into a bigger bag spilling a few. I took the apology out to the car and although tasty enough the food wasn't very warm. I will not be returning for another helping.

Got 2 variety meals via the drive through, got home one of the meals had only 1 piece of chicken, strip and 2 hot wings, phoned to let them know, guy gave an apology, offered a piece of chicken, live in whifield so wasn't running down for 1 piece of chicken! Just highlighting it. Food was apart from that fresh an hot, but will check now before driving away.

Food was usual from KFC. Tasty . Coffee menu could do with an update. Place itself was dirty in places but staff were busy .

Never get the food we order correct and then when you complain they tell you to call customer service for a refund...would rather just have the food I ordered.

I went early. The food was refried chicken from the night before. It was tough and tasteless. I will not visit there again.

What can I say just chicken at its best again a great choice, the drive through no waiting, 10 out of 10

Staff were extremely helpful and pleasant. Premises were spotless. Service was quick and food was delicious. I know these places seem to ask be the same but a bit of character goes a long way, and a smile and a joke helps. Thank you.
