Had the same order a few months ago and was delicious. this one was soggy, spring rolls included. really disappointed

Food was fantastic and super hot on delivery.

Some of it nice and some not great. The duck spring rolls were expensive and I didn’t see any duck in them at all. Beef in black bean sauce was lovely and the salt and pepper chips but the chicken balls were terrible. So I think this take away is hit and miss.

Best Chinese food in Leeds 16 and beats surrounding areas by Quality and Price. Family owned business by lovely and friendly Chinese people.

Ordered at 8.10, when ordering it said 35 to 45 mins delivery. When order put through it said 9.05 to 9.20. To be fair, they called at 9.05 to say that it would be 15 mins late, 20 mins later I rang up to be told it would be another 15 to 20 mins. When it came the meals weren't labelled so it was hard to tell what meal was what and one of the meals had quite a bit of gristle in it. Will not be buying from here again

The food was nice enough but very expensive. Pancake rolls used to be around £3.60. They are now £5.60. Chicken fried rice is £8. I understand that prices have had to go up, but a three and a half quid item going up by £2 isn't right. For chicken fried rice, pancake rolls and a salt and pepper box delivered was nearly £36. For two people. It would be ten quid cheaper at Cherry Tree.

Very late. Called to learn where the food was and the person on the phone instantly said 15mins albeit the app said the driver left 15mins prior. After asking for partial refund due to food being ordered at 8:20pm and food still not here at 9:47 the person said they would call the driver back and give him (to give to me) a free bottle of coke! There is no planet where this would ever make logical sense. Shocking customer service!

Salt and pepper chips were covered in an overpowering/inedible amount of cinnamon. Rest of the meal wasnt the greatest and most of it went in the bin. £25 wasted. Wont be ordering here again

Always order from here for delivery, food comes pretty quickly, is always hot and really tasty and consistent. Best Chinese in the LS16/18 area in my opinion and I've tried loads!

I haven’t received it I want my money, all my food

Generally the food was good. One of the dishes was wrong. We ordered shredded chicken. what came looked like chicken nuggets in sauce. We didn't enjoy that one but the rest was good.

The meal was delivered on time and was lovely one of the best ive had. Well priced and i will defo be re- ordering my food from here.

Best Chinese takeaway I've ever had and lovely people running the place. My wife loves the honey chilli chicken especially, we've had quite a few things and the roast duck fried rice is excellent as well.

Children working at the front counter is strange and should be at home. I believe that's illegal anyway. The food and service are decent, but the place needs improvement. It's a very old-school establishment, but everything else is fine.

The ok sauce dish was bland and greasy. The chicken wasn’t in a crispy batter. The starters were dry and very little meat on the spare ribs. Bit disappointed.

Everything that came was cold. The chips just looked and tasted like they had been rewarded several times then left for 20 mins to go cold again.

First time ordering from here, not sure why as they’re literally up the road but it was absolutely spot on. My partner ordered a chop suey not even knowing what it was.. but said it was delicious, his new favourite 😂 will be ordering all the time now.

Plenty of food came nice and hot , but had no flavour , paid £2 for some gravy that had zero flavour usually chinese gravy is full of flavour but not this one I won't be ordering again

Compared to last time, this was quite a letdown. My satay was more like a chop suey with a touch of chilli, but no taste of peanut whatsoever.

As always the food was delicious and exactly what was ordered. Will definitely order from the New Oriental again.

It's been quite some time since I last ordered from here and I wasn't disappointed. The food was fresh, tasty and top quality, just like I remember it to be. The driver was prompt and polite. All in all, it was a very pleasant experience.

Sauces were a bit thin but otherwise really lovely food.

Unfortunately the order was not complete - only two items out of six arrived at first. Took two further attempts to deliver full order. However, it was very nice when it had all arrived.

If the driver left when I was told they did, my food was driving around for over 40 minutes. However, upon arrival the food was hot and tasted extremely fresh. I appreciate that it was a busy evening, but I’m not comfortable with the idea that the food is sat in the back of a car for 40 minutes. Despite this, I would order again as it was delicious. I get the impression that perhaps the app was updated incorrectly and the driver had not actually left with our food.

Too many Chinese takeaways seem allergic to vegetables in their dishes, but this was a nice balance of meat, flavour and veg. Really enjoyed the meal

We ordered prawn toast but it was chicken not prawn and ordered sweet and sour chicken balls but got no suace so just battered chicken

Food was lovely would defo go back, delivery was late but they did call to say would be late which was appreciated.

The outlet rang to say that they would be 20 mins late, but on the website it is showing as delivered ! Do not be fooled!

Food was all a very bland and unappetising with all the sauces being VERY watered down versions of what you’d expect. Not quite the worst thing I’ve ever eaten but definitely well below average.

I have never managed to find a Chinese takeaway that doest underwhelm me or let me down….. Until now! We have used this place a number of times now and I am never disappointed, from the friendly punctual delivery drivers to the quality of food. Always tastes fantastic, always hot, we love it!!

Really prompt service, food was hot and fresh. Delivery driver was friendly. The chicken in ok sauce is not crispy and the sauce isn’t thick and sticky. Probably wouldn’t order that dish again but otherwise the food was great.

NYE meal. After reading all the positive reviews, I was optimistic that our NYE meal would be of a good quality. Unfortunately, I am sorry to report that this was not the case. Firstly, the food arrived some 30 - 40 minutes after the allocated JE time (after a call from me to prompt) & 1' 45" from the point of order being accepted. Secondly, when it arrived, all items were warm at best, meaning that they had to be reheated (not ideal). Thirdly, the food was pretty bland & probably spoilt by having to nuke them. I appreciate the demand on a night like NYE, but in this instance, both service & product was well off the mark.

Hmm, we switched to N.O. after our usual Chineses went downhill and have been really happy for dozens of orders. This time, crab soup did not have any crab, it was imitation crab stick which is disgusting. Veg spring roles were almost empty, and cold. S&P chicken had great taste but stone cold. Dry ribs were mostly bone, sometimes only 1/4 meat. Disappointed. Strike 1.

Usually really enjoy a meal from here, and have been ordering for over a year now. Noticed the food has come poorer quality past few orders. Tonight delivery took over an hour and past specified time slot- tried to call where the resteraunt let it ring for awhile, picked up the phone and slammed it down in the same second. Food was cold. Chips were awfully stale. Sauces like water. Delivery driver was polite.

I ordered the salt and pepper combination box with extra chips, unfortunately the extra chips were missing. All ok apart from that, luckily I only paid a pond extra for them

First time I’ve ordered and when I opened my delivery there was satay sauce everywhere as they had stacked the hot sauces and they had cracked in the packet, to add to this I ordered “mixed balls” and got chicken only which is cheaper. I ordered a salt and pepper box which was nice but had no “chicken strips” not one! So I probably won’t order from here again. They need to check the orders before they send them out. Food was hot though and it tasted ok

Usually really good, but this order wasn't quite up to the usual standard. The noodles were overcooked, and the squid was really tough.
